No progress yet if any one that have done flashing any rom on this device kindly help us to do so too.
Lets keep it updated here if any thing lollipop happens
No luck
I have this phone since last September and really regret that I bought it. Even though it looks like and feels like a normal 9505 or 9500 model, due to its specifications you can not use any custom rom of more common variants. (No Cyanogen, No Miui, No any other well known custom rom). Do not even try flashing 9505 or 9500 roms, I managed to soft brick my phone already with them.
There is almost zero support for this product in forums or if there is any it is in Korean language. The only custom rom I came across is TeamLeader rom, which is a cleaner stock rom practically, getting rid of Samsung's bloatware, but nothing special, same user experience.
IIRC the SHV-E300 is the Galaxy S4 LTE-A and more or less the same device as the ks01lte. So take a look in the i9506 section, there you will find some custom ROMs for your phone, some already LP-based.
I recommend arters 97's CM12, he is doing a great job on this phone.

Have you seen this thread? The official Lollipop-ROM for S4 LTE-A has begun to roll out, did you check if it works with your SHV-E300L?

yeah man i know that and SHV-e300l and i9506 have some notable differences like the chips (Exynos and Qualcomm) it would definetly brick my device
don't install any custom rom for now if you want everything in working order.
and If u want to upgrade to lollipop, just download firmware of another s4 with same configuration from sammobile.com
I think yours is Korean and it will not get 5.0

NOt get 5.0 :'( words hurt man they really do
First of all, lets get something straight. Most people use the term "bricked" improperly. A bricked phone means one thing: your phone won't turn on in any way, shape or form, and there's nothing you can do to fix it. It is, for all intents and purposes, as useful as a brick. A phone stuck in a boot loop is not bricked, nor is a phone that boots straight into recovery mode. These are things you can usually fix, and they're a lot more common than a truly bricked phone. If your phone is actually bricked, you won't be able to fix it yourself (but there are things you can do
If Your Phone Is Truly Bricked: Take It Into the Store and Play Dumb
If your phone is actually bricked—that is, it won't turn on at all, no matter how hard you try—it's time to give up and move on. The first thing you can do in this situation is try to take it back to your carrier's store and play dumb—just say something like "I don't know what happened, but my phone won't turn on anymore" (don't tell them you rooted it, obviously). Most carriers don't have time to deal with such issues and they'll just give you a new phone. Sure, it's a tad evil, but it should work most of the time

Hi guys.
I have a Zenfone 5 A501CG with Lollipop (3.24.40.87_20151222_34) and I rooted the phone.
There are some things which I would like to improve like better battery, better gps signal, louder volume on the speaker and get signal back after I lost it (eg.: I'm in a zone with bad coberture and I lost the signal and then I go to a good spot. To get the signal back I need to reboot my phone or I will stay like airplane mode).
So I'm thinking to install a CFW. I still have warranty of phone (5 months left) but if I have any problems I can get it to stock right?
My question is: what's the best CFW for my phone and how to install it?
Thanks for your attention.
Best regards
if you wanna use cfw, you must unlock bootloader (ubl)
and if you ubl your z5, you phone may caused random freeze screen
my solution is, if you wanna use the best ROM so far, use kitkat 2.22.40.540
or downgrade to 3.24.40.60
it is most stable of the L stable..
it will solve your signal problem..
also you can root & install xposed..
Greenify & auto starts will help you with better battery life..
how to downgrade ? ?
Search this forum..
& if you like KK. 54 is the best

so far there's still no solution of this freezing problem
some people say it's motherboard driver problem
some people say it's dnx and ifwi problem
i really want have dt2w feature but to do that i must ubl my phone first
i have tried every possible way to ubl without freezing but still can't do
so i just back to kitkat because i think kitkat is still the best and most stable fw for zenfone 5

no this is a bootloader fault and nobody can fix this but you can try it and when you have freez lock bootlodaer and go baCK TO STOCK not erveryone have frezz
I think I will keep the FW I have and wait. Maybe in a near future the booloader works flawless. Thanks for your help

Just make sure you relock bootloader corectly
If you have relock your bootloader, go to bootloader n check your ifwi, if your ifwi isn't 59.a1 your z5 won't freeze anymore

no.. there will be no solution..
we have known about this issue for almost 2yrs now..
till now there is no solution..
People have tried on their own.. without any support from asus.. but no results..
and as far as I know asus has not offered any solution nor support..
but funny thing is not everyone is affected by this..
you will have to unlock your bootloader to check if you are one of the LUCKY ones..
you can always relock if you are one of us..
yes I am among the unlucky ones..

random freezing & phone brick are two different things..
& yes you can return to stock anytime you want..
before doing anything thing backup your data..
while on stock you will have to use an app to backup..
I use titanium Backup pro..
of course I have a rooted phone..
I suggest
1. root your phone
2. do a thorough backup..
3. saperately.. backup your contacts, SMS, call log..
4. move all backups to memory card..
5. move all your data from internal to external memory..
6. unlock your bootloader..
7. use your phone for 2 - 3 days..
if you have random freezing..
lock your bootloader.. & decide your next move..
for root, backup, bootloader unlock search XDA.. everything is already there..
Hello guys someone gave me this phone to repair it,the problem it s he s not booting (mmc_read) problem. The model it's in title. Sorry because i didnt searched first for other threads about this but i need to fix it fast... Can someone help me? Thanks a lot!
No one can really help you if you don't describe how it got bricked. If it was run over by a mac truck, probably not fixable. If you installed a custom rom and/or twrp and things went badly, it probably is fixable. More info needed.

There is multiple threads on xda with your issue. I know this because I had this issue myself and it comes down to 2 things
Option A its a software glitch in which case the solution is to odin downgrade to stock kit kat and see if the problem still exists
Option B which was the case in my situation its a Hardware issue, in which case you need to change the emmc chip, or what I did change the whole bord which is much easier and quicker then changing that soldered on chip
Hi guy's,
I didn't found really on the forums.
After flashing my oneplus 2 to JDCTeam_jdc_oneplus2-7.1.2-20170609-STABLE(STABLE7)-1 - Kernel 3.10.105-aosp I get some troubles with my car connection over Bluetooth.
Now after flashing I can't use my phone functionality.
The pairing is done well, but it is shown in settings from Bluetooth - the device couldn't use the phone functionality. I have tried many to fix them, but nothing works.
Any hints?
The second issue is that I can lock (pin) an app in the task overview, but unlock isn't possible with HW-keys. For unlocking I have to push and hold the task-overview and the back-end-keys, but instead release the locked app happens nothing. So I have to switch off my Mobil for unlocking.
Please let me know what I can do to fix this problem.
Flash oos again and then wipe and flash another rom
Thanks. Any suggestions for a similar ROM?

Okay. Do you mean that the another ROMs solve my issues?
... Yes of course nobody give a guarantee, but I hoped on guys the have the same issues like me and can tell me a solution inside my flashed version.
So far so good, I will consider about for another ROM, with hopes this is the only solution.
Guys, I know this is not the topic, but I do not know where to write. my g4plus bike does not work anymore nor a sensor, it stopped out of nowhere. I already did everything possible, about installing different roms or hard reset etc. Does anyone know how to solve it?
Please, post in English, not all people undestand portuguese and post the question in the right forum, this is only for guides or news, post it on the Question forum
Thanks

Best thing is factory reset and/or flashing stock fastboot rom. That's what you can try. Backup recommended!

Then consider a hardware problem. Claim warranty if possible.
There's no other solution you can do then reflashing the whole rom/firmware from start.

You can lock it again and several people here claimed warranty even with relocked bootloader. Not every repair center check the warranty. You can try it
