How long it takes to charge from 0 to 100 ?

really... takes a long time... compared to WHAT? LOL
i honestly cant speak to the Verizon version since i just got it today, but i have had the sprint version for a week, it charges AMAZINGLY fast, the battery lasts forever, and if it is plugged in i literally cant kill it, i had a GS4 slimmed all the way down so i could run Crime City and Modern War as much as possible, LOL and if it was plugged in it only slowed the battery drain, with the GS5 even stock i can have the game open watching my wars running my chat app which is a HIUGE battery drain, and playing mp3 and i am positive charging, i am VERY happy with this charging/battery life

I think after a tpt,the battery should be getting charged while the phone is off. I don't think there is need for a rom flash for battery to charge.

My phone seems to charge but in around 6 hours (2,30 before) and its look like there steps in charging: at ~10% and ~50% it stop charging (become cold) and restart a long time after.
I have tested lot of cables and energie sources but the probleme is very random :sly:

so, youre saying that your device reached human body temp only twice? i guess you have never streamed anything nor ever played any cpu intensive games on your device. well, unless you live in a fridge or you are mistaking battery temperature for cpu temperature(they are different).

Indeed it is.. but the link is incorrect. I use the paid one.
Here is the LINK
It has great features to show how many cores r running and the CPU load.. plus graphs etc. I haven't used it completely but it's rocking!

Really wish more reviewers compared phone battery usage better. The best site I found is gsmarena.com blog. Sadly they usually release battery results about a month after a phone releases. Would love to see how this compares to the s4.

Battery life much better than S4 mainly due to screen and processors. Battery life on this phone is a strength. Previous phones include S4, LG Optimus Pro and Note 2.

What was your typical on screen time with s4 vs motox?
Sent from my SGH-M919 using xda app-developers app
Moto X is the only phone I've ever had where it beats 5 hours of screen time. I'm getting an hour extra of screen time. Of course, still too early to tell. On the S4 I would get close to 4 hours of screen time on average.

If/when you are available to, can you run 1 charge on LTE only?

It's probably affecting battery so lightly that it wouldn't make a difference.
Now what I want to see is someone test the battery on straight H+ or LTE.

The motorola connect, active notifications and the secured bluetooth to remove the passlock is probably the main reasons i kinda want this phone.
But ..F ATT......damn them for getting those colors exclusive.

Today is the first full day using my phone. I get up at 3:30 am. I would consider myself a moderate user even though I'm constantly on my phone checking emails etc for work. I check my news/social apps pretty constantly through out the day as well. No heavy video or gaming. It's 5:19 pm now and the phone is at 43% battery. As an average user I have to say I'm blown away by the battery. I'm coming from a galaxy s3.

Read somewhere that it was available when the phone was switched off and charging, from the picture looks like there is a tick in the box but you are not able to interact.
So my guess is phone switched of and use the fast charger that came with the phone.
Found this, although it doesn't help you

Just a thought did you have the phone plugged into the charger at the time you went into the menus, perhaps it need to sense the charger to activate

It was off 5 the charger for 27 mins and screen on time 22 mins. Cell reception is great and I use WiFi most of the time. I use a lot off game apps like field runners and candy crusg. I did a factory reset last night and the battery is at 66 percent and I unplugged two hours ago. I've been playing like 20 mins of field runners and I froze all the bloat. I don't get why the battery is not as good? Did I buy a bad one from ebay?
