Please Help me !!! m Desperate !!!!

Hello to all. My name is Kushal.
I own a Cingular 8125.
ROM Version :: 1.8.11.1 WWE
ROM Date :: 11/24/2005
Radio Version :: 01.16.11
Protocol Version :: 4.0.13.21
IPL 1.xx
SPL 1.xx
I want to upgrade my ROM ... I even tried to flash it but it was giving me an error with error number 266, something like that ... I even tried lokiwiz.bat and EnableRapi.cab and then again tried to flash the ROM but again failed ...
Anyone please tell me step by step what should be done in order to successfully flash the ROM and upgrade it to WM6.
I was using Kaiser ROM for upgradation ...

ok,First,is your phone in working condition,does it load up OS or its stuck on Bootloaders (Multi Color Screen) ? Did you perform CID unlock before upgrading to wm6 ? coz without CID unlock,it won't upgrade at all.
If its working,then download WST_4.2.2 tool and verify the CID Lock/unlock status of the phone,if its still CID unlock,then get it unlocked either through 'lokiwiz 02b' or WST_4.2.2,only then flash any wm6 rom.
Secondly,if its not working and gets into Bootloaders,then download the official cingular rom and flash it in Bootloaders to recover back to its default working status and then proceed further as described above.

Buddy, my PDA is very well in working condition, and it loads the OS and doesnt stop at bootloaders ... i am able to make calls and do what ever ...
Next, my CID is unlocked ...
And now i cant figure out how to flash a ROM ...
may be i am confused or i am not able to understand the steps involved in doing so ... And can you please suggest me a gud ROM image to upgrade ...

Get stuck in Bootloader

Hi !
My P4350 got stuck in the bootloader when I stied to flash a new ROM
Active sync doesn't recognize the P4350 anymore....
IPL 5.04.0002
SPL 4.10.0000
What should I do now ????

Did it fail during the flashing process? Do you see an error message on the bootloader screen? ActiveSync won't recognize the device unless it is booted up in Windows Mobile. If you can still get into the bootloader reflash the ROM from there. You don't have to flash ROM's connected via ActiveSync; you can do it from the bootloader as well.

The only thing on the tri colour screen: is: IPL 5.04.0002 and SPL 4.10.0000
When I try to flash a new rom it gives errors, it starts for 2 seconds and than it stops with an error. (on several occasions different errors ==> one error at the time).

Post some of the error codes you get. Have you tried flashing a different ROM? You may need need to use MTTY if you get a ROM upgrade code message in the bootloader itself.

Is ur device CID unlocked(HardSPLed)?

I'm a retard. You don't have HSPL flashed to your device. This is why it keeps failing when you try to flash a ROM. The HTC SPL on your device is blocking you from flashing unsigned (custom) or CID-mismatching ROM's to your device. All you should need to do is flash HSPL and then your custom ROM. Read the Wiki for this device if you need more information.

My phone was provided by Vodafone.
I have now Telfort.
I flashed Vodafone to Canonyang.
Then I tried to put the Dutch back on it and then it got stuck in the Bootloader.
Wasn't it hard SPL than??

I've tried 2 different HSPL now.
It goes well, even says 100 % on phone AND computer but than it gives error 270 'update error'
What now...

Have you followed this? I know it works for me...

I've seen it, but where do I have to intall the 3 cab files?
Do I have to install them on the microSD card?
Do I have to put them like this .cab or do I need them to unpack them??

Copy them to your phone, install all three on your phone's memory.

Oh right. I'm retarded. You're stuck in the bootloader... Sorry just reading too many threads and getting confused. Have you tried searching for "bootloader" or "Goldcard" in the ROM development forums? There are tons of explanations on how to recover from being stuck in the bootloader.

ROM CODE ERROR, where is official rom for my s/n

tried flashing a stock ROM (RUU_Leo_S_HTC_WWE_3.14.405.2_Radio_15.42.50.11U_2.15.50.14_LEO_S_Ship) via SD card and now ive got a ROM code error and 00028002 'Not Allow" error.
the phone is hd2 eu and it still connect via usb to pc, tried to flash HSPL4 to change SPL 3.03.0000 to HSPL with no luck, tried to flash via sdcard and pc with no luck.
after looking around the site, i found that i should try the official ROM for my device but can't find where to enter the s/n on HTC.COM
my s/n is: SH08SNW02573

I had what I believe is a similar problem: I couldn't flash anything at all. I freaked out because nothing worked, but eventually I fixed it using HSPL4 to put SPL 2.08 (or whichever), then HSPL 2.08, and I could re-do the process from there.
I don't remember all I did and all I read, but what I remember is that although this solution sounded stupid because I alreay had HSPL, it fixed it.

From where did you buy this phone and what's your carrier?

i bought the phone in lebanon in meddle east, it's on alfa network and the phone in factory unlocked.
i can't find where to to enter the s/n of the phone on htc.com site.

HTC replied to my email about the s/n :
'Thank you for contacting our Customer Support Center.
With regards to your inquiry,
Kindly note that the provided serial number “SH08SNW02573” states that your device is from ‘India’. Accordingly, you need to select the country as “India” when you log into HTC website in order to receive the updates compatible to your device."
so i'll download the rom and try.

i downloaded the rom from htc/india, now the flash start but stuck on 80% with error 00018002 error updating hd2 rom.

