Would anyone be able to help out and post the modem files for the SM-N900V or a link?
I have been searching high and low for them. I have a SM-N9005 picked up while I was in the Philippines but I need to swap out the modem drivers to get this thing to work properly with VZW here in the states.
Thanks in advance!

I believe the VZW Note 3 needs root first to have the modem files extracted. Or if the stock Odin file is made available.

That's what I figured but now that root is up and running maybe someone can help me out.
I'm running the SM-N9005 with the root and I used TelInfo to switch it over for LTE/CDMA just need the modem drivers to get this thing online.
Thanks!!
This is for odin to get you to stock.

Yeah since there is root now someone should be able to extract the modem stuff. I was also thinking if it would work on VZW because of the frequencies. I'm not totally sure on this but I'm sure someone might know.
here's the latest stock firmware i found on sam mobile. I uploaded a copy to my dropbox.
MK1 for us wifi p600
use odin to flash
https://www.dropbox.com/sh/za3p2rfrhobzvp0/9umpI6NL3a (CF Auto root tar file)
https://www.dropbox.com/sh/1gnsk1ocrlo1j12/RN5GuoiR10 (MK1 firmware tar file)
Thanks for this.
I have to ask, but why the hell does your copy show as 2.1 gigs in the drop box link you posted but when I went to sammobile I found their copy to be 1510 gigs . Something ain't right. Recommend NOBODY download EITHER files until a good explain at'on for this difference is presented, Not trying to call the OP's rep into question, but this needs to be addressed right away.
Mine is extracted

I took the firmware from Sam mobile, correct at 1.5 compressed.. It downloads as a zip. I extracted it, which gave me 2.1 gb

6K fair Enough just had to ask , as something didn't seem right . Why post the extracted file though?
Is this the 3rd OTA update, or are we expecting a 4th one now and you are just posting it early?
I don't know which update it is exactly. When everyone was carrying on about new update I went searching. I had rooted via cf auto root and yes it trips knox. I'm not concerned about tripping it. I wasn't able to get the download, must have been doing steps wrong. I had factory reset after Odin back to stock and wouldn't even check. someone else posted a mention of mk1 so I went and downloaded.
on why I put extracted version, I just didn't know any better. sorry...flashing and all the varies things I've become to understand somewhat I'm still not 100% proficient.
I believe most are on mj4, which was what I had previously.
hope it helps whomever.

just look in the dev section for this tablet.... i think that people need to be asking chainfire if they can re-host/mirror his file... there's more than enough bandwidth to go around to download a 10mb file for the auto-root
and to the OP.... i didn't mean to come across as a ****, i just found it very odd that the file was much, much bigger than the original one. fair enough that it was unpacked.... just found it odd, and i wanted to throw out a warning, just in case there was something more going on
but yes, once unzipped, you're correct, it's about as big as the dropbox said it was.... so fair enough
for future reference though, if you're going to post a link to a big assed file like this, keep it packed up, if not for the people downloading it's sake, but also for the fact that it uses less of the bandwidth and thus more people will get a copy before the limit kicks in, or before someone starts getting charged or whatever happens.... just saying, much more convienient to have the file as small as possible, and also helpful and nice and reassuring to have the MD5 check out with the original and/or the file just look like the original
Sounds good. I usually don't post links but will take the advice.
For cf auto root just download from chains post. I'm not trying to step on any toes.
I think the best links I posted are for the sam mobile that as time goes on people can update per themselves.

Just to be sure, if you flash this through odin, your entire device will be reset right?
I did not experience a data wipe at all when purely flashing. to avoid possible issues, you could factory/reset prior to updating. Just my own opinion. If you flash it via odin, it will remove root, but your knox will still be tripped most likely.
I only did a factory reset because I thought If I unrooted and went back to.mj4 I'd get the update but I was not so lucky as it still said modified on checking for update. This is what lead the look for mk1 software.
I flashed via ODIN, mk1 then ODIN flashed cf auto root then ODIN flashed TWRP then ran titanium back up and I was good to go.

Also an FYI, don't flash Dark horse inverted apps yet. I failed to pay attention to Deodexed only part. which caused me to re Odin the 3 steps again....don't be that 1, I already was for you...

I would run the MK2 or NAE tar file from the development section. It will restore your phone to factory setup. However it will install the Knox bootloader. It's likely the easiest path.

Here's the MK2 TAR 4.3
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2601443
And the NAE TAR 4.4

As long as the device has a clean ESN with Sprint the buyer shouldn't have any problem activating service. This is the case whether it's rooted or not.

You might try downloading again. Could be a bad file. Perhaps try an updated version of Odin. Don't know off hand what's noted in the thread. Check the thread for similar issues too. Sammobile has the tar files too, if you want to try another source.

I'm not 100% sure I know what the pit file is? I tried Odin version 3.9 I believe, it's the latest one, and I tried version 3.5. Both with 2 different downloads of MJE. And also with the latest kit kat NC4, which I know I lose root with.

I just keep getting fail every time. That or I'll get md5 binary invalid. I've tried renaming the zip files cause I read if you take the md5 off the end and rename to. Tar it would work but it still fails.

I should probably mention the one thing I did do was I kind of used kingo to unroot it thinking it was going to factory reset it afterwards or at least give me the chance to, but all it did was say root was removed. I was still on the leaked NC2 build though so that's when I started trying Odin and the firmware zips. Idk if this could be reason why? Like I said I am in download mode but my info reads as follows now... PRODUCT NAME: Sm-N900v, current binary:Samsung official, Knox kernel lock 0x0, qualcomm secure boot enabled, write protection: enabled.Udc Start, Unsupport dev_type.
