[Q] [HELP] i9500 camera not working properly - Galaxy S 4 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

After rooting gt i9500 with cf auto root the camera is not working properly. When i open it and i try to take a photo the touch buttons won't work, it will only take a photo if i say the voice command ¨shoot¨, but touching the screen won't do anything. Also the gallery isn't working. Any suggestions?
Thank you.

Please help fast.

Are you using any custom Rom?? If not there is an option in settings to reset your tablet to Factory Settings. Settings> backup> factory data reset. That will bring your tablet back in the state were it was in when it was new.

Mobile Data Not Reconnecting

Ever since update 4.4.1 (then 4.4.2) after leaving the house where its on WIFI. The mobile data doesn't come back online automatically, I have to turn it off and back on.
I have heard that a fully factory reset will help.... but I dont want to if I can avoid it. Any Ideas?

Factory reset dont void ur warranty. Only let ur phone like the first day when u bought it (without the apps u installed). If u wanna do it simply:
- Go to Apps > Settings > Accounts > Back Up and Reset > Factory Data Reset > Reset Device > Delete All/Erase Everything.
Please remember to back up any data you want to keep first! In the Factory reset screen you also have the option to Backup My Data and Auto Restore. These are good options to tick before you Factory Reset if you're not too sure how to do this on your own.

I'm not rooted, so I cannot take a nandroid. I don't mind losing my applications if the
factory reset can actually give me a solution to the battery drain. Is it a tested solution ?

Wipe all in recovery and reflash the firmware (HERE).

could you give me the ling for the original 4.3 firmware?
Don't know if my problem is related, but I've flashed two different kitkat-based ROMs to my i9506 (running on an android 4.3 image obtained from the i9506 dev forums), and I always get the systemui crash whenever the screen goes to sleep, refuses to wake up, and forces me to pull the battery and reboot. Everything else before that works fine; I did a clean install of the custom ROMs, managed to go through the setup phase fine after booting up etc. Things only go down the drain when the screen gets turned off. Already tried clearing all the caches, doing factory resets etc but nothing seems to work! Anyone know a fix?
