My android keyboard reset from Swiftkey to the default one and it won't change back. If I choose a different keyboard Android Default just over rides it. Really making me mad. Anyone know a solution?
Turn out it was one of my modules on the xposed installer.

did you try switching to a different keyboard before uninstalling?
ya it still says theres a sharing issue and it cant be uninstalled
Make sure under all settings for each keyboard, that it's not set as default, if it has that option. Then open SIP change and set it to whatever one you want as default, with about a 15 second delay time, and after a soft reset, you should be fine.
SIP = Soft Input Panel or Secondary Input Panel
I have the newest energy rom and I would like to install this keyboard http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=460872
But how do I get rid of the keyboards that is already in the rom?
You cant get rid of the keyboards that were cooked into the rom, you can install others ontop of them tho
I have installed the keyboards I linked too, but I can't get the phonekeyboard to work, the one where there is abc on one key and so on. I still only have the keyboards that went with the rom. The only difference after install is the layout of one of the keyboards. And I can't find where to change the languages anywhere.
Sounds like you're using WM6.5. To change the keyboard layout or language - look here.
I could change the language, and I could also choose phone keyboard, but when entering sms there is still only full quaery (or what it's called)
I installed the touch keyboard + touch keypad and changed the immission setting in the system. When I switch off and on the keyboard resets to the default one. How can I avoid this?
You haven't posted what keyboard exactly, the rom you use, or your phone details. Can you get these and I can have a look
Hi
Is it possible to change keyboard in CM7 to phone keypad ??
it is really difficult to send message with its default keyboard...
tnx
Yes of course you can, just download one from market then go into language and keyboard settings and enable it. Then bring your keyboard up and long press on text screen and change imput method to new keyboard.
Alternative is to remove latin.ime from system apps and replace with other keyboard.
Big buttons keyboard is quite good, used it for a while but stock is more responsive and the new ics keyboard posted in apps and themes thread is awsome.

Hi all,
I've been playing around with my wife's MS2, running Tezet's CM10. I've been trying to get her phone to be able to have two seperate keyboard layouts for the physical keyboard, namely English (QWERTY) and Hebrew.
So far the only solution I've found is to use AnySoftKeyboard with the Hebrew plugin from the market which allows me to change the layout on the soft keyboard and then when I pull out the physical keyboard the layout remains as selected. Any other keyboard (stock or otherwise) that I've tried reverts back to QWERTY when using the physical keyboard, although once I shut it the soft keyboard remains as selected.
Isn't there any way to have the same behaviour as AnySoftKeyboard on the stock keyboard or even better, on Swiftkey? Or some other way of doing it?
Thanks for any help!
Edit: Posted here and not on the CM10 thread because this has been the case on every ROM I have tried...
