Would anyone be able to help out and post the modem files for the SM-N900V or a link?
I have been searching high and low for them. I have a SM-N9005 picked up while I was in the Philippines but I need to swap out the modem drivers to get this thing to work properly with VZW here in the states.
Thanks in advance!

I believe the VZW Note 3 needs root first to have the modem files extracted. Or if the stock Odin file is made available.

That's what I figured but now that root is up and running maybe someone can help me out.
I'm running the SM-N9005 with the root and I used TelInfo to switch it over for LTE/CDMA just need the modem drivers to get this thing online.
Thanks!!
This is for odin to get you to stock.

Yeah since there is root now someone should be able to extract the modem stuff. I was also thinking if it would work on VZW because of the frequencies. I'm not totally sure on this but I'm sure someone might know.

Does anyone have this? I can't seem to find it anywhere. Thank you

It seems to only install via OTA update.
crawrj said:
There is some kind of write protection of security that locks the modem down. I have tried 100 different ways of installing the modem and can't. It looks like the official installs are the only ones that work. So right now the ota is the only way to get the modem. But I am sure we will get it figured out in time.

I flashed an international firmware on a Sprint S4, not knowing that it breaks root and custom recovery. I also lost my 4G. I can fix everything except the 4G. No idea how to begin, any idea?

Well you can begin by going to Sammobile and download the carrier's stock firmware. Flash it via odin. Stay on stock until you figure out how to fix 4G on custom roms.
Good luck, Im sure you'd be able fix it by flashing stock rom
Have you tried fishing the Sprint modem?

Sprint Modem? Can you go a bit more in detail please?
Indie offers an "EnableLTE.zip in the i9505 Omega Thread
This maybe fix the problem, OR AT WORST BRICK YOUR DEVICE
Honestly i have no idea if this works, so be careful.
Indie or another skilled person should know of this fix the LTE bug on your Sprint S4.

The modem is part of any full firmware and is usually different for each provider, region etc.
I believe the US lte frequencies are different to most of the other countries so if you don't have the correct modem your phone may be looking for the wrong frequency.
Try this link: http://www.rwilco12.com/downloads.php?dir=Files/Devices/Samsung Galaxy S4 (SPH-L720)/Modems
Flash the .tar file in odin in the phone section.
Edit: just remembered when the first ipad to have lte was released in Australia, Apple and resellers got into big trouble for marketing it as lte/4g. This was because although it was lte it didn't actually work with Australian lte frequencies. So as I mentioned above you will need a US modem. That's my best bet to get it going again.

Flashed it successfully, yet no 4g. Could it be that I need to flash a different firmware?

Your sig says you have an i9505. Your info says you are on Sprint. And...you are asking about a Verizon ROM in the AT&T forum. Wow.
Might need to clarify a few things before you can get some help.
Oh wow haha lol. Funny story here. I recently switched from sprint (about a month ago). Never bothered to change that to att I guess lol. Second, I'm running goldeneye 8.0 so I guess that's a build prop thing by Tapatalk

You just need to fish the T-Mobile compatibility module right after flashing the rom.

Flash the rom
then flash your att loki kernel, should boot just fine....no converter zip needed. Btw, what converter zip are you talking about?
I sent emails to Johan Nenzen a few days ago and asked him to update the firmware for our device. That guy is really cool. I looked this morning and it's on the site to download. I know this tar will be legit because he told me that he gets them directly from Samsung. Go see for yourself.
Does anyone have a PIT file that will work with this tar? The PIT file I've been using does not work with this tar. Does anyone know why?

Sprint CDMA
I downloaded the file.
Installed per instructions.
Saved me 2 days of frustration and I learned allot.
I am running it now after really screwing up my phone putting non compatible versions of roms and bootloaders (is that correct) together.
Blessings

Do you have a PC? The VZW installation software has a repair function as well and will completely wipe and reinstall latest stock version. Took me about 20 mins or so to do when I botched a root attempt. Hope this helps

Does not work with custom roms/safestrap installed.
Nobody else has help? I am surprised a community as large as this one has no help.
You will need to remove SS completely and it should work after that. Strange it didn't work for you. Have you tried the emergency recovery in kies3?
