Has anyone gotten their 64gb from tmobile yet?
Sent from my SM-N900T using XDA Free mobile app
Not entirely true, mine had the my t-mobile app on it. I uninstalled it, and it was just the one app, but still technically bloat. lol
I have not. Ordered pretty early and am waiting on "backorder". Considering they pushed back the release one week, it is pretty pathetic that they had almost no stock and, to make matters worse, seem to have no clue when they will get them in.
I just got lucky and got a One Plus. I plan on getting a Nexus 6 sometime next year in February. Figure by then, they'll have ironed out a lot of the issues by then.
Hopefully.

I got the 32gb N6 and it did not come with any Tmobile apps, but I did download the Tmo visual voicemail. So in my case, correct, no bloatware. So glad I don't have to continually block Tmo TV app updates now.
Sad when a carrier feels the need to advertise a Nexus device with "no bloat".

Not really.. That app is quite useful and can be uninstalled. If you're going to talk about bloat ware then you should blame Google.
They include all this unnecessary apps such as Google Earth, Google fit, Google Korean Chinese keyboard, Google books, Google movies, and the list goes on and on.

Wonder if T-Mobile is finally including their WiFi Calling capability in the Nexus 6. Has anyone that got theirs from T-Mobile been able to verify? Should be shameful if not, as the iPhone does have the SW embedded in the iOS.

It is supposed to be in early 2015. I think Tmo got commitment from Google too late but good news is, it will have wifi calling in future. Just not out of the box.

It's subjective whether its useful or not. Regardless, its bloat even if everyone loved the app. And yes, as I said it was uninstallable. Not sure why mine had it installed and someone else's didn't, but either way its not a big a deal. It's not like it had all their apps, or a tramp stamp on the back lol

My point being is that if anyone is to complain about bloat ware it should be aimed at the unnecessary Google applications like Google fit, earth, movies, books, etc.
I personally find my account to be helpful since it tracks the data usage for the month so it's very helpful.
And I agree, t mobile is pretty cool for not being too intrusive with the device. And it included a nano sim card in the tray already.

I got my 32gb from T-Mobile Thursday 11/20. Walked in and they had a display set up and everything. Unfortunately they didn't have the 64gb version. They didn't even know the phone came in a larger gb version. It also came with the "My T-Mobile" app. I deleted it instantly.
I have a T-Mobile nexus 6 that I use on Verizon and it didn't come with "my T-Mobile" app.

No surprise there.....US phones that are released worldwide are ALWAYS lacking features and bonuses that the rest of the world receives

I'm sure the reason for this is the recently announced Dropbox video streaming. Now its very easy to upload all your media to the 50GB space, then stream it whenever you want without having to sync/download. It's like Google Music for videos, except it uses 10x the bandwidth.
Carriers are NOT happy about that because they can't charge you for it. Both VZW and ATT have lots of people with grandfathered unlimited data, and most who never come close to the bandwidth caps. So they are trying to prevent this.
This reminds me of when I opened my HOX and the beats headphones weren't there!

HTC stopped including Beats headphones with their phones a few months back. That's across their entire catalog not just in the US.
While this would not have stopped me from purchasing the phone, I'm pretty frustrated and feel cheated because Verizon decided to drop something that the phone was presumed to come with, and without notifying customers whatsoever that they opted out of the otherwise standard promotion.

If that's Verizon's thinking it makes me question what percentage of their customer base still has the unlimited plans. While people with unlimited plans can abuse something like this I have to believe that the people who don't have unlimited far outweigh those that do. Furthermore 50GB of easily accessible storage seems like a good way to induce people into data overages.
Not sure if anyone saw this. If you purchase a S3, Dropbox is offering 50gb of storage for free for 2 years. If you purchase a HTC One X you get 25gb of storage for free for 2 years. So you can tell Verizon and AT&T to stuff it because Dropbox is being the nice guys here.

There's little chance this decision will be reversed but we must fight.

So were pre-orders for the Nexus 7 started at midnight?
I would think there to be a tremendous difference in demand between a lame ass 7" tab and a quad core 2gb mobile phone with the latest hardware priced insanely cheaper domestically than elsewhere. Insanely cheaper, period.

Why?
Only people who follow these tech sites know about the Nexus 4 here in the UK, no tv, radio, newspaper articles have been shown.
We also get stock from a totally different country to US orders.
For the mast majority, only people who go into an O2 store will know about it, and their stock differs from the playstore stock.

What does spam f5 mean and what kind of info should you have ready?
I have already bought stuff from the Google Play store so they have all my details. I figured I would just sign in well before midnight and when the Nexus 4 became available I would select it to buy.
Has anyone bought like a device on the first day available and would like to share what happened?

Assuming you're serious, spamming F5 means quickly and repeatedly pressing the F5 key on the keyboard, to constantly refresh the webpage in hopes of it letting you order the phone
I have never heard of that before even though I have been around computers since the 70's. Thanks for the clarification.
I thinking the UK is going to be the easier place to get a midnight order done. There have been no ads or whatever as someone in this thread has already said. Also, here in the UK the majority of people buy off contract phones so this one isn't going to be that different. But on the flipside in the US there is a massive LTE network that you wont be able to access and that will cut the amount down quite a bit. I'm guessing they will sell a lot but I don't see it selling out...... unless they start running ads after they open the site to orders.
http://www.androidpolice.com/2012/1...-shipments-start-november-13th-no-pre-orders/
I wouldn't bet or hold your breath on a midnight release, but who knows anything can happen.

