[Q] porting cm10

can I use a ported version of cm10 to port another version of cm10 ? there is a cm10 for galaxy y but it is not full can I use it as a base to port the cm10 from another phone
You must ask developer for permission :]
I don't think you need to ask a dev to port a port.

He should always ask before porting too ..
It's morally correct to ask but he doesn't have to it's cm

If you're talking about this rom as base, then NO !, it is not possible to port CM10.
To port,
You ought to take CM9 as base. But I've already tried doing that.
Taking CM9 -> Base
CM10 (Galaxy Mini) -> Ported
It didn't boot , even with Hell Fusion JB.
SO,
My point is that , it useless to PORT CM10.
Better compile it via sources , or I think whitexp had also complied CM10. You could ask him to upload the files and give it to you , so that you could try fixing it.
AND,
If you try porting or compiling CM10 , it'll have the same bugs like whitexp's CM9. You'll stuck like that, unless Broadcom releases sources for ICS/JB also.

[Q] downgrade 4.1 jellyblast to original gingerbread in samsung galaxy y

I have samsung galaxy y S5360 and installed jelly-blast v-3 in it.
It is awesome and working properly without any error and any problem
but I want get back my original version android 2.3.5 gingerbread.
can anyone help me out.?
details of kernel and base-band is here :
base band version is S5360DDKJ2
kernel version is 2.6.35.7
Didn't you back up your Rom using CWM?
Sent from my GT-S5360 using xda app-developers app
To answer two points jelly blast is gingerbread - it just has the info Modded to say 4.1
You can either flash any other custom rom via cwm following the instructions on the Rom thread
Or go back stock 'original out of box' rom by flashing it via odin from the instructions on dokys thread
yeah its only writen in the buildprop, when needet i can write i have android 8,lol and why the hell you will get back to 2.3.5?we have 2.3.6 a long time????
anyway as markus sayd just flash latest odinflash firmware from doky73 and than flash next custom rom when needet, thats better.
retro android device!!!!

Y do people do that he's obviously new which means he didn't know what those words means
Anyways
Jellyblast does not change your android version your android version is stored in a editable file meaning you can simply edit that file and your phone will display a different android version without having the necessary underlying changes the actual android version that jellyblast is on is 2.3.6 so I guess u can call it downgrading in that regard anyways to do this you'll have to flash stock Rom using odin the explanation of that is here

Re: [Q] :highfive: Ready to test any ROM!
1: This is the wrong forum.
2: This clearly isn't a question so it doesn't need [Q] in the title.
3: No-one cares if you're ready to test ROMs. So are a lot of people but at least the others have the sense to actually go and try some ROMs rather than make a pointless thread.
4: As mentioned above, this is a pointless thread.
5: I've got no idea for this so I'll refer you to the picture below...

[Q] Why can not I touch the Android logo on the Welcome to GT-S5360 the show?

Excuse me ...
My Galaxy Y user and want to change ROM. Now I've got it and have already installed it, but why can not I touch the Android logo on the Welcome to GT-S5360 the show? At Galaxy Y, I was asked to touch the Android logo is there and there is no response. Whether it is always there and what's the solution?
One more question, how to do Flash ROM in CWM? I now want to change Custom ROM used with other ROMs, but m confused me to replace it.
I apologize if there are mistakes because I use Google Translate.

Its a million time answerd qstn.. Flash latest cwm and latest 4.4 rom. Its easy as that. You will get the detailed procedure from the respective threads.. Its not fair to create a seperate thread for this. You could have use qna section instead. By answer to yr query, i am no way encouraging your attitude
