I used 480x480 pictures for my contacts (assigned in winmobile contacts) but seems that winmobile downscale it and then manilaHD upscale it to fit the "people" picture, so it looks ugly. How to solve?
Transfers the photos to your Touch HD and set the contact picture from the phone itself, rather than from your PC.
I wouldn't mind nicer pictures on the contacts too. Mine is set in Outlook and then synced across. Will I suffer from the same thing?
Is 480x480 the best size to use?

Probably yeah, I think at the moment you have to set them through the phone in order for them to display properly. I cannot speak from experience however, only from what I have read on here.

256x256 ( if i remember well )pixels at 72 dpi resized in pics applications like photoshop : perfect result .

Exactly. This is the size of the default Avatars from HTC, too.

Why have you created two topics BOTH with the same content?
Besides the fact you should not have created two seperate topics.... actually you did not need to create one topic....
All you had to do was a search... and even then you did not have to do that as the topic which answers your request is on the same page 1 and only one topic above your request.

Having an image appear on all the tabs is just the same as a wallpaper.
And besides.... this still doesn't account for why you have created two topics.

Actually it's not. From the Settings tab, you can select Wallpaper, but that is wallpaper ONLY for the home tab. I've seen another thread that tells how to set the home tab wallpaper to the other tabs, but it involved installing a program on your pc, and transferring tf3d files back and forth between the hd and the pc. So it's not the same. Sorry... but changing the wallpaper on all the other tabs is a **LOT** more work...

I think, but I'm not sure, that the video call cabs contain the original dialer. One of them does I think.

I have just installed the Touch Flow 3d beta 3 on my X1 and they have fixed a lot of features such as album does not longer freeze and landscape mode is fine.
But what about the camera??? then I push the camera button nothing happens.
Is Camera disabled in beta 3?

Yes and nothing happens. Funny because in beta 2 camera worked

I use Total Recall; it works well, but it's not free. Once you have it set correctly, it records both sides directly without requiring speakerphone. I'm pretty sure someone around here has implemented native call recording for the Note, though it may require flashing a custom ROM or something.

I use it on the Note. I'm not using the GSII version, I'm using the standard version. I exported my settings and posted them in a thread here I think in the Q&A forum.
I use Total Recall (Galaxy 2 version) on the Galaxy Note.
It works fine. But it is not free.
Sanity will work best, but before use it, you have to apply record MOD.
search ' recording on galaxy Note' in general section, I have wrote that thread some time before.

Me too.. But when i play the recordings its very low sounding.. even on maximum volume.. So perhaps its not adjusted towards the Gnote

That's why I didn't go with the S2 version; the recordings were too low, and I didn't want to be stuck with one version, one set of settings, then what when I get a new phone? I played with the settings on the standard version until both sides of the conversation were recorded loud and clear. The S2 version is nothing but the standard version with the settings preconfigured for the S2, then locked/removed.

I have not tested but i don't see any reason for not working.

its really good, testing it is very easy, and the automatic recording option is really good, thanks dr ketan once again, btw i failed to arabanize my phone but i found someone did it in gaffar market, thanks.
