Mobile ODIN Pro doesn't support(G900F) - Galaxy S 5 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi guys. I have searched about my problem. I did not find something about it. Here is my problem. My device is G900FQ which has the same hardware but mobile odin pro says that it doesn't support. If I flash G900F's firmware will it work?

Your question has 2 parts:
- mobile odin pro says that it doesn't support: you can use Odin PC instead.
- If I flash G900F's firmware will it work?
Why don't you flash G900FQ firmware? Install Phone INFO ★Samsung★ app > Menu > 'Firmware Browser', you can see many firmwares for your device (the latest one is G900FQJVU1ANG4).

how i can install Arabic firmware in Galaxy Tab

Hello,
i have Galaxy Tab from T-Mobile
and i want install Arabic firmware in to Galaxy Tab
and how i can unlock Galaxy Tab?
Best Regards,

Hi,
Could you tell me where I can find arabic firmware
Thanks
Sent from my GT-P1000 using XDA App
I've been searching this, and the only thing I could find was an official arabic region firmware off of samfirmware.com P1000JPJJ2 (if pass: samfirmware.com). You have to flash using Odin using this PIT P1 file and make sure you don't select RE-PARTITION. These are instructions from the samfirmware site (http://www.samfirmware.com/WEBPROTECT-p1000.htm). I havn't tested it yet, because I'm waiting for Bell firmware to come in case I need something to fall back to.
I tried to upgrade the firmware to Arabic. however the installation failed and my phone is not booting now. how to boot the phone. Thanks
Can you re-trace your steps? Which firmware did you use? Did you check or uncheck Re-Partition? What pit file did you use?
The upgrade to the P1000JPJJ2 should only be done after having you device upgraded to P1000JPJJ1 then flash the P1000JPJJ2 & noting not selecting Re-Partition
Oh I see. Then that means that he will have to flash P1000XXJHA before as a prerequeist to P1000JPJJ1?

I did not have to do this -- I upgraded to P1000JPJJ1 with re-partition on -- then upgraded to the P1000JPJJ2 with "no-partition"
I used P1000 P1000JVJJ1 ## 816.PIT .
That's because this guy is probably on a later firmware and will need to downgrade to a suitable full firmware before he can update to an Arabic firmware. You have to remember, very few of the firmware packages available are full flashes and people are all on different device versions.

Download Phone Info Samsung from Play Store.
There you can see extra information about your phone.
Also by doing *#1234# on the phone app, you can get info about your phone like PDA, CP and CSC.

Baseband Bricked | SM-N9005

Kezedy said:
Hello xda users,
today i changed from customrom (cm12 nightly) to stock GNG2 rom on my SM-N9005, because the Official Lollipop Samsung Update release is near.
I started in TWRP with fullwipe and reinstalled GNG2 with pid-file & Nand erase all. After Stock booted up, my modem did not work as usual.
i decided to reflash the correct modem and only fixed sound etc, but not the mobile network. I tried restoring EFS partition in twrp and booted stock again, but nothing changed.
Now i flashed cm12 over twrp again, because i thinked it might be a bootloader issue caused by android 5. Also restored EFS after flashing cm12, but the simcard dont work. (yes i know how to put in a simcard correctly)
The EFS is also a correct backup from my phone. I had this issue 6 months ago and fixed it by releasing the batterie for an evening.
Anyone knows how to fix this?
Thanks, Kezedy

Flash full stock firmware for your device.
What they said.....
Flash the latest stock rom for your region - I mistakenly flashed the wrong one supposedly for the UK and had no network/unknown baseband/no imei! Found the correct one, flashed with odin and it fixed it asap

I wiped the whole phone with TWRP. DONT NAND ERASE ALL in Odin3!
Then i flashed the latest original stock firmware (GNG2) over Odin3 in Downloadmode.
You also need to hardreset after flashing! Then do your first boot. S´hutdown phone and flash the latest Modem via Odin3 in Downloadmode.
That is how it worked for me finally.

Yes, according to the info show in Recovery and also the info in the Phone INFO ★Samsung★, your phone should be N900T, not N9005. Please also note that the Back Sticker in your phone is FAKE, not a original one.
However you have flashed it with another rom/firmware, so now it is not necessary to flash back to its original firmware.
You can flash with a TMB firmware for N900T, or also flash with a stock firmware for N9005.
But don't forget to flash with a appropriate PIT file (with Re-Partition option selected).

Your PIT file it's for N9005?
On Odin v3.09 or 3.10 you can try flash the Modem in this way
Put modem file on CP
download PERSIST file (on attachement) and put on AP
and put your PIT file on PIT
check the box RE-Repartition
It work fine for me :fingers-crossed:
Yes please make sure you are using the correct PIT file.

okay I'll explain you
behind the battery there is a label that reads the version of your device
if GT-N90.... I think this is a copy of the note 3 I'm not sure
For me the official note 3 begins by SM-N90 ... (for exemple SM-N9005 or SM-N900T)
if the model of your device is not SM-N9 ... do not flashed rom Note 3 SM-N9.. you can brick your device
after you find the model of your device
seeking the appropriate modem or rom in preference for your region
and if possible the PIT file version your phone
when you have found all his said we

I have told you that the IMEI Sticker on your phone is a FAKE. So you cannot rely on it.

I had the same problem with my note 3, I just reflashed it and it worked like a charm...try downloading the latest firmware from sammobile, there is one unbranded from France which was released in January 2015 and try flashing it again...also try doing a complete wipe before flashing anything
You also have the Nordic open.

Not work. I enter SM-910F / 910F but nothing found.
this is nothing but a new headache introduced by samsung, even if you have the same soc you cant flash rom from different regions. One solution to this is to use the pit file along with the regional rom which we are about to flash. Unfortunately we dont have any dedicated thread for pit file collection.

The standard Odin options and then choose the pit and check re-partition and and erase nand I think it is called. Dont have Odin befor me now but it should be named something like that. But be aware that flashing with a pit can be dangerous! Your phone can be seriously bricked so be careful!

I remember i got a similar issue with my SP GS5 with KK FWs, it was partition size not matching in my case, i didn't manage to find the the proper FW, but i found a workaround by removing the not matching partition file from the FW (it was the preload/HIDDEN image), repacked the FW and flashed it through Odin.

Did well. Doesn't help
Www.sammobile.com download the latest software for India. Download Odin 3.0.7 (Google again ) search YouTube for how to flash the software
@Ramnathe P: Help us out a little by providing the following information. Some of it may be redundant and some of it may not be needed, but it makes things easier when trying to help you.
1. Model Number
2. Android Version, found by going to Settings > More > About device.
3. Firmware Version (AP, CP, CSC), found by dialing *#1234# in the dialer or by installing Phone Info from the Play Store and running it.
4. Service Provider
5. Country
6. Is the phone rooted? (Yes/No)
7. Is a custom ROM installed? (Yes/No, and the name of the ROM)
I assume this S4 is unlocked?
