Trying to find an LCD/Digitizer with Frame for my phone. I can't seem to clear up whether it matters what model I look at for parts.
Looking at a bundle of parts that include LCD Screen, Digitizer Touch Screen, Front Housing, Front Facing Camera, Earphone Jack with Ear Speaker Flex Cable Ribbon, Charging Port Flex Cable Ribbon, Signal Wire Vibrating Motor and Power Button Flex Cable Ribbon.
All of these are for the N9005.
Does anyone know if these will work with the Canadian model? Alternatively I could just get the LCD/Digitizer with housing for the same model, or any US model.
nuttin?

I dont know if anyone opend their wizard up.... mine is the tmobile mda..
the earpeice does not work when the slider is closed... or halfway...
the keyboard has to be slid completly open for any sound to be heard...
i know its a loose connection somewhere in the slide.... anyone know how to fix it?...
just started happening a few hours ago.
and now neither works... only works in speakerphone... wth is going on
It sounds as if your rigid flex cable is kicking it,
However your phone speaker could just be loose. It is affixed to the front plate and not the Rigid flex board.
I would try to troubleshoot with a dissassembly.
if the main ribbon cable is torn you should replace the rigid flex board. If your speaker is loose or broken You can look on XDA to see if someone is selling one.
ok.. i just read the service manual on how to dissassemble the wizard...
i just want to get a few things straight...
the rigid flex board is the board for the keyboard right?...
ribbon cable is that big thick silver ribbon right?...
if said cable is torn... i have to replace the entire rigid flex board? or can i just replace the ribbon cable instead?
if the speaker is loose... all i would have to do is tighten it... if it is broken .. all i have to do is replace it right?...
------
im sure the speaker isnt broken.... because it was working when the slider was slid open... and not working when it was closed.

Hi there bigjoe,
where did you find the service manual for the Wizard? I have audio problems myself (the mic and speaker just died, i can´t hear anything and the caller can´t hear anything, but the damn thing rings nonetheless!) and my warranty is up. So I would like to take a peek inside!

Ok, Here are the answers in order.
The rigid flex board is the board you see in the top portion of the wizard (where the screen and buttons are housed.)
The master ribbon cable is the big thick silver one yes.
I would replace the board it could just as well cause problems.(it's not too expensive)
If it is loose re-seat it in it's place. If broken replace it.

Have your first tried hard reset?
It sound as if your master cable is or rigid flex board going, but it could simply be your speaker and mic.

Hope this helps you.

Hallo,
The backcover of my HD2 was damaged. So i ordered an nieuw backcover and i replaced. Now i have no speeker and no gps. Can somebody tell me where this is on the mailboard. Is the problem maybe the metal plates under the screws.
Please help=
There's a thread on HD2 disassembly if you search around. Check this link out though http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cL-jnUKufC4. You can see how the hardware is laid out and see what may be damaged
Check to see if your gps (white) coxial cable is loose and if your speaker is plugged in (top of the motherboard, next to the flash/camera assembly and vibrator.

I have the same problem, mic doesn`t work after a drop, I bought the flex cable of ebay, but I`m a bit confused on how to install it,
I follow some guides on you tube, but normally they require to remove the screen, and that would be very difficult not to break it,
Any help please?

use service manual, has details for dismantling http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1709378
So i bought a used HD2 so i could get rid of my Aria and do a dual boot
The digitizer was bad so i bought that as well as a new screen, replacing it the main flex ribbon that connects to volume port broke which is unrepairable and the pcb where the flex connects to the socket lid broke half way when removing the tape so dang fragile.
But the ribbon still goes in and it still closes, so the main issue is the flex ribbon with the broken volume button.
So my tech is an idiot. But i really want to use the HD2. Is there somebody that has those parts and can fix it?
I already spent $65 on the digi and screen so i feel
Yes go onto ebay and look for hd2 side volume key pcb.
It's a lengthy repair but nothing too difficult if you like electronics.

Hello all,
I bought the a display assembly for my LG G2 on Fixez (because I am new to XDA I can't post a link). My LG G2 had a small crack on the screen, the touch functionality malfunctioned so I had to fix my screen.
Unfortunately, I did not check the compatibility of the parts I ordered with the specific model of the LG G2 that I used. My LG G2 is the D802 model. I ordered a display assembly which did not work for this model. I noticed this while I already installed the new screen and was connecting the connectors.
The only thing that I could not connect is the top connector of the display assembly. The top connector of the new display assembly was too large.
It seems that this top connector is too large. It does not fit on the top left part. I googled on which part of the phone I need to connect it too. It's called: the Dock Connector & Headphone Jack Assembly.
So I thought the following: If I change the Dock Connector & Headphone Jack Assembly to a D801 model. Will the display assembly AND the dock connector&headphone jack assembly (which are D801 models) work on the rest of my LG G2 D802 model?
