Changed ICS rom to SHW-M380S(Korean tab ver.)

why korea tab's rom isn't release...
So I change a build.prop

down the file and follow
1.download the file and unzip!(first I want to make zip file for MOD but...Its hard to me sorry!)
2. copy or move the file to /system
3.fix permission 644
4. reboot.
Samsung didn't updated Korean tab' firmware....

hello is this a Ics rom? I have m380w will this work for my device. Also how do I install it if it works. Thank you so much

It looks more like an add-on for the UK ICS.
You flash 박찬호 file in CWM after you install UK ICS.

just changed build.prop

It's for SHW-M380W
change the file name to build.prop and paste to /system and fix permission 644 and reboot.

Just download ICS rom from sammobile.com and put the rom to odin.
And change the some file, like build.prop...

[Q] Question re version of phone which I have

Apologies if this may sound like a silly question.
I have an international version of the S4, the jfltexx version. I then flashed it with Jamal's 4.3 GE ROM.
Is my device considered i9505G now?
I'm asking as I've experienced a lot of problems flashing CM 10.2 roms using the jfltexx version of TWRP.
I'm thinking of switching to the jgedlte version to see if my problems will be solved

No. You now have an i9505 running a GE rom.
If you have the international version then best to only use international Roms.

So i got confused... and besides, there are quite a number of rooting apps that I have been using, they report that my device is not supported (although I am quite sure it is since it's listed on the play store that they support i9505... so this leads me to suspect that my phone is now operating as an i9505G?)

The rom changed your build.prop to i9505G. You can change it back with a build.prop editor, I use the one in Rom Toolbox.
Apps look for your model number in your build.prop to check that your device is compatible, as yours has been changed its tricking the apps into thinking you have an i9505G.
Your phone ain't changed, it's still just an i9505

Thanks! But in terms of custom recoveries and ROM flashing, does the build.prop matter? will it result in errors in installation etc.?
I'm asking as i've been having alot of problems flashing CM 10.2 using TWRP meant for i9505.
I've yet to try flashing through the TWRP meant for i9505G yet.

Galaxy S4 Logo then vibrates, then off

i have new galaxy s4, only used 7 days then coming like this, when you power ON the unit it vibrates first then display the Samsung Galaxy S4...then turns OFF direct..
it goes Odin mode, i have flashed it by the latest firmware 4.3 but cant go recovery mode...anybody can help me, appreciated...thankss!

WHICH model do you have?
WHICH ROM was installed originally?
was it rooted or not?
WHICH version of ROM have you flashed?

I9505 is model
i flashed it with I9505XXUEMKE_I9505OLBEMK3_I9505XXUEMKE_HOME.tar
i dont know whats the old ROM or version i just flash it with 4.3 i got from sammobile but same problem...
not rooted...stock all, just 7 days used

Take the battery out (5-10 sec) putted back , quickly power + vol up go to recovery reset from factory , and wait a few minutes .

You have the i9505 no? This is a Qualcomm chip, not Exynos.

NEW SIII Mini (Value Edition) with 4.2.2 (GT-I8200)

I haven't paid much attention to my SIII mini since i bought my LG G Pad but just noticed a new SIII mini model with 4.2.2 already available for download.
Tried to find info about this new SIII mini but couldn't find much and i have to go to bed
Well, new SIII mini (SIII mini value edition) with 4.2.2.
I wonder if we could use this firmware?
The firmware is available on samsung-updates.

those idiots from samsung arent able to deliver one update to SIII mini so they rather made twenty new versions of sIII mini well thats realy useful for us users unles samsung will change ours sIII mini for new ones...

n9005 baseband unknown after update to 4.4.2

Hi All ,
i have sm-n9005 with fake s/n RF1DA2ZHDH i cant find it on Samsung Kies , after update from 4.3 to 4.4.2 baseband unknown ,
i try any think , flash a lot of modem and EFS partition flash with 5 file on odin and also try this file ( Brick_Loop_FIX_afterRestoringBackup )
but still the same , and my ram show 1.72GB,
i dont remember what version had install on it before update .

I would blank out your imei from that photo. Some less than friendly people can steal it for bad things.

one week ago someone posted similar problem but he bought a note 2 on ebay and he thought buying note3
this +fake s/n and I become suspicious.....and with 1,72 Go it can be a note 2
I read n9005.......but who knows
