i want to flash ksa 4.4 rom released 10 days ago but i am afraid of soft bricking my phone again sorry am not pro can someone help please
thanks
I have same like that before. Csc is missing when I check with *#1234#
I just reflash the firmware and it is there.
But u can just flash csc shld be no problem.
If u want to upgrade to latest firmware just get it from samfirmware.com nd flash through odin pc.
Sent from somewhere under the sky, at the corner of this rounded earth.
i downloaded ksa 4.4 stock firmware but its just one file tar. with no csc?
and now am already on 4.4 leaked version i guess with no csc i posted my current 4.4 rom code on the last post so any help to convert to ksa 4.4 without bricking?

you can just try to reflash the firmware again.
Note 3 is still confusing me in a way. Certain way is working for some ppl, but not to others.
you have to bear in mind, flashing stock official rom from odin, won't brick your phone.
If possible, once ROM is completed (flashing is done), try to go into recovery (stock recovery which come with the official firmware), and do a full wipe/factory reset and wipe cache.
This full wipe seems to be the best way to avoid any error/problem.
So can you post your download mode snapshot to verify both applied CSC and knox warranty
for my seek
I've been told that flashing another Region firmware or changing CSC Could Trigger Knox Warranty please verify That By screenshot mention your old ROM Build Number Thank you

You can use this app to change your CSC. However, two things.
A. You need to be rooted beyond XXELLA
B. Your selected rom needs to support multi csc
( tried that before but doesn't work as its unrooted and on stock software

It should work, but you need to root if you're on XXELLA or above
Sorry not that much of a techie :silly: what is XXELLA? So it doesn't need to be rooted? Because when i press change CSC it comes up with com.android.preconfig not found on your device and takes me to the dialer with *#272*1759# already punched in?? After ringing that I get Connection problem or invalid MMI code.

Xxella would be a 4.1.2 firmware.
It would look like your stock setup doesn't have a multi CSC setup so I'm not sure if you're able to change to BTU

if I am not wrong you need:
(1) be rooted to change the CSC
(2) after that you can use the tool mentioned before and/or flash a BTU rom
or maybe easier:
just flash the newest 4.3 rom version (you can do this without root as well I think)
Flash the latest 4.3 rom for the UK, using odin and following the guide in sticky thread.
Factory reset from recovery, reboot and csc should match the firmware.

I'm pretty sure this method will default the CSC to "KOR"
You want to flash the ELL4 U.K. firmware from the stock firmware thread. Download the S2/S3 CSC changer app from the play store and set the CSC to BTU.
This will factory reset the device, so make sure you have your important files backed up.
Then proceed to flash MK6 4.3. Now everything will match.

If you flash a untouched 4.3 rom thru odin it does not void the warranty. It will read official in Odin. At least on my phone it did. Like they said earlier they should have a uk version floating around somewhere. Otherwise just leave it alone and wait for the update. I hope that helps

There's a firmware for United Arab Emirates on SamMobile, why not flash that one? Assuming with UEA you meant United Arab Emirates, but the actual region code (in Kies) is one listed on SamMobile for that country, right?
I have a G900H with THR code, meant for Iran, but there's no firmware available for that device, so I'm not sure if I can flash another country or will automatically end-up with a bricked device?

If you can get Kies to connect, it should give you 3 codes, all starting with G900H. Mine where XXXU1... HOJV1... XXXU1... I then downloaded a firmware with the same initial codes, mostly the HOJV1 seemed to matter. Followed by country code in parenthesis. Might be worth checking if the country code matches your actual country? It seems matching CSC image version (HOJV1 in my case which was available in many countries) is enough to get a successful flash.

Download and flash the official stock firmware.
You can download it from http://SamMobile.com
Before you Odin flash the firmware be sure to
go into recovery mode and do a full wipe and
factory reset.
Make sure you select the correct model of your phone
before downloading the firmware.
Then go into download mode in the phone and Odin
flash the official stock firmware.
Good luck!
This does not work. Now stuck on the same problem comming from Ne4 to NG2. Flashed NG2 with no luck.
edit:
I just think i realized what i've done. I flashed the NEE NG2, took the OTA wich brought me back to NG1 somehow and didn't get it at first so i tried to flash NG2 again. Then it started. Somehow, acording to samsung-updates and to the OTA, NEE NG1 is built later than the NEE NG2 so that's why i can't flash the NG2 again. Downloading the NG1 to see if it's ok. Will come back with the answer
It happend to me and I solved flashing last ITV firmware.

Hi to everyone!!!
I saw that many of you are having issues about the installation of the Vodafone-branded OS. If you want to install it very easily and fast, just follow this guide! You can follow this guide to install any branded OS to your G920F ONLY
WARNING: This procedure will delete all of data, however it wont trip KNOX
1. Download the Vodafone branded OS (here mirror not mine)
2. Download this pit file if your phone is the G920F ONLY
3. Open Odin and put the pit that we downloaded in the pit section and the firmware in the AP selection.
4. Start flashing
5. Voila. It is recommended to wipe the data and cache after flashing the OS to ensure the best performance out of it.
That's it. This pit file is made from @yakapa40 and make sure you press the "Thanks" button to him too.
Don't forget to press the "Thanks" button to me to for letting you know about this trick. I have tested and it works like charm!!!
No extra help will be given from me
Thanks for this PIT file, and if we want to go back to the original pit file do you know where we can find it ?
My version goes like this
1. Unpack G920FXXU3DPB8+Service+firmware.zip (Link)
2. Put the files where they say they should go (AP = AP / BL = BL ect)
3. Press Start
4. Done
This wipes you're storage so backup beforehand!
EDIT: Not sure if this trips KNOX, it shouldn't as its official firmware, but I cannot tell you as I already had KNOX tripped from the beta
