I'm having some trouble getting ROMs to flash TM
Details:
Samsung Galaxy SM-N900T (Exynos)
I've installed firmware:
Model: SM-N900T
Model name: GALAXY Note 3
Country: USA (T-Mobile)
Version: Android 4.4.2
Changelist: 1675747
Build date: Mon, 19 May 2014 12:44:54 +0000
Product Code: TMB
PDA: N900TUVUDNE6
CSC: N900TTMBDNE6
MODEM: N900TUVUDNE6
Downloaded from here: http://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/3/?download=29966
I've installed a Chainfire's Auto-root, which went well, and than installed Teamwin 2.7.0.1 (4.4.2) for my device.
I'm able to boot into recovery and I've backed-up my device, and downloaded a few ROMs from the Note III Exynos threads.
However when I start the installers, they just hang on screen's like: "Mounting partitions" etc.
I see the 'KNOX Counter' recovery bit issues around, but I don't care about this as the phone has a bad IMEI anyways.
Suggestions on what I might be doing wrong? I'm continuing to download other roms to try to get them to flash.
So far I've tried:
Criskelo
Installer says Android 4.3...even though the header says KITKAT 4.4.2!?
Hangs at 10% on installer.TR ROM V13
Hangs at: "Mounting Partitions"In both cases I've selected "Perform a Full Wipe" and also used Teamwin "FullWipe" prior to attempting these installs.
I see lots of talk about the modems, down-grading not being possible from > 4.4, etc.
Thanks.
I've successfully been able to flash roms for the SM-N9005 for whatever reason I didn't understand this was possible with some of them.
Some parts remain non-functional but generally it's ok.

I ended up flashing ROMs for the SM-N9005 and they worked fine (mostly) some didn't get WiFi etc.
That was before I ran into Samsungs friendly and thus-far unfixable Note 3 Region Lock
The 900T is not an Exynos device... also lucky you there is a whole forum dedicated to the 900T device.
Just go to the T-Mobile section, all roms there should work flawlessly

Samsung Galaxy S4 I9505 Original
I am having the problem of not seeing the option in Network menu to enable 4G/LTE. I am running 4.3 right now. Our service provider Ooredoo in this country (Maldives) has released 4G and several others with the same model phone as mine can switch to 4G. I was wondering if there is any fix for this. I did hear about rooting the phone and deleting a file to fix this problem. I can't find out which file. and I have already downloaded a 4.3 firmware that said would fix the problem and flashed it. But there is no change.
And I am looking for the 4.4 Official Firmware for Galaxy S4 I9505 which can be used in my country.. Maldives.
And also is it possible to Downgrade the phone back to 4.3 after I flash 4.4?? From what I know so far it isnt.
I will post more information about the phone soon. Don't have it atm.
Thanks for any help you guys can provide.

Alright so I was directed to a firmware on Sammobile
/firmwares/3/?download=27582
Model: GT-I9505
Model name: GALAXY S4 LTE
Country: Unknown
Version: Android 4.4.2
Changelist: 481100
Build date: Wed, 19 Mar 2014 10:39:06 +0000
Product Code: OMD
PDA: I9505XXUFNC9
CSC: I9505OMDFNC1
MODEM: I9505XXUFNC9
Does the country being Unknown have any effect on the firmware? The I9505XXUFNC9 firmware is said to be the international one but there is one on Sammobile that has country/carrier of Russia.
Thanks.

You have upgraded from which firmware to which firmware ?
Have you tried to do factory reset from stock recovery ?
If you are upgrading from KK to KK, the only possible way to downgrade is through ODIN flashing.
But it might not work if you have upgraded the bootloader (if on N9005 - my device), but N900P I have no idea (might work).

in that case, go to samfirmware, and download the latest firmware for N900P, and flash it through ODIN. Actually very seldom update through KIES / Software update (from device) will cause a bootloop, unless during the download, there's a network disruption.
the latest should be NC5 for SPRINT (based on your device you mentioned N900P).