Indeed it does say that now. Didn't see that earlier when I checked.
Let's see if they have more than 10 for sale this time around.
Just going to hope I can score one some Wednesday coming up, and hope even more that it will work on Verizon.. Guess all I can do?! Good luck to all of us, we will need it!
Any idea what time it will happen. I'm in the Bahamas and have my friend trying to get it for me but I relay on pushbullet and they are not reliable.
So the no Verizon listing is frightening... does this mean that Verizon might have dropped the phone altogether? Or can we expect another 1 or 2 month (typical Verizon) delay? I was suspecting they might delay it because they are pushing the Turbo hardcore right now and want the Turbo to be the go-to phone during the holidays. Or (I'm hoping this isn't the case), Verizon figures the Moto X and the Droid Turbo will fill the needs of anyone wanting a stock android Motorola phone and don't want to have yet another Motorola phone.

So it arrived, everything seems normal so far. It's a Sprint nexus 6 while the listing made it appear as an unlocked nexus 6 from Google play rather than a carrier version. I'm going to try activate it and verify internals a bit later. I've been reading I should be able to use it on T-Mobile no problem, but it includes sprints ****ty hands free activation in the system partition. Some places say its necessary for use even if not using it on Sprint. Hopefully I can do more research and uninstall it or even better wipe everything and install a good custom rom.

Hardware wise, all US Nexus 6's are the same. You can wipe it and install whatever you want.
I purchased one of these and it arrived today. Came with a Sprint SIM and a locked bootloader. The phone is a legit Nexus 6. I updated to 5.1.1, unlocked the bootloader and rooted the phone easily.

This is the exact reason I ordered the Verizon version. I wanted to ensure I got Wifi calling, HD voice and visual voicemail.
A few sites have already confirmed that there is minimal bloatware that can be uninstalled. Although it might take a little longer for updates it cant be worse than AT&T that I have currently.
It will have to have WiFi calling since they run projectFi.
I want to know how updates will be handled if you have a T-Mobile sim in a Verizon pixel

I too pre-ordered the Verizon variant. Google wont allow Verizon to hang onto the updates very long anyways which I don't even care about. I am just concerned with the Verizon HD voice and Wifi calling. I also don't care that the bootloader is locked. Custom roms are buggy as hell (I know I'm on one now on my G3) and they usually break important features. I also get a free daydream VR headset which cosys $100 and the Google Store purchasers don't get anything free! Haha

Custom roms are buggy as hell (I know I'm on one now on my G3) and they usually break important features. I also get a free daydream VR headset which cosys $100 and the Google Store purchasers don't get anything free! Haha

Oh, my bad. Good stuff. Can't wait to walk around blindly breaking all kinds of stuff in the house. My wife's really gonna love this contraption! Haha. Let's see how fast this thing goes in a droor to collect dust.

The Google store version will have this available for both
T-Mobile and Verizon sims. You don't have to buy it from Verizon for this feature. Also project Fi uses it as well.
I don't think or should i say hope that there will not be that much of a delay , maybe a one to two week delay if that. I would say that google might delay the official non beta release to time more with Verizon to make it seem like they are pushing them out faster at lease for the first major update. I honestly cant see it taking that long for Verizon to test reliability on the network. since the phone will still be mostly pure android there isn't much else for Verizon to get there paws on to mess with besides the 3 apps they have on there. a few weeks will still be better then any other android out there , I think the fastest ive seen a device besides a nexus get the current android version was around 3 months or longer so anything has to be better then that lol
This could be hopeful thinking cause i ordered through Verizon

Verizon has a bad record of not delivering as promised. They also don't respect pure Android and will surely bog it down with all of their crap software. They also will take their sweet time with updates as they do with every other device, even when the manufacturer said they will be timely. All companies except apple get burnt with Verizon. Big Red could care less about what their customers want. As long as you are using their service, they got you. And with the Verizon Pixel, you have no other options. I hope I am wrong, but it's Verizon we are talking about.

You could buy it from Google store and then pop a Verizon sim in it. Then you would have the Google version on Verizon service. You wouldn't be at the mercy of Verizon that way.

I can't understand why people always say the Verizon is bad at pushing updates. For at least the last 3 years they are the first of all major U.S. carriers to push updates to LG and Samsung. Don't know about HTC as I've never owned one but my LG G2, G3 and G4 all got their updates before any of the other carriers and the same with my Note 7 for the 2 small updates it did receive. Verizon will handle the Pixel's updates just fine. They always did with all the latest flagships for years now. I think people just have an advanced hatred for Verizon for god knows what reason but I've tried every major U.S. carrier and Verizon is hands down the best. The limited data crap sucks but now it's technically unlimited but throttled after you blow through the amout you pay for. I'm more than happy to get my Pixel XL through Verizon. They always deliver and never ask questions if I have a faulty device.
