Go into bootloader mode (power+voldown and plug in the usb) wait till the driver is installed and then execute the downloaded file in the first post.

Yes , it should be on the phone .
only pre production/Demo phones can have a older/other version of this rom
but still this is interesting when there is a Hspl we can flash TMOUS on a O2 branded phone or stock HTC on a TMOUS
and yes I think that I know way you asked it , there are people that use this ruu to update there DEMO phone , the problem is that not all demo phones are stolen and xda isn't a police department.
but ofcourse it is better for people to return there DEMO phone and get a new one .

actually, I was asking because I am trying to figure out why people are all trying to flash their brand new phones that have a brand new OS on them...
I really don't care where people got their phones.
and just for reference I have the same radio but a higher firmware apparently: 1.20.015.31
Well for me I flashed it because it was freezing like crazy on me and maybe it was a bad flash that was causing it but it wasn't.

thinking the same as buru898 I reflashed my HD7 but with less luck. I got this error
FILES CORRUPTED
All of the files for your start screen have been corrupted. the only way to fix this is to reset your phone to factory settings.
etc etc etc.
when I reset the phone to factory settings, got the same result "Files Corrupted"

This new ROM works perfect for me and solve my "corrupted files" problem...
still freeze issue but, now i know isn't a software issue.
dear football. I received 3 htc from usa tmobile 16gb. the only displau language there is english. is there any way at all for me to flash it with a rom having french language in display? thanks

If it doesn't start at all: warranty (they won't be able to tell anything about flash and even if they are, you just say I didn't do anything to it and stick to your story - they'll have to prove it and that's very unlikely it will happen).

Try a hard reset first. Should correct most things an take it back to factory
Hey guys, I need some helps of you.
I need get a brick in my Galasy S for make a change whit the adicional warranty. I bought a few years ago my Galaxy with an additional warranty, this warranty says if a have some problem in my phone after 1 year I can change my phone for a new one. But my phone work good and never I had a problem.
So how can I get a brick?
I thought flash a Rom in ODIN with the LagFix activated but I'll have a good result? or Flash a Rom for the Galaxy S2 in a Galaxy S?
Or what do you think?

Well it's very simple, flash with odin an old stock ROM for your region. Than try to update with Samsung Kies, but when is like 50% or something umplug the wire => soft brick or even brick or like you said flash a S2 ROM or flash something on partitions below 8 => 100% brick

Are you retarded? Warranty is meant for people with real problems, so why do you want to brick it if it's working great!? I simply don't get it, that topic is just PLAIN stupid.
Keep your i9000 and be thankful that you got such a great phone. If you have bad luck, Samsung will send you an i9001 which is hardly supported by XDA.

If your phone is working perfectly and you're intentionally hard bricking it to exchange for a new one, then I hope you brick your phone and something goes wrong with the exchange and you are left with a brick.
Flash a s2 rom that has 4 files(pit,pda,phonr,csc) tick re partition.

I have this phone since last September and really regret that I bought it. Even though it looks like and feels like a normal 9505 or 9500 model, due to its specifications you can not use any custom rom of more common variants. (No Cyanogen, No Miui, No any other well known custom rom). Do not even try flashing 9505 or 9500 roms, I managed to soft brick my phone already with them.
There is almost zero support for this product in forums or if there is any it is in Korean language. The only custom rom I came across is TeamLeader rom, which is a cleaner stock rom practically, getting rid of Samsung's bloatware, but nothing special, same user experience.
IIRC the SHV-E300 is the Galaxy S4 LTE-A and more or less the same device as the ks01lte. So take a look in the i9506 section, there you will find some custom ROMs for your phone, some already LP-based.
I recommend arters 97's CM12, he is doing a great job on this phone.

I am feeling the same regret my friend i dont think this phone is going to get an official Lollipop update either
why do they make so much devices they can't give support to, or some phones are just labs rats experiments

Have you seen this thread? The official Lollipop-ROM for S4 LTE-A has begun to roll out, did you check if it works with your SHV-E300L?

yeah man i know that and SHV-e300l and i9506 have some notable differences like the chips (Exynos and Qualcomm) it would definetly brick my device
don't install any custom rom for now if you want everything in working order.
and If u want to upgrade to lollipop, just download firmware of another s4 with same configuration from sammobile.com

there are some reports of bricked devices after installing Firmware of another S4, suppose i bricked my device would i be able to get it working again if i installed the stock ROM again i mean can u flash a bricked device?

HI i already tried that rom. im using galaxy s4 SHV E300L..
flash via odin. the rom works well. it wont brick the device because i checked first the file. it does not have modem.bin so the device wont get problem on imei..
i just dont like the chinese characters at the top notification located in the date

That is awesome! are there any bugs? wifi games all well? good to know it is a working rom i will flash it now and hey tell me how to check if the file is ok to go and not corrupted or something
Hello, just bought a 2nd hand nexus 6p ... And I encountered some issues such as the mic where if I call somebody ... They can't quite hear me ...and then there's the camera which has focus issues... I had high hopes for this phone... I wonder if anybody can SHOw me any links or thread that might help me overcome this problem ?
P/s: I was wondering if I flash any custom ROMs... Will the problem stay ?

I would try a factory reset first. If that doesn't work, unlock the bootloader, wipe the phone and flash the latest full Google ROM using flash-all.bat. There is a guide in the General Forum on how to do just that. This is going to tell you whether your phone is damaged or not. A custom ROM won't help a hardware issue.

But the phone has never been rooted or flash a custom ROM... Its a 2nd hand phone but never been tweak before ... Do u think there's a chance it might be hardware problem ? Anyway ,, Thanks for replyinh ??
