used to have a HTC bravo, some knowledge available. Flashing the HTC only required root and a custom recovery. The ROMs came as a zip file which could be flashed via the recovery. Is the procedure similar and we just have to be patient until a zip file is created?

this is only the source code, if its ready you can compile it eather your self or download the rom, made by the dev but its useless to download these files if you dont know how to create a rom
so i guess we have to be patient until the rom is available?!

You should go to the "Ideos X5 U8800 Android Development" section here on xda..
yes this phone can be rooted easy with z4root and there are some custom ROMs out already, like the b160. CM6.1 and CM7 has been booted but not everything is working yet, soon i hope

Overclocking can be done with setCPU, but first you need a rooted phone and an overclock kernel, there are some in the Android development section here:

As the multiple forum sticky topics suggest, it's always a good idea to use the search facility to find what you're looking for.
Rooting is easily accomplised using Super One-Click Root.
You'll need to install the Clockwork Recovery Mod in order to install any custom ROMs.
I, and many others, use Stockwell's B160-based Custom ROM, with great results.
Very straightforward, but you do need to make sure you follow absolutely every step of the process precisely, and always triple-read everything before you do it.

concerning the "best" support site, i would say HERE..
if not now, it will be sooner or later..

I managed to boot successfully.
1. Mount data and system from CWM.
2. DO NOT wipe anything. Eg: data, cache, etc..
3. Flash the zip.
4. Reboot.

I guess no. So we sould change bootclasspath for cm in init.rc on stock kernel but we maybe work cm in this device (only CM 10 4.1.2 because frameworks are same)

Specs are same in both. So ROM can work on S7392 but only single SIM. I will add systemui patch for S7392 and Can yok try it?

CM 12.0 for Galaxy Tab S 8.4 (klimtwifi/SM-T700)
This build is based off of the cm12.0 branch on github, found at https://github.com/CyanogenMod/android_device_samsung_klimtwifi . Its an unofficial build, not supported at all by CM directly. I built it for myself, but I like to share. Please do not post bugs/requests for this rom on any official CM forum or site. And, I am not a developer nor do I pretend to be one. Im one of those guys who knows how to read a guide and can follow simple instructions. Anyway, flash this ROM at your own risk. Im pretty sure that its stable enough for daily use, as I am using it myself, since about the 3-09 nightly. If you guys can benefit from this build, I will keep posting nightlies on here for you.
