[Q] Note 3 N900 Indonesian Version

Hi The Android Experts,
I'd like to know about flashing using odin 3, can anyone help???
I really interesting in another country firmware, and I found one in thread
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2461580
But one thing I still worry, and I'd like to know,
In this thread there are separated files for PDA, Modem, CSC and Bootloader and I really scare about bootloader said warranty void 1
and I think about just flashing PDA only without CSC and Bootloader. for modem I've flashed XXUCMJ3 and work fine with indonesian CSC and Firmware XXUBMJ1. Now on the http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2461580 thread there are N900XXUCMJ6_ROOT_ODEX PDA File and I just want to flash that PDA File only, That will be a problem??? or just fine. XXUCMJ6 is for Russia at this time, and is it safe to use with indonesian CSC??? Thanks a lot.
And another question was N900XXUCMJ6_ROOT_ODEX has any changes with kernel?? or still hold the original kernel? and does this Russian XXUCMJ6 Root Odex changed my original indonesian kernel???
Thanks

You can just flash the latest omega rom mate and make sure your doing a fullwipe so you wont get any problem later. And dont forget to make a backup first incase something will happen. About the modem , if your not having any problem with signal issue after flashing the v2x then no need to flash any modem. And Feel free to check sammobile for the modem you need that base from your country/provider and download the modem/lte from here and flash it via odin .

Best thing you can do is stay on Fn5 modem then flash the latest version of Omega rom , If your having any Dropping signal issue then flash the modem base from your Provider , But feel free to flash the FNC4 modem since that's the latest one for your Country !

As far as I know you need to flash the correct ROM for your country. You'll find the lastest ROMs at http://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/
To search and download a firmware it is recommended to join for free at this website. Then search for your model "SM-N9005" and for each country the last firmware version will be displayed. You can download and flash it.

Provided that your phone is not locked to a network, you are free to install ROMs from different countries. Just make sure you choose the correct ROM for your particular device.

First your phone is fully unlocked? If yes you can use this Rom's to flash in it:
http://samsung-updates.com/device/?id=SM-N9005 - I used this site and for me was very good
http://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/1/?model=SM-N9005&pcode=0#firmware - A lot of people say to me this is the original site for rom's-firmeware of SAMSUNG...
So you need now to chose from where you want to download AND chose from what region you want to have

Yes you can flash any of the firmware which is 4.4.2, but if you have snapdragon note 3, I don't know any region when you can get fast updates But I'm not sure sometimes if you change the firmware region maybe you can lose your IMEI...
So look at me I'm from Romania and my firmware is from Europe/United Kingdom/France and I don't lost my IMEI... I don't have romain firmware because have specific apps for that operator
- To get the latest firmware for N9005, install Phone INFO ★Samsung★ app, open the menu 'Firmware Browser'. Enter SM-N9005 in Model textbox and leave CSC textbox blank. You will see a list of latest firmware.
- To check whether your phone is fully unlocked, see this thread. Tap on the code *#7465625# to check.

Baseband Bricked | SM-N9005

Kezedy said:
Hello xda users,
today i changed from customrom (cm12 nightly) to stock GNG2 rom on my SM-N9005, because the Official Lollipop Samsung Update release is near.
I started in TWRP with fullwipe and reinstalled GNG2 with pid-file & Nand erase all. After Stock booted up, my modem did not work as usual.
i decided to reflash the correct modem and only fixed sound etc, but not the mobile network. I tried restoring EFS partition in twrp and booted stock again, but nothing changed.
Now i flashed cm12 over twrp again, because i thinked it might be a bootloader issue caused by android 5. Also restored EFS after flashing cm12, but the simcard dont work. (yes i know how to put in a simcard correctly)
The EFS is also a correct backup from my phone. I had this issue 6 months ago and fixed it by releasing the batterie for an evening.
Anyone knows how to fix this?
Thanks, Kezedy

//EDIT
For all those who have the same Problem like i had, just flash this modem, which is a newer one then the GNG2 Modem.
Use CP-modem-XXUGNH1 from Androidfilehost

I wiped the whole phone with TWRP. DONT NAND ERASE ALL in Odin3!
Then i flashed the latest original stock firmware (GNG2) over Odin3 in Downloadmode.
You also need to hardreset after flashing! Then do your first boot. S´hutdown phone and flash the latest Modem via Odin3 in Downloadmode.
That is how it worked for me finally.

Yes, according to the info show in Recovery and also the info in the Phone INFO ★Samsung★, your phone should be N900T, not N9005. Please also note that the Back Sticker in your phone is FAKE, not a original one.
However you have flashed it with another rom/firmware, so now it is not necessary to flash back to its original firmware.
You can flash with a TMB firmware for N900T, or also flash with a stock firmware for N9005.
But don't forget to flash with a appropriate PIT file (with Re-Partition option selected).

Your PIT file it's for N9005?
On Odin v3.09 or 3.10 you can try flash the Modem in this way
Put modem file on CP
download PERSIST file (on attachement) and put on AP
and put your PIT file on PIT
check the box RE-Repartition
It work fine for me :fingers-crossed:
Yes please make sure you are using the correct PIT file.

okay I'll explain you
behind the battery there is a label that reads the version of your device
if GT-N90.... I think this is a copy of the note 3 I'm not sure
For me the official note 3 begins by SM-N90 ... (for exemple SM-N9005 or SM-N900T)
if the model of your device is not SM-N9 ... do not flashed rom Note 3 SM-N9.. you can brick your device
after you find the model of your device
seeking the appropriate modem or rom in preference for your region
and if possible the PIT file version your phone
when you have found all his said we

I have told you that the IMEI Sticker on your phone is a FAKE. So you cannot rely on it.
