In odin choose PDA and flash the recovery i linked to. Then flash SuperSU from above link. Use the search function and you will find. Use google. There are DEDICATED threads about this rom. Ask there and be smart. Good bye

This is possible coz the firmware you have installed (maybe you upgrade your bootloader flashing that custom roms) is newer that the one you are trying to flash.

g900v BootLoop/Wizard loop after factory reset! PLEASE HELP!

Hey guys, so i just tried doing a factory reset on my phone. Now the phone boots into the setup wizard loop stating ''please wait while we prepare your phone''. It never seems to finish preparing so theres definitely something wrong.
The phone was running a pre-rooted g900v stock OE1 with an OD5 bootloader that I had flashed using the flashfire method months ago.
The instruction are in this link http://www.droidviews.com/install-l...sm-g900v-keep-root-and-enable-wifi-tethering/.
I removed sim and sdcard and did factory reset again from recovery with no help.
I attempted to flash both pre-rooted OE1 and OG5 but Odin keeps returning FAIL!
I am still able to get into recovery and download mode luckily but I really don't know how else to get passed this wizard loop.
Please someone help me.

Unfortunately, the links for the OC4 rooted link in the thread you shared me does not work. I attempted to flash the ncg_full_odin and the g900v_downgrade_to_ncg and both returned fail in ODIN.
If you have any other sources for the file or any other ideas it would be greatly appreciated. I hope this is fixable......

Yes, that file!
ODIN fails after ''NAND write start!'' step.
It is a .rar file so tried both converting to .tar with 7z application and just manually renaming to .tar. neither worked though.

I was trying to unlock my phone before this, before I gave up because I had downloaded the wrong version (5.0.1 UK stock instead of 4.2.2 stock, was trying to use the leaked unlock codes) and then I tried flashing TWRP 3.0.2-0 in Odin 3.10-7 which "Re-Partition" was ticked automatically for some reason and I didn't know. Now my phone is soft-bricked and Odin won't cooperate. Help me please!
I will provide more info as necessary!

Hi,
Too less info from you to give you reliable answer.
What's your phone model?
What version of recovery did you try to flash and where did you get it from?
It might be several reasons for your issue like:
- wrong/incompatible recovery for your phone;
- corrupted download;
- locked bootloader (depending on your phone model);
etc

G870A
TWRP 3.1.1 KLTE - twrp.me
I followed the LineageOS guide, and I doubt it's the wrong recovery.
The md5 seemed to match on the TWRP file as well. I wouldn't know if it would have a locked bootloader, either.

Hi,
As far as I know AT&T s5 phones (G900A and G870A) come with locked bootloaders by default which prevents your phone from installing any custom firmware. You might need a so called safestrap recovery.
Anyway I advice you to ask more about that on AT&T s5 dedicated forum:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/att-galaxy-s5/help

Reset G950FD with detection and start up issues

Recently, I reset my old Galaxy S8 and restarted it but was met with the "Only Official Binaries are Allowed to be Flashed" issue.
After a large amount of time spent trying to flash official stock firmware on, I am faced with :
"<ID:0/005> SetupConnection..
<ID:0/005> Complete(Write) operation failed."
I have reinstalled drivers as well as attempted to go into TWRP recovery which is presumably why this issue occurred.
Any suggestions or solutions are greatly appreciated.

youre probably using the wrong version of Odin. Go get a fresh copy of v3.13.1 and try it with that
and/or a fresh download of the firmware from www.sammobile.com/firmwares but id use frijas firmware download tool in all honesty, its about 12 times faster
