are you talking about F2FS.
yes it is possible for our device just need to build a kernel with f2fs support added and also a custom recovery to format it to f2fs.

Yeah, I thought it was a flashable zip
Maybe next week or so, I'll give it a shot, but no promises though since I have never compiled anything before

ya u r right i just forgot
2.3.2 wouldn't restore backups, but now it's fixed in 2.3.3. It just needs a few things worked out before i release it.
Big issue is the jb api that TWRP 2.3 uses. Some older zip files like kernels or patches won't flash. You have to swap out the update-binary in those zips.

I'm really glad we have a dev in EU ( or close enough ), my hopes for CM for the S4 mini were very low as the S3 Mini didn't get any love.
Big ups arco!
in his g+ account there is a screenshot of cm10.2 thats great, i hope dual sim users could get it too
btw: what means the "CM" ? Custom Made?

Perhaps a noob question. Howver, can those files be flashed or something?
you need a little experiance and knowledge to do this.....
otherwise you can bricke your device
bricke = damaged, dead, no funktion any more, only use as a hammer or a brick in a wall....

used to have a HTC bravo, some knowledge available. Flashing the HTC only required root and a custom recovery. The ROMs came as a zip file which could be flashed via the recovery. Is the procedure similar and we just have to be patient until a zip file is created?

this is only the source code, if its ready you can compile it eather your self or download the rom, made by the dev but its useless to download these files if you dont know how to create a rom
so i guess we have to be patient until the rom is available?!

Miui8 based on android 6.0.1 for g920f

Hey,my dear friend,I flashed miui8 rom for my g920f, first introduce this rom is from a Chineses romer names Graceox who made it,it patches with g9200 this model, and I flash it with arter97's for note7 grace ui kernel, and it can boot into system, everything works fine except fingerprint and mobile signal,I found mobile signal isn't working fine, the signal appears and then it disappears, then it appear and it disappear, just do this loop,I think this is the problem of kernel,I hope someone can make a suitable kernel for g920f,thanks in advance!I am soory for my poor ability to make this rom perfect,so I hope gifted brother can solve this problem.I shared it with Mega , hope it can be solved as soon!
Important:
This is an alpha version, you can just experience it,it can't be used for a long time, because it needs time to solve existing problem. If you
want to flash this rom, first you must use custom recovery like TWRP,download this rom to your phone, after dong this, press power button, home button and volume down together, the phone will get into recovery mode, press "Wipe" button, then press "Advanced Wipe",check Dalvik/ART Cache,System,Data, and Cache, next swipe to wipe,go back to recovery home, click "Install" button, find directory where you put this rom, choose it,swipe to confirm flash,no other mods, you just flash this rom is ok.

Still, let users be able to read, what it's all about.
And maybe letting them know, that it won't boot on TWRP without modifications.

Probably it's a kernel or modem problem. If a dev work on it, the rom is more less stable for daily use. Just those bugs.
can you provide the topic link, not the link of the forum?

srry if wrong section , looks like this method can work on all android versions ,i will ask the devloper you told me about and see what he would say
There are different ways to do this. ramdisk or in /system . I want to do this for booting twrp on locked devices soon. I just waited because I had the hope unlocking would be possible by patching aboot but that seems to be not so I will start the alternative method.
