help with my imate kjam

hi,
im a noob to this forum and pocket pcs and i think im doing something wrong but when i try to install mfrazzz's xda mobile 6 release 5 final. i its still the same old windows mobile 5
i think my cid is unlocked i followed the instructions given by farias thread.
how would i know if the cid is unlocked? i tried using mestrini's WST tool but i get an error.

Always post vital data of the phone,untill it's not known which device you have,G3 or G4,it's hard to provide with any help.Post IPL SPL of your device.
If it's a G3 then its CID locked,you have not followed the correct unlocking procedure.Read the Guide and sticky by Dr.Puttingham and follow it correctly to CID unlock the phone.
If it's a G4,then you cannot straight away flash any Rom to it,to upgrade follow the method as Sticky 'SoftSPL or HardSPL' by equinox in G4 forum.
What error it gives while usung WST 4.2 Tool ?

i have a g3, and the ipl: 1.01 (becuase i downgraded because the instructions told me to) SPL : 2.16
and the wst tool give me a "in the rexx script named : at line number :2840"
and is there a way i can change me ipl back to 2.16? cause nothing is working for me =/

ok, you got ipl 1.01 cuz you downgraded with Button's Rom 1.05 but your spl remained unchanged 2.16,its nothing to worry about,it sometimes take a little more tries to downgrade spl to 1.01,flash the Button's Rom 1.05 a couple of more times to make both ipl/spl 1.xx,only then you can CID unlock the phone with lokiwiz 02b.Follow the guide for downgrading and unlocking at the below link and do the method correct.Your phone is still CID locked,untill you get your phone CID unlocked you can not upgrade to any wm6 Rom.

But if you want to go back to your original wm5 Official k-jam Rom and have ipl/spl 2.16,then Download official k-jam Rom 'K-JAM_WWE_216901_2169101_020710_ship.zip' from official website of i-mate k-jam or from the following link below:-

1.unzip the Rom zipfile,get your phone into bootloaders screen (multicolored screen)by pressing and holding down the camera button and the Power ON button together,the phone will start in bootloaders(multicolored screen) it'll show you ipl 1.01/spl 2.16
2.when in bootloaders,connect your phone with pc via usb cable, a small usb written will appear at the bottom of the multicolored screen of your phone.confirm it.
3.open the unzipped folder of the downloaded Rom,run the RUU icon in it(double click Ruu.exe)
4. follow the instructions and flash the Rom,after completion,your phone will restart and start working.

i guess my phones SPL will not change. i must of flashed the ROM with buttons 1.05 about10 times but it still wont change .... oh well im just gonna go back to the stock rom my kjam is WEIRD haha

I have the Kjam G3 (with IPL & SPL 2.16) & wm5. I want to upgrade to wm6.1 but the CID is locked. I tried the WST tools and followed the instructions to unlock the CID but nothing happened.
Please can any body help me to solve my problem and tell me any other way to unlock and where to download the wm6.1.

Hello all cookers ! Happy new Year !!!!!!
I've bricked my léo cause i've changed my bootloader without installing Official HTC ROM...And now, i cannot made a goldcard, i cannot install Official ROM. I can just boot on SPL 1.42.0000.
I think i need an kind of bootloader with SPL 1.42.6666 to install a dump of my telecom operator.
Is somebody know this SPL ?

Go to www.htc.com, look for an official ROM, enter your serial and download it.
Start your Leo in Bootloader, connect it to usb and flash with the shipped ROM.

I already tried that but the installation stops after 1% for the INVALID VENDOR ID error.
My device came with a ROM made by my phone operator (SFR and Vodafone), that's my trouble !

1.42.6666 is SSPL. You'll need to get an official RUU for your device if you can't boot into the OS/don't have a gold card.

I've made a goldcard with an other WM Phone and I put LEOIMG;nbh in it.
I've installed official ROM with goldcard and I'M BACK with my revive LÉO !! !!

SPL locked, so you get the error!
Unlock USPL first then afterthat flash!
SPL shall become 1.11 instead of your 1.12..
follow these steps:
1) USPL your device click here
2) Flash any new rom you like click here for original shipped roms or search this forum for any other rom you like....

stuck on bootloader screen

Hi,
I have tried to flash a wiza200 that was already flashed with a manila rom, I checked that it is a G4. I used TNT.20273 Professional Wizard HTC Home FREE ROM, it seems to work , romupdate utility indicated that the device was flashed successfully but it reboots on bootloader screen. I tried to reflash it it gave the same result, I tried another rom but impossible to flash it with other roms. So I downloaded the official one from the operator O2 but I got "invalid vendor" message. I searched all the possible solutions but none of them worked( wizard love also). Is there a savior here ? someone who can give me the right procedure to follow.
initially the IPL was 2.21.0001 and spl 2.21 Olipr
now the IPL is 2.21.0001 and spl 2.21

You must replace the Update.exe with a MaUpgradeUT_NoID.exe . Found here in Forum . Look in "Blue Angel" for it. Be sure that you flash the right ROM with it . It will no ask...

