Title says it all. My camera used to work but now it always looks fuzzy. It seems like its always trying to get in focus but never gets there. I had a drop and the lens cover shattered and after replacing the cover it seems my pics all look blurry. Its not the lens cover because ive tried using the camera without it on, but I dont know what the issue could be. Could I have flashed something wrong or did the drop actually mess the actual camera up /:

Well, you said it yourself that problem was dropping so very likely drop cause some damage (but not 100% sure). Did problem start after drop or after you flash something, you should know answer to your question. Master reset should fix any software related issues.

Why does it take pictures like this. It looks like they have too much color and they are not clear. I can't find a setting to change. any input?
Looks like the camera lens itself is bad. Try this, push the lens into the phone as you take a picture. If it works, then the camera is loose. Take it to sprint for a warranty replacement.

yep, I have the exact same problem and need to push the lens to fix it. many people reported it only happening one time, but mine seems to pop back up every now and again, so I'll probably go for a replacement soon.
I really need your help on this one guys!
I unpacked my brand new Nexus 4 yesterday. Everything seemed fine until I fired up the camera app. Everything was really blurry and the autofocus didn't seem to work at all! We're not talking about some minor autofocusing problem here, but a huge deal breaking disaster...
I then also noticed that when I moved the camera really close to an object, the image got sharp! So, it's like it's in macro mode all the time or something. I've tried to restart the phone, factory reset etc. NOTHING works! The worst part is that I can't even go to google and replace it, because I live in Finland and got the phone brought home to me by a friend who visited USA... Is there anything I can do to make it work?
I also tried a third party camera app (camera zoom fx) in which there were several focusing modes, like macro, normal, auto and infinity mode. Didn't matter which mode I used, there was no differens..
Have any of you guys experienced the same problem? I know there's been a lot of talk about the Nexus 4 camera, but I could never have imagined that a brand new flagship phone would have these kind of problems right out of the box. Please help me.
This may sound a bit stupid, but you have tried simply cleaning the glass over the lens and checking it for scratches right? You seem to have tried a fair amount of things so it's likely to be a hardware issue of some sort.
Not trying to be a smart ass, but did you remove the plastic film off of the backside. I made that mistake before with a different phone. The film was barely noticeable because it was only over the camera lens from inside the cover, so I just thought the phone had a sorry camera. Otherwise, it sounds like you could have a defective camera.
Also when you take a picture, hold the button until the focus ring rotates and locks on the 12 o'clock position, then let go of the button.

Claasical case of yet another defected user.
Question,
My G2 today dropped in silicon flip case on it's back (thanks god, as it was with flip open).
Drop was from about 1.2-1.5 metters....
Phone kept working after the drop..
Anything to worry about it's internals? or from such drop nothing should happen?
Its flip case with basic silicon cover while its back is silicon cover + the flip plate.
GOOSPERY case:

Thoughts?
Thanks!
The screen will USUALLY break before interments break... So if it's all working, don't worry

If you hear strange rattling noises coming from your phone a little while from now, it may indicate that the OIS module has come loose.
But otherwise, you should be absolutely fine.

No strange noise... whats chance for ois loose from a fall down?
Tnx
I got a replacement phone from ATT and it must have had a bad OIS because that thing clicked and clicked when trying to focus and would never actually gain focus, needless to say I didn't accept it.

LG really didnt pass G2 via intensive Quality Check Control and Stress Test...?
Isnt "World's Best Phone" should go via this procedure?
Hi everyone. Today, I noticed that something is covering my front camera lens.
Do you know what is that piece covering the camera? Anyone encounter this situation?
I didn't drop my phone not even once and I tried to smack the top of the phone to see if it moves, but no luck.
P.S. The camera is able to take pictures normally.
I have a SM-N9005.
Thanks
Go exchange it... Looks like a faulty device. It could be a piece of electrical tape in the wrong position.

Looks like some sort of cover for the camera.
Maybe this site can help understand: http://www.ifixit.com/Teardown/Samsung+Galaxy+Note+3+Teardown/19209
But i think @nicholaschum 's solution will work best.

Hey you were right. Soon as i posted my issue, i thought i would watch a dismantle video and presto! It was a round rubber like washer that has slipped from around the camera.
All sorted now

I don't think they will consider to be a faulty device and change it, although I would like a new Note 3 :fingers-crossed::fingers-crossed::fingers-crossed:
To me, it seems to be a soft plastic that keeps the front-camera in position and not to touch directly the front-panel (display assembly).
So, probably they will change/remove the soft plastic
GO to your provider an request a NEW device
Do this : Contact 1st Samsung Service in your country and tell to them the problem becouse this a factory fault phone .
After you make some papers and a proove that you contacted already the samsung Service from your country , contact your seller and show him the problem
YOU MUST proove that : you did NOT DROPED your PHONE , DID NOT SHOCKED YOUR PHONE with some other things , like drop with speed in bed trow in the pillow etc etc , proove that you did not used any screwdriver , to have ORANGE WATER SENSOR in the back under the battery STILL ORANGE and NO ROOTED PHONE .
THEY WILL CHANGE YOUR DEVICE , BECOUSE IS IMPOSSIBLE TO FIX THAT IS A PART OF A PLASTIC THAT WAS SLIPPERED FROM HIS PLACE .
Hi there XDA People!
As you can see from the picture i got a translucent line under my screen.
My phone never dropped!
what could be?
any fix or i need to replace the display ? ? ?
I dont know what that is, my closest guess would be a line of dead pixels but it doesnt really even look like that, it kinda looks like its on your screen and not your actual display, could it be something under it like a liquid? Does your screen still turn on?

when the screen turns on the line is like a translucent....
I want to say its something leaking onto the display but it looks like somekind of scratch on the screen itself, you could youtube a video on how to disassemble the display and take a hands on look, its not too hard but it voids whatever warrenty you have
See the following guide on opening your phone:

I looked some videos but as you said maybe is a liquid it looks like that but never any liquid spilled on my phone as i can remember the line appeared after using a long skype video call the phone was pretty hot maybe that's the reason for the line appeared.
Anyway can i open the display just to check what's going on or i can't do that.

Unfortunately, you cannot just separate the display to clean it.. The glass is stuck to the display with an adhesive.
It almost seems like a fault in the adhesive. I wonder if contacting someone at Samsung or the carrier would help, as it doesn't look like physical abuse or damage.
