Ever since update 4.4.1 (then 4.4.2) after leaving the house where its on WIFI. The mobile data doesn't come back online automatically, I have to turn it off and back on.
I have heard that a fully factory reset will help.... but I dont want to if I can avoid it. Any Ideas?

Factory reset dont void ur warranty. Only let ur phone like the first day when u bought it (without the apps u installed). If u wanna do it simply:
- Go to Apps > Settings > Accounts > Back Up and Reset > Factory Data Reset > Reset Device > Delete All/Erase Everything.
Please remember to back up any data you want to keep first! In the Factory reset screen you also have the option to Backup My Data and Auto Restore. These are good options to tick before you Factory Reset if you're not too sure how to do this on your own.
Press the THANKS button if I helped ya

Make a factory reset. The easiest way to perform a Factory Reset on your Samsung Galaxy S4 is from within the menu settings:
Settings > Accounts > Back Up and Reset > Factory Data Reset > Reset Device > Delete All/Erase Everything.
Please remember to back up any data you want to keep first! In the Factory reset screen you also have the option to Backup My Data and Auto Restore. These are good options to tick before you Factory Reset if you're not too sure how to do this on your own.
The first battery cycle after update to 4.4.2 was normal. Now I am also affected by this battery drain problem. I'm running a
complete Stock ROM, Un-Rooted. Can some one give me a fix for this ? Samsung is lame. They either don't give us an update
or give a very bad one. :crying: Need some help very badly guys. Please.
1. Make a data backup of ur Internal Memory
2. Factory Reset ur phone (Settings > Accounts > Back Up and Reset > Factory Data Reset > Reset Device > Delete All/Erase Everything)
3. Recover your data of the step 1 to ur phone and install the apps you had before
4. I hope it helps ya :highfive:

I'm not rooted, so I cannot take a nandroid. I don't mind losing my applications if the
factory reset can actually give me a solution to the battery drain. Is it a tested solution ?

After rooting gt i9500 with cf auto root the camera is not working properly. When i open it and i try to take a photo the touch buttons won't work, it will only take a photo if i say the voice command ¨shoot¨, but touching the screen won't do anything. Also the gallery isn't working. Any suggestions?
Thank you.

Problem Solved!! Camera Working now after factory reset. Thank you very much!!!
Hello there, i've looked up the forum but havent foung anyone with a similar problem, which I was hopping it was going to be general.
I updated my note 3 from kit kat to lollipop yesterday, which was working just fine after the update. But around 3 hours ago I could not get a signal from my carrier, even though everyone elses phone was working just fine. So i tried rebooting my phone and after it restarted 80% of my apps werent there. I have only a few apps now but most of my downloaded apps are simply not showing, although it looks like from the storage windows that my data was not erased. Even though they are not showing in the "downloaded apps"" section I would have way more free space if they were indeed deleted.
Even stock apps are broken. Like my goodle services are missing and a lot of those stock apps that come with your phone and you cant delete are not there. PLus all my contacts are lost, my messesges are gone, but I have all my photos. This is really weird.
Another informations is that Im currently not using an micro sd memory card, so All my stored information and apps were running on my 32gb memory within the note 3 itself.
Ill reply as soon as I can to any questions or useful information.
I have tried rebooting it a few times and looking up online to see if anyone else has had a similar problem. If anyone can help Ill be very gratefull.
Thank you all in advance !
more information
HI, another usefull information is that whenever i reboot my phone theres a black screen that says "android is upgrading.........starting apps" then after a few seconds it goes to my lock screen but still a lot of my data is missing.

This happened coz you didn't factory reset/Wipe data the phone when you installed Lollipop. Do it and your phone will boot normally.

Yeah better. Copy all your internal data to your pc (music, photos, contacts are linked to your google account). Factory reset your device (Settings > Accounts > Back Up and Reset > Factory Data Reset > Reset Device > Delete All/Erase Everything) and take a look how your device works.