HTC ELF night mare of smart mobility

Hi All,
I need your help in urgent!!!
My ELF GSM infor:
- DeviceID: ELF011000
- CID : DOPOD701
My ELF worked fine before I tried to upgrade its IPL from 1.11.0002 to 2.26.0002, then this problem occur. Because a WM 6.1 ROM requires to have IPL 2.27.0002 and SPL 2.28.0000 so I kept continue upgrade the IPL/SPL to 2.27.0002 and 2.28.0000.
I tried to flash my ELF, from bootloader mode, with these ROMs:
- RUU_Elf_DOPOD_chs_1.11.706.1B, this ROM I got from a China forum, it is my device original ROM
- RUU_Elf_DOPODASIA_WWE_1.11.707.1B_4.1.13.42_02.93.90_Ship.exe
- RUU_Elf_DOPODASIA_WWE_1.17.707.2B_4.1.13.46_02.97.90_BLUE_Ship.exe
- RUU_Elf_HTC_Asia_HK_WWE_1.15.721.3B_4.1.13.46_02.97.90_BLUE_Ship.exe
- ESSential_4_5
- Onyx_jr_4_4_2_Light
They are all 100% successfull but the IPL/SPL unchanged (2.27.0002 and 2.28.0000) and the device still loop at smart mobility, can not jump into OS.
I did try to use unbricker ROM and goldcard (with original ROM or unbricker ROM inside) but the ELF still stuck at smart mobility...
Please give me your advices, what should I do (except buying a new phone)?

First try to flash your official ROM and then try to flash ipl/spl again follow step by step. After that try to flash customize ROM again. Hope you will success.

When I flash the original ROM, 100% successful, then my ELF loop at the China Mobile screen then reset... I don't have the IPL1.11.0002 and SPL 1.11.0000, the lowest I have is IPL1.17.0002 and SPL1.17.0000. I tried to flash back the 1.17 version, after 100% successful, enter bootloader, the IPL 2.27.0002 and SPL 2.28.0000 still remain!?
Please tell me how to do!

After flash back to official ROM , enter bootloader and check ipl/spl first.
Normally, if you flash ipl/spl (not hard spl) when you flash back to the official ROM the ipl/spl will back to original. S/R - wait for boot to WM if OK then do H/R again. And flash ipl/spl again - enter bootloader and check ipl/spl again (changed or not) if OK after that I recommended you flash Onyx ROM. I used it for long time and no trouble.

I understand that when we flash the original ROM, the IPL/SPL will roll back to its original version, but mine is so strange?! Does this mean that:
- My ELF's flash ROM is fail or locked at the region for IPL/SPL so that whatever ROM I flash (these ROM contain ILP,SPL,OS,radio..) the IPL/SPL unchaged?
- The original ROM is actually not match to my ELF?? But I already flashed the other ship WWE ROM and also the unbricker ROM, they all loop at smart mobility...

How you flashed ROM ? By RUU (PC) or used microSD card. I recommened you to use RUU (PC) follow step by step. Sometime when I used microSD card to flashed ROM , it's successful but cannot boot, after that I flashed Official ROM by RUU and unlocked the phone again it's back to normal. And your official ROM, you must check with your operator or distributor because in different zone it's use diferent ROM.

I only can flash via PC RUU, I don't succeed in SD card way:
- When I copy the *.nbh file into SD card, then enter bootloader, I just can see the checking SD card content string displayed very fast, then the tri color screen.
- When I create a goldcard and copy *nbh file into it, enter bootloader, the brick ask for 'upgrading SD image', I press power button for it to start download but it hang at 'downloading from SD' with a blank download status bar.
Actually I bought this ELF from a man on my local site, so I don't know where is the distributor...I used the mtty and usb monitor to check for my device infor, then search internet for my original ROM, I only can find in a China forum that match my deviceID/CID....
For my case, I really don't know why I can not change its IPL/SPL version? Please help me!!!
