Hi
I have a UK N9005 that was originally a three handset, I got the unlock code from three which worked fine, I think downloaded the latest btu firmware from sammobile and flashed using odin 3.09 again that went fine no problems, but decided I was going to return the handset so thought I'd best put the three firmware back on, so did the same again downloaded the latest three firmware from sammobile and flashed using odin 3.09 and seemed to go fine until it rebooted and then just stuck at the three logo, cant get any further now, but can still get into recovery and download mode fine, any ideas?
I tried going back into stock recovery and wiping data and cache but that didn't help and also tried reflashing the stock btu rom i'd used previously no go
Finally just got it back, noticed on Sammy mobile there was an updated btu firmware from july (the one I had was from april) im just wondering if an ota update from the btu firmware had changed something that neither the old on or the 3 firmware liked?

Hi guys,
I recently bought an S5 which was on 3 UK. I've downloaded the S5 BTU Firmware and installed it through Odin.
I then factory data reset after installing but when I connect to Kies, it's still saying that my phone's CSC is H3G. I've downloaded Phone Info and it says my CSC is BTU but the active CSC is H3G/BTU.
How do I get rid of the H3G so I can get full BTU OTA updates? I'm not sure how to go about it as I thought that a factory reset would sort the CSC problem.
Any help would be great
Thanks.
***EDIT***
Seems I found the problem. I forgot to go into recovery after flashing BTU firmware.
Went into recovery and now all is sorted and i'm on full BTU

I have the same problem with multi csc. How do you sorted it out from recovery? Also, does it wipe all data?
Thanxxx!

Upgraded from Kitkat to Lollipop. Just. Need some help rooting.
So not being very experienced at Rooting/Flashing Roms this may come across strange.
Here is a little background to my problem.
I had a rooted Note 3 running KitKat before I decided to flash to Lolipop. I downloaded the Vodafone (UK) variant of the ROM from Sammobile not thinking anything of it at the time (As I am on Vodafone) I went through the usual procedure of going into download mode running Odin as admin and then connecting my phone, adding the Rom files to Odin and then Flashing. Flashing started fine as it got towards the end it Failed on Hidden(Something).
I panicked didn't know what to do so I unplugged my device and tried to reboot. It didn't. It said something along of the lines as there is a firmware error and got stuck on that screen. Panicked some more, decided I would try to google a fix. Came across one which required me to flash CWM Recovery onto my phone. I thought I would try it, Once it flashed which went fine I was told too try and boot straight into recovery mode once the phone starts and reboot through there. I took out my battery put it back in and then went ahead and tried to boot into recovery which worked. Once on CWM I went to reboot the phone As I hit yes too reboot It took me to another screen where it said I wasn't rooted and if I would like to reroot. I decided to click NO and restart the phone. It got stuck on a boot loop, I did a factory reset and cache wipe and it booted into life. (And working fine so far)
So here is where the problem is.
I am looking to get root back to the device. I think I have a locked boot loader as I installed the Vodafone variant of the 5.0 Rom. Would I be able to Flash the BTU Rom onto my device without bricking it, and after that would I be able to root Via CFAutoRoot which seems to be the easiest way to so. Or could I flash with CFAutoRoot Straight onto this ROM.
Info:
BTU ROM:
Date Country/Carrier Version PDA CSC
2015-07-01 United Kingdom 5.0 N9005XXUGBOF1 N9005BTUGBOD2
ROM I INSTALLED:
Date Country/Carrier Version PDA CSC
2015-06-01 United Kingdom (Vodafone) 5.0 N9005XXUGBOD6 N9005VFGGBOD2
Thanks for any help in advance.
I recommend installing TWRP and flashing supersu.zip from TWRP.
Search "CF Auto Root Note 3 xda" in Google.
That's easy.
Btw i too will recommend using TWRP as recovery.

Problem Solved, Flashed to another 5.0 ROM and then rooted via the normal CF Method. Thanks for the replys.
Hello,
I had not updated the ROM on my phone in quite some time so I recently decided to update everything. I flashed an updated modem thru ODIN and then updated to some Android 5.0.1 and 5.1 roms.
I ended up having some odd reboot issues so I decided I would flash completely stock rom and go from there. I downloaded the most recent stock rom for my phone from SamMobile and flashed it thru ODIN. ODIN says passed and everything looks to have worked.
The problem is my phone will start and boot up to the point where I set up Android (choosing language etc) and then the phone reboots. This happens everytime.
Any advice or suggestions? I thought flashing stock would fix my issue!
UPDATE:
I flashed Stock thru ODIN again and it seems to be working now. I will update the post again if anything changes!
I recently picked up 2 edges a Verizon and ATT variant, I flashed the Verizon phone succesfully to G935U with this firmware http://i.imgur.com/JuIeA6g.jpg
(The 4-file link in Step 2 https://forum.xda-developers.com/ve...de-flashing-sm-935u-firmware-verizon-t3415145 )
Since that went smoothly I decided to run Odin and flash that firmware onto the ATT Edge, ( original FW is g935aucs4apk1 )
It didn't work, I recall that it got stuck at Setup Connection. So I rebooted the phone and it took me into Recovery mode, where all the CHECKS failed. So the ROM has effectively been wiped; leaving me with just the Recovery menu and DOWNLOAD screens.
Is there any way of getting my self out of this?
Fixed it. Ended up clicking Re-partition and Flash Bootloader in Odin then flashing 4-files from the T-Mobile Nougat firmware using the PrinceComsy 3.12 Odin
Not my ideal way to do this, i'm sure I've lost root potential, but I have a working phone! (w/ No xposed )

As long as you are still on bootloader 4 (and you are, since to my knowledge there isn't a higher version) you can still root your device and return it to MM if necessary. It may take some effort, but it's doable.
My device got FRP locked and so I used Odin to flash the official firmware from Sammobile and now I have T mobile menus like personal hotspot in my settings apps even though my device is the Wi-Fi only tab A 2016.
Here's how I got here:
I flashed the correct firmware, and in Odin I flashed the ap file, that's all. It succeeded but when installing updates, it said no command and went to the stock recovery. I factory wiped and rebooted.
How do I get rid of the T mobile menu's?
Any help would be appreciated