Did you flash it via PC or via SD card?

trying from last 3 hours but cannot find useful information on this error
I used to have android on my htc hd2 before I wanted to roll back to windows so I tried to follow the steps
downloaded the rom from htc site and I found it is wrong
my hd2 is not t mobile
its model number is T8585
made in taiwan
hspl4 does not recognise the phone
gives out connectivity error
but my phone shows usb in white boot loader
when i tried with other rom it gives out 00028002 dont allow message
so if any one can help me please.......

You need to download the correct RUU or LEOIMG.nbh for your HD2.HSPL on your HD2, this means your HD2 will only flash the correct stock ROM for your HD2. I am not really sure why HSPL 4 is giving you trouble. I would find the correct ROM for the device and flash it first, then try to run HSPL 4 again. I will be monitoring this thread today so post back if you need further help.
Also please refrain from double posting threads on the same question as it is against the rules to do so.

You need a RUU that was for the carrier the de ice wad originally with and the area that the device came from. The name of the RUU file will have the information on what carrier it is for and what region it is for. Start looking through the HD2 Windows Mobile 6.5 ROM development forum to find kinks to stock ROMs as I can not find any of the stick ROMs on HTC.com. If you have s T-Moile HD2 look for the stock ROM in the T-Mobile Windows Mobile 6.5 ROM development.

I've crying for three days, last night didnt sleep... Ive flashed few roms im my HD2, my problems started when I flashed Windows Phone7, first it locked my SD card but I solved it... After that I decided roll back to Ice Cream Sandwich... Did a task 29 sucessfully and put back the ICS, and my fall down started, my micro USB port stopped working in bootloader and the phone dont charge anymore, strangelly it works through magldr as usb mass storage. That means I cant flash HSPL, Ive been trying official stock roms vis SD, 6 by now and all of them failed saying "00028002 Not allow" I dont know wich one is the correct rom... In the HTC web site cant find any option to insert the serial number in order to get the stock rom.

I have problem with this HD2 and cannot find a solution yet!
first thing first. is this a Tmobile of Eu mobile?
i tried flashing factory RUU but after 1% it gives an error saying Radio failed.
tried flash quite a few radio's but still after 100% it says radio fail.
tried flashing from USB cable
tried flashing from SD with leoimg.nbh
no luck.
the guy was using android on it until yesterday. may be he tried to flash a wrong Rom which brick the phone. now only white screen appears.
i can go to bootloader mode but no luck in flashing any thing at all.

Looks like EU model as no logo near earpiece.
if also has white markings on call & end key that would help confirm EU.
If trying to install .nbh file from SD it will overwrite HSPL so check current SPL status in bootloader.
If still on HSPL 2.08 try flashing an NRG WM6.5 ROM & see what happens (they have no radio so if completes then try radio flash if needed, try via USB them SD if USB fails.
Do you get an error code when it fails via RUU ?

the error i get is (270) and yes it have white markings on all the buttons. so its confirm EU model. by NRG rom you mean Energy Roms? i tried earlier the energy Rom but no luck. after 1% it gives error.
cannot try mtty method as i'm on windows 7 and in windows 7, it's not showing the USB port. it's radio is corrupted. i think someone must have flashed a wrong Rom.

What standard ROM have you got ? if it a 3.14 rom try connecting HD2 via USB & use HSPL4 toolkit to install HSPL 3.03 & if that installs then try the 3.14 ROM via USB & RUU.
Also eliminate simple issues such as lead & USB port by switching port & using a different USB lead.
Windows 7 64bit ? worth trying another PC & 32bit if can as WMDC drivers on 64bit can be a pain for flashing ...

windows 7 32bit. tried flashing hspl 4 and it says complete but in bootloader it shows 2.08 only. i guess gold card method will solve the problem but it's too complicated. any other suggestions?

i would search for task29 and format the phone back to virgin default then download a windows rom from htc via the downloads page on there website for the phone ,then if it works re task29 it then put android on it with the htc hd2 tool kit witch has every thing other than rom (all u need to do is task29 it then go back to the boot loader and run the ruu rom)

No do not run a Task 29 the device. I say this for two reasons, one if you flash the Stock Windows Mobile ROM via RUU the RUU will run a Task 28 before installing the ROM witch is pretty much the same as a Task 29. The second reason is that if you run a Task 29 it will remove the current ROM on the device so it will not have a working ROM anymore. If after the Task 29 you can not get another ROM installed on it the you will not be able to use the device at all anymore.

No the device is not bricked, a bricked device will not even turn on at all, no vibrations no nothing.
At jacktackle, try to find the earliest stock Rom RUU for your HD2 and try to flash it. It is possible you have what is reffered to as a stuck radio.The only fixI have seen for this is to flash a older ROM version with a older SPL version. If the earliest ROM version does not work start working your way up one version at a time and you might get lucky and get one that will flash.

Before you give it back you can find some of the old test ROMs for the EU or for the TMOUS depending on which version of the HD2 it is. Just make sure if it is a TMOUS that you do not flash a rom version that has a 51 radio with it. Just look at the RUU name and the radio version is in the name. If that does not work then the only fix will be to replace the mainboard cause JTAG would not fix the problem.
