Hello all users of Galaxy tab P1000 (new and experimented ones)​
this is a collection of the most important information you should know about your "at least" 500$ Galaxy tab (as I have paid for mine here in Algeria)
here my friends I am not willing to say that the manuals are my own creation, its the fruit of collaboration of many people from many forums, all what I have done is exporting treads in PDF pages and MHTML
a great manual was created in this forum http://forum.lowyat.net by "benny888" so if you press the thanks button here then you should thank the author too!
the contents of the RAR file are 3 folders :
the first one > Galaxy tab flash guide (a very good guide to update your tab from FROYO 2.2 to gingerbread 2.3.3 or if you like to complete the procedure in the manual, visit overcome site and get all the new tools to upgrade your tablet to overcome 7, personally av stopped after updating to gingerbread, so I didn't use the overcome patch etc...)
the second > galaxy tab maintenance (some documents explaining how to open / what is inside galaxy tab and the cost of galaxy tab parts etc, read this just to know more about your gadget)
the third > galaxy tab manual QnA (in this folder you will find many precious advice about using your galaxy tab, thanks to Benny888 for this thread)

Hi to all, I just wanted to ask if there's anyway I can get or download the latest 4.4.2 kitkat for p1000 by terenceng? I'm trying to download the rom by clicking the link posted by terenceng but it seems like it doesn't exist anymore. I really want to install the rom in my device. If there's anyone here kind enough to share a link or email me the file, it would be deeply appreciated.

What version of ROM Cooked i Can Install? how i can know what type is my GS3 ?

If you have a TMO US version then you can not flash a i9300 rom. I think the European TMO GS3 is the same as the i9300. You have to check your model number in settings about phone. You can only flash i9300 roms if your model number is a i9300

Then yes, you will be able to flash any rom in the i9300 forums

Only N8000 and nothing for 8010 yet

Can The Moderators Split these Forums please cause is so much confusion Between N8000 and N8010,all i see in here is N8000,just need to open one for N8010 so we know what updates and Rom's we getting,thanks and Happy New Year

I cannot see why they should split it.....
Firmware that works on the N8000 does work on the N8010 & N8013 also.....

A simple identifier in the title would help. There's not just the 8000 8010 but also the 8013 and 8020
So a bracketed identifier would be nice to letter everyone one the device variant under discussion

The devices are functionally identical so all the tips and how to's are the same. It's really just a matter of reading the content of the various posts. It would certainly help if people were more specific but with multiple languages spoken in this forum that's sometimes a challenge. None of the forums for previous Samsung tablets were split so it doesn't make sense to split this one.

Not entirely identical. There's some features on the 8010 that don't work using the 8000 roms.

As to the OP the first two pages of Development cover three model builds with a total of 21 roms .
One third of those roms state 8010 in the title .
But we could do with a faq stating the differences in the model builds .

Hey I am New To Galaxy Y Forum However I Have A Wildfire S And I Rooted It And Installed Roms On It But Samsung Has A Different Process To Do That. My Friend Has Galaxy Y Duos And I Rooted It Today He Wants To Install ICS So Here Are Some Things Which Are Confusing Me
1 I Have To Flash CWM Every time Whenever I Am Going To Flash A Rom Or Just 1 Time
2 Which Are Standard Steps To Install A Rom
3 Do Stock Kernel Is Needed To Flash A Rom

Its not a hope bro. Its a confirmation reply from SAMSUNG MOBILE ARABIA. It will be available in this March end in UAE region. Hope all other regions will be released soon
