Hi everyOne
Here in italy is pretty difficult to obtain an official Vehicle mount dock or desktop dock for our beloved RAZR M.
I know that somebody finds that Droid 3 Docks and Bionic Docks could be suitable also for Razr M phones.
So this is my question.
Can somebody verify if the USB port in Moto Droid 4 is in the same (or very similar) position compared to our M?
Thank you very much and sorry for my bad english.

I have a Canon DSLR which is why I desperately want Chainfire's DSLR Controller app. But the description says it only works on devices with USB Host support, which the Droid X lacks. I know it's been done on the OG Droid, so can it be done on the X? And if it can, then would the app then work, or would I still need a dual-core phone? Any responses are helpful, thanks.

I am in the same boat. Would love to hear from anyone who has DSLR Controller on a DroidX working. No custom drivers?
The motorola Milestone 2 just got up to six multi touch points thanks to a magic .ko file.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1167665
My question, has it already been ported to the Droid 2? (a device virtually identical with regards to hardware.) I would be spoiled to have even three touch points but six would blow my mind. My biggest reason, I love console emulators and I can get by some control complexities by mapping buttons to my physical keyboard but I can only get so far with the laughable 2 multi touch points that Motorola has given to this device.
I have tried all the steps to the thread in the link hoping that the A955 and A953 are similar enough for that .ko file to work. The terminal emulator told me it could not open the mod. Please help.
Ill try this out tomorrow.

Hello everybody,
during my trip to China (still here at the moment ... ) I have bought the tablet PC in subject, for 150 USD.
It comes with WiFi, 16 gb, HDMI USB and ICS 4.0.3
Now, it tested it for some time before buying, for what I paid, it is OK, but I am now eager to know more about it.
The vendor's website does not tell much, even after Google Translate
suolx DOT com
Do you have any idea about how to
Understand what hardware I have
Know which other ROM I can load on it
Improve the WiFi reception (really weak)
Thanks a lot!
me too
I have bought one as well from dx.com and have no info about it
mine is S66 though sounds the same almost
agreed the wifi is the worse reception on android ive
come across.. even when you like 3 meters away
Im seeing if anyone has superuser it as it really needs
it
if anyone has succesfully rooted let me know
Hi! I did superuser it, no big problems, I found very useful the instuctions on slate droid forum.

Hey guys!
I never like to start a new thread but I thought it would be a better thing to do.. I'm frantic about USB OTG working seamlessly on my nexus 4.. Where I live, i.e., in India we just can't get the appropriate cable required for ubs otg to work with nexus 4... When I search on ebay.in the cable is quite costly, like 16USD.. And even then I'll have to buy a portable battery pack so that I can connect any usb drive with my nexus 4.. Which will be costly as well! But while I was researching about Moto G for my friend I found this in the moto G forums.. http://www.meenova.com/ Could this work?! I'm guessing probably it won't! but I'd be very happy if someone could get this to work!
That's probably a hardware issue. Since it says for the GNex that other software is required.

Hi everyone, can anyone please give me some advise on this phone and the Motorola Lapdock M500 pro, as not having seen one before I thought that the motrola razr maxx XT1085m was compatible with this dock, as it said on the Moto site that it was compatible with the Razr, Bionic and Razr Maxx, but I only have the micro sd power adapter which I assume is also the hdmi port too.
Can this device be connected to this lapdock as it clearly doesnt connect via the cable, I have read that it could be displayed via a usb mirror vision adapter, but unsure about controlling of the phone via the lapdock so that apps can be loaded etc.
Is there a way to do this or have I bought a pup and have to sell the phone which is actually quite nice.
I assume as this devise is now older and not so popular but if some could lend a hand it would be much appreciated.
Best wishes,
Thread moved to correct device forum
