is the country version. ITV is for Italy. I'm trying to solve the problem that I have with Samsung Apps.I cant have more than one app after I change the stock firmware. In regedit (HKEY_CURRENT_USER/software/samsung/DeviceDB/1) under product code I have GT-P1000WAIKOR, I checked in a Tab with original firmware and the code is GT-P1000WAITV has it should be for Italy.I tried to change th NV_DATA.BIN but doesn't seem to solve anything.I wanted to try to restore the stock firmware via KIES but can't enter in TestMode. Now I'm going to try with an older version of kies.
Any help will be appreciated

Thanks. If you manage to fix it let me know.. I'm in your same boat (why the hell did I change my original JID!!! )
The only thing I can do, if you need it, is before flashing I made a copy of the registry keys, on windows (vista), of the deviceDB with the original JID on my tab.

If you flashed a rom with multi CSC and it's an official rom, the new CSC will be applied to your new rom after full factory reset and wipe cache partition and both the PDA and the CSC will be the same, and this is based on the rom it self
Hi all, i download a new firmware on sammobile,

I have found solution for my Galaxy Note 4 N910F in this thread - Changing Csc on S5 without root. Just make shore that the rom what you install is for your device model.

I went to service centre to seek for solution. Unfortunately they also unable to fix it, the only solution is motherboard replacement. My phone now still in service centre, hope can get back tomorrow and I will update what they have changed.
note 4
Hi bro..how your note 4 csc? Solved?
I can confirm that your EFS partition is missing or corrupted. If you lost your EFS, you don't have permanent fix. Next time when you do something on your phone... the most important part is to backup your EFS partition which contains the information about CSC and IMEI. I guess the phone put random CSC because the EFS folder was missing. That's why you flash the XME firmware it changed your CSC code to THAILAND. If you have EFS partition backed up, you can restore the partition then try flashing again the firmware. It will work. If not try the following:
Perhaps you can try this: https://www.alfredivy.per.sg/blogger/2014/03/efs-folder-imei-corrupted/
Let me know if it's working.
Note: I have the same phone like yours. I'm from Malaysia and I have full backup of the nandroid for the partition. The service center 'always' talk about motherboard repair, problem with chipset in fact this is only problem with software. At Samsung they actually have better software to restore your phone to the default state not Odin. Odin is just an ancient tool developed by Samsung and was leaked by someone in the organization.
Hi guys i am starting this thread asking for a bit of help with csc on my n910f.
I have seen a lot of single csc custom roms that i wouldnt mind trying out but i need to have a BTU csc . I asked this question on a custom rom page and he mentioned there are ways to flash a rom without changing current csc but cant find any info on that. I also wondered if its possible that if the rom has a single csc file wpuld i be able to change that file to BTU csc. If any of this is possible can someone be kind enough to help me out please. Thanks in advance.
Maybe this thread can help you.
thanks for reply I have got the btu csc he has done on the post. I cant seem to flash over a single csc custom rom. is there anyway I can put my csc into the rom .zip file and install the rom and my own csc with it?
Can you explain which steps are you following to flash roms?
Clean flash. Start with official fw. Flash twrp recovery and then flash rom. Some of the roms iv been trying to use are single csc roms not multi. Tried phone info app. Obviously cant change csc if its a single csc rom. Tried flash btu csc.tar via odin and reset rom but doesnt change if im using single csc rom. Wondering if i can change the actual csc files in a custom rom to flash my csc with any rom i need to try.
Hi everyone, so i just rooted my S20 (980F) and i was wondering how to change the csc ? i know there are some files to edit but i don't recall which.. I'm fully rooted, i just did it to change csc and go back to stock.
Hmmm. Did you try with some custom ROM because I know mine offers the ability to change it for S9+.

The title say without root, Custom rims requires root.
He asks for CSC with root.
