Hello guys!
I rooted my Note 2 and now I want to put DN3 rom on it.
So I did what this topic said http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2143479 .
Ok , I did this , but now what do I have to do?
"2) Go to CWM recovery via pressing home + power + volume up button at the same time.
3) Use the "Clean to install a new rom" option in Wipe Data and system.(clean installation recommended)"
well on my CWM it don't show Clean to install a new room or something.
Please help me!
I think clean to install new rom is an option in phils recovery not sure it's in the normal cw recovery

In CWM the wipe data is in the first set of options that are displayed when you enter CWM.
to wipe (format) system, you have to select Mount and Storage and then select format system.

First of all is your Y rooted?
if yes
In CWM mode u need to wipe your data as well as cache. Then install the rom.
If not
u need to root it first then follow above steps.
and if your phone is already rooted and still the rom doesnt install.than check if ur sd card has partitioning or not.if it has remove the partition and try.

FYI, rooting isn't necessarily required for flashing roms. All custom roms so far are pre-rooted.

Did you clear data/cache from STOCK recovery AFTER flashing the rom? If not, do it and check if it works.

Root your phone. If already rooted, proceed to the next step.
Make sure that you're on Stock kernel.
If your'e NOT on Stock kernel, either flash stock kernel, or open the JELLYBLASTV3.signed.zip on your pc, delete boot.img from it, and then flash the zip. In that way, you'll be able to use ANY kernel you already have.
Switch off your phone.
Go to Clockwork mode. This is important, because CWM is necessary, or you won't be able to boot up with the new Kernel.
Use the volume keys to move up and down.
Wipe data and cache
Now choose: Install zip from sd card.
Choose JELLYBLAST V3.signed.zip
Choose "yes"
It will be Installed. Now reboot your phone. First boot will take time. Be patient.
If you have followed EVERYTHING above carefully, you will soon boot up to your new rom.
Please wait until media scanning is completed.
Enjoy!!!

Before wiping data in CWM
Go to mounts and storage>check if "unmount system" is there. If its "mount system" select it and press the centre key which wil turn it to "unmount system".
Also wipe data and cache in stock recovery before going to CWM recovery.

I have the same problem and I followed the instructions on page 1 of the Jellyblast ROM exactly, also this one. After that I tried different ways with different CWM, choose an older version of the rom, reinstall Kuro Kernel after flashing Rom, delete second partition (ext2)... But I always get the bootloop.
Edit:
Solved: I made a stupid mistake. I chose on the download page the Update 5, because i thought it's the full ROM with update 5. Because of the green colour of the ROM download link, i didn't recognize that it's a link.
Recently i root my Samsung Galaxy Y GT-S5360, install CWM Recovery & install JELLYBLAST V3 ROM+Kernel but after installing this ROM i notice that my phone do not start (just repeat bootanimation again & again).
I have no idea how to fix it. I don't have any Backup. I only get into CWM Mode/Download Mode.
Please help me.
Thanks in Advance.
Sorry for my Bad English.

u must make a backup before flashing anything.
u can either flash stock rom via odin or flash any other rom via cwm by following the correct steps.

No need 2 worry. Flash original stock f/w via odin & u'll b back to normal.

No need for odin here.
In CWM go to ADVANCED option.
There select reboot to recovry something. It will take u back.
( first option in advanced )

Its gonna be of no use if the rom u flashed contains another custom kernel that has a permanent cwm..:sly:
** rooting is new for me,
nd i am a noob to root....**
Download hells fusion #63 kernel
Flash in cwm with system mounted
Select step 1 install stock kernel
You will now be back to stock kernel with stock recovery
You can now flash any cwm you like or install any kernel you like eg hells fusion #63 by doing above steps & selecting step 2
Thanks for your help guys! I've done it with Galaxy_Rohit's guide

I think Before you can flash a rom with rom manager, you will need a custom recovery.
there are a couple to chose from :
TWRP
CWM
CWM Philz Touch
The creator from the google rom rom wich you want to flash gave no specific one, so you can pick one and all three should work. i'm using philz touch at the moment.
The custom recovery must be flashed from pc with odin, if you never used odin before, you need to install usb drivers / or 'kies' first.
If you never used Odin, then make sure you read a little first on how to use it, it's simple but can give bootloops or worse if not used well.
Since you have to flash this recovery you might as well flash it from there? it's easier i think and has more options then rom manager.
turn off phone -> press volume up - menu button - power button at the same time wich will open custom recovery and from there follow the guidelines from the google edition v6 topic on how to flash it.
-> Inside the custom recovery there is an option for backup, i suggest if this is your first custom rom tryout, that you make a backup in that custom recovery before trying, like that you can't do much wrong while testing
i guess i made it ... thanks for anyone who trying to help me..
now running JB4.3 thanks before
-> owyess, those custom recoverys are for i9505, if you have an i9500 or other device, DON't flash these but get your own version at the 'original android development' threads from your device
