[Q] AT&T SGS4 Failed 'Unroot'

So I've been itching to get the new KitKat update that ATT released the other day for the GS4's but since I'm rooted, I of course cannot achieve that until I roll back to 4.2 with the Odin method. The only problem is..I cant seem to figure out why my phone won't accept the flash process.
This is the info from Odin..

My phone also has some red text during the process (while its in Download mode) which says..
SW REV. CHECK FAIL : fused : 4 , Binary : 1
Not sure if that's important but the more information the better I suppose.
Anyway, if anyone has any leads or information that might be able to help me, please and thank you very much.
Cheers everyone!

Pretty sure you're on mk2 firmware and need these files http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=49687770
Thanks a bunch!
One more question, which file specifically should I be downloading from that thread?
Just making sure so I don't make any mistakes. Heh, cheers mate.

[q] i337 bootloader i9505 rom

When I go to ODIN mode my PRODUCT NAME IS I337. However when i go to the about section in settings it says I9505. The phone is from China and I have rooted it I want to install a rom on this (5.0 prefferably maybe stock). Please help out also when I try to OTA update it says AT&T and no new update while its on 4.3.
Please help
If its running a custom or none stock ROM the about section will show wrong. I would remove the battery see what it says and Odin that firmware from sammobile. Sounds like you have a i337 running international variant of the rom. If it does say i337 don't do anything above MDL.

Whatever it says in download mode is probably true. Go to the system and install terminal emulator and type getprop ro.bootloader and reply with what it says (at least the last 3 characters)

I'd say just find and flash the NB1 ODIN tar file from the general section then. Either find the thread for it or check the [INDEX] thread.
The boot loop is a soft brick most of the time you'll need to Odin it to get it to boot. I'd try MDL if it boot loops still that means your on a newer version you'll need to flash the newer tar file.

Yes, it'll update the bootloader too but you can still root nb1 and you'll still need to use safestrap as your custom recovery so no harm will be done.

Anyone knows how to solve this error? I search and i don't found how to solve this error
i got same fault... anyone help?

Not sure if I need new firmware or, maybe just a new ROM can fix the problem

I bought an S6 Edge+ for $100, could not pass up such a good deal.
The bad part is that it was from Sprint.
I assumed that the phone was simply "locked" to Sprint but, had ALL the internals to work with any carrier. It was unlocked by Sprint and after two weeks of waiting, I was finally able to use it with my carrier (Cricket/AT&T) My issues are that I can't seem to get LTE going. If I run it in LTE/CDMA mode I get fast data but, no calls. If I run in GSM/UMTS I get very slow 3G data and can still make/receive calls. Is there no way to get a LTE/GSM option up and running on this phone? I tried Sammobile, which I don't recommend, because everything on the internet seemed to say their site could fix the issue. After I PAID for a membership, every post I seemed to read said that it was impossible. I even tried to reach out to their community for help but, that post still has not made it on the boards. is there really nothing I can do?

Thanks for helping a few people out El Solido!
So yeah, I pretty much have read on Sammobile that the only Firmware I can flash, is the version specifically for my phone. I can't seem to find any U.S. cariers, they seem to cater to overseas models mostly. If you could elaborate more with the "how" and "where" part of flashing new firmware, that would help immensely.

Since every version of S6E+ have same hardware, you can flash whatever rom you want and since you are on AT&T, you can try flashing at&t firmware. I checked it is not available for download at sammobile, but don't worry i will send you firmware file for it.

See post above.
Will this firmware come with all the AT&T bloatware? Will my phone still be unlocked? I'm using the phone with Cricket Mobile but, they rent on AT&T towers. I'm definitely going to try and flash the phone this weekend. Does anyone know if the "original" unlocked Samsung Firmware is available anywhere?

Phone reads: SECURE CHECK FAIL : (PIT)
I've never had this much trouble before. I even tried three different versions of ODIN, all with NO results

First of all don't use .pit file, second can you send me screenshot of firmware files ?
I'm not actually using the PIT option. That is just part of the log errors. I've enclosed pictures to try and shed more light on what I'm doing. You'll notice I don't even have the re-partition option checked but, it shows up in log error again. I repeated these steps with ALL three different versions of ODIN. Someone suggested I try an ADB sideload of a different update but, I never cared for ADB and I'm not even sure that would help since phone is still currently Sprint software.

Since thats the problem, I suggest install TWRP and try some custom rom for your phone, most of them have all csc modes.

Hi, I just thanked you, that's a lot of good info there but quick question does the Verizon version have root available from what I've seen there is no root available for the Verizon version G928V.
The only reason I'm thinking of rooting or flashing or anything is because I want to be able to free up the bands that the Verizon version has locked out, as we know the S6 Edge Plus has all of the available van bands for T-Mobile AT&T and Verizon but certain versions have certain bands switched off. Also I want to be able to Wi-Fi hotspot tether without carrier provisioning checks..