Hi all,
I'm a fan of CM and been using M9. When M10 was released, of course I have updated but got issue on signal dropping. I did some research and convinced to update my modem. Using the http://www.sammobile.com firmware checking I got these as latest firmware info:
PDA: I9505XXUGNH8
CSC: I9505OLBGNH2
MODEM: I9505XXUGNH8
With these, I updated my modem to XXUGNH8 using I9505XXUGNH8_MODEM (from DXUBMG5) from http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=50965837. The signal dropping was fixed but the BT and wifi went crazy so I flashed I9505_XXUGNH8_WiFi_FIX. BT and Wifi got fixed but my phone got no sound. The result has forced me go back to my M9 which leads me to in restoring my Nandroid back up using CMW and I got my M9 again. Now with my old M9, I still got no sound to I flashed XXUGNG2 from http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2192025 but still no sound. So then, I was forced again to flash my original modem, DXUBMG5 from the same thread but still no sound.
I'm ran out of ideas what to do next, maybe install M10 again? Flash new modem? I don't have a good idea now.
Perhaps anyone can guide me.
Here are my phone's current data;
Model: GT-i9505
CM: 11-20140804-SNAPSHOT-M9-jflte
Android: 4.4.4
Baseband:I9505DXUBMG5
Kernel: 3.4.0-cyanogenmod-g433243c [email protected] # 1 Sun Aug 3 22:19:51 PDT 2014
Country: Philippines
Carrier: Globe
Edit:
I'm planning to flash XXUBMH1 based on:
"Old bootloader (no KNOX ) => you need to flash exactly the following LTE modem and no other : XXUBMH1. Otherwise, sound / Wi-Fi may break."
I have checked an I didn't found Samsung knox in my Apps. Any better way to tell if my phone knox?
Okay, it seems that I flashed the modem for phones with knox while mine doesn't have.
Hello
Since the release of kitkat I haven't been able to able update my device and I still have 4.3 version of android on my Note 3 SM-N9005.
Whenever I check for updates it says I have the latest and with kies it says the same thing or says SM-N9005 won't initialize. I heard that I can update manually with odin but I had some questions and fears:
First of all will flashing with odin trigger my knox counter and make it 0x1? I have the Knox app too and working with it keeping my secret information in it.
The other and the most important problem I have is that which frimware should I download? my baseband version is XXUBMI6, and my region (which I checked it from /system/csc/sales_code.dat) is XSI. I am a bit confused with all this stuff and don't know what to do
Thanks in advance for your help please tell me what to do.

1. Flashing the correct firmware for your device via ODIN DON'T trig KNOX counter. Be relaxed.
2. One of the best method for know your CSC (code of country) is rebooting in STOCK RECOVERY and look close the text: "Applied the CSC-code: XXX" like in the pic attached.

- Flashing the stock firmware via Odin will not trip the Knox counter, nor erasing your data.
- To find and download the correct firmware for your device:
Open Phone INFO ★Samsung★ app > Menu > 'Firmware Browser'.
The latest one will be on the top of the list.

Flashing a stock firmware via Odin will not erase your apps.
I personally doesn't face with wifi and cell connection.
A friend of mine bought a used Samsung Galaxy S4. She called me saying to look at her phone because it's acting strange (random reboots, camera crashing). Upon looking at the phone, I saw that it was running Cyanogenmod. She'd like the "normal" samsung rom instead, as she is a previous Galaxy S2 owner.
I checked the "About this phone" information, and this is what I found:
Model number: GT-9505G
Android version: 5.0.1.
Smallband version: I9505XXUGNG8
Kernel version: 3.4.0.-2809293 [email protected]#1
Build number: LRX22C
So I thought this would be a Galaxy S4 GPE. I downloaded the I9505GUEEDNL3_FULL and tried flashing it with ODIN. It kept giving me errors.
I started doubting what model this was. After checking behind the battery, this the information I found:
Model: GT I9505
SSN: -9505 GSMH
S/N: RF1D47XA37R
So, what model is this? The I9505 or the I9505G, and what would be the best method to flash a stock firmware/rom on this, and which one would I need?
Edit; after doing some searching, I think i've found what rom is currently running on the phone:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2557353
Boot into download mode. There you can find your model.
It's probably a GT-I9505 running a GPE rom. The GPE rom sets the device code to GT-I9505G. And that's how apps will see it. That's also why it shows GT-I9505G in "About" menu.
