I tried to root my Note 3 SM-N900W8 with Odin 3.07. When ODIN showed passed, I removed the cable but the phone was stuck at keep rebooting showing:
RECOVERY BOOTING...
RECOVERY IS NOT SEANDROID ENFORCING
It never showed Set Warranty Bit: recovery
I had to remove the battery to stop the rebooting. After I turned on the phone at the Download Mode page, it shows the following:
ODIN MODE
PRODUCT NAME: SM-N900W8
CURRENT BINARY: Custom
SYSTEM STATUS: Custom
REACTIVATION LOCK: OFF
KNOX KERNEL LOCK: 0x0
KNOX WARRANTY VOID: 0x0
QUALCOMM SECUREBOOT: ENABLE (CSB)
AP SWREV: S2, T2, R2, A3, P2
WRITE PROTECTION: Enable
UDC START
When I tested the phone with Root Checker whether it's rooted. The app said it is not rooted.
I tried to run ODIN to root the phone again and I ran into the same rebooting problem again.
I also cannot open the Recovery Mode screen (Volume up + Menu + power). The phone would show RECOVERY BOOTING...
RECOVERY IS NOT SEANDROID ENFORCING but nothing happens after.
If anyone knows how to fix and root the phone, please kindly let me know.
Weird..double check if the rooting file(the 1 u downloaded frm chainfire) is for sm-n900w8 only..

Simpler than flashing the rom is to just flash TWRP again via ODIN from a pc.
You will be up and running

I have the following problem and no matter what I try I can't get it to boot normaly.
The device is a SM-N9006 which was rooted with RDLV and MJ3 firmware. I put echoe rom on it and it was working fine.
A few days ago I wanted to update the firmware, so I downloaded the new echoe rom which installed through cwm nicely but after booting into it it kept hanging (not responding). Even the initial configuration had to be done in 4-5 parts because of the restarts that needed to bring it back to life.
So I decided to Flash a Stock firmware on it. Used N9006ZCUENF3_N9006CHNENF3_CHN in Odin, After restart the phone surprised me with the message:
Could not do normal boot.

At this time also didnt work so whatever I tried to boot I ended up at this message. Tried to install several CWM versions which didnt help but after installing Philz Recovery, I could get into recovery but still no luck in booting normaly.
Tried flashing N9005 firmwares which failed in Odin (which worked before).
The only stock firmwares I can use now are the N9006 ones but no matter which one I try nothing lets me boot normaly.
Tried the Download Mode entry - Cancel method, the battery, SIM takeout method. Did several data, cache, dalvik deletion, nothing helps.
Please help what should I do?

I would Odin flash a recovery and format everything on the phone before attempting to odin flash official firmware.
Make sure you are flashing the latest 4.4 that your carrier has released.

Just flash a 4.4.2 stock rom true Odin that is for you device.
Hi. Samsung Galaxy S4 GT-i9506. Tried to root/install Lollipop 5.0.1 (I had 4.2.2 KitKat).
So everything failed miserably. As it stands now, I can ONLY enter download mode with the phone and in ODIN MODE. I can connect phone to PC and use odin on PC. Can NOT enter recovery mode, it fails and shuts down the device. Only download mode through vol.down+home+power button.
I just want to be able to use my phone, so can someone explain step-by-step what I need to do to get my phone working again? Full reset or anything like that doesn't matter, I have backup, I just want the phone to work again.
It says on the screen (Downloading... Do not turn off target!!) with an android logo.
Could not do normal boot.

Flash a stock ROM with ODIN
If your first thought after a "brick" isn't "where did I store the tar for my phone?" you should probably read on how to use Odin to repair your phone and not flash things on it again...
