How would it then turn on? Can you please instruct me with steps? When i take out the battery whats after that ?

Power on normally, holding the power button
Sent from my MB525 using Tapatalk

Wait,wait,wait...........
So i:
1)Take out the battery from back
2)Power on using the vol up button. How would it turn on without battery?
3)......... idk what to do

It won't turn on without the battery, so put it back, press volume up and then power button
Sent from my MB526 using Tapatalk

So i take out the battery then hold/press the vol up button, then put battery back in while holding vol up button? then hold vol up button then without releasing the vol up button i hold the power button? for how long?
Hope im not asking stupid questions

You can just search for a video guide. Although your current understanding is correct. The time to hold the volume up button is till you get to the boot loader screen ~3 seconds
Sent from my MB526 using Tapatalk

Will this load my to bootloader 9.10 but with no error? Just a simple bootloader? ~~~YES~~?
If yes then doesn't work my computer won't detect my phone even the motorola driver, anyway you can help with that?

Maybe you should be able to flash from the error screen itself! Use admin mode and latest rsdlite and drivers, as per your system
Sent from my MB526 using Tapatalk

Im sorry what is admin mode and how to enable it? and i have tried to connect it from the error screen to my computer but it wont detect my phone.

Which os do you have on the computer? If windows vista or higher, right click on rsdlite and click on run as administrator
Could you reach the BL screen? Try the instructions I gave or a video guide

it worked for me with the same error
1/ install the latest phone drivers on your computer
2/ run rsdlite on your computer (don't connect your phone)
3/ on your phone : hold volume up then powering up
4/ when your phone is in the bootloader, connect it on your computer
5/ rsdlite should recognize your phone after few seconds
6/ flash a stock rom

Do i run rsdlite as an administrator?

Basically, thats whats going on. I've followed instructions on various threads, tried everything. The phone simply will not boot into recovery no matter what I try. Is there anything left I can do?
Let it sit for a day and try again. It worked for me many times in the past. Sometimes Odin would recognize my phone that wasn't even in a download mode.

try to odin back to stock
1. Start Odin
2. Plug USB cable into pc
3. Power off the Phone.
3. Pull the Battery.
5. Plug USB cable into Phone.
6. Press and Hold: Volume UP + Volume DOWN + Power, all at the same time.
7. Re-insert the battery.
8. The phone will power now, when the screen starts a cycle of going to a BLACK screen, release ONLY the POWER button.
9. When you see the download icon release the volume buttons,
10. Odin back to stock by putting the PIT file into the appropriate area and the .tar in the PDA area.
Or try that same method without holding the power button, just the volume rocker (up and down) when plugging into usb that works for some ppl
The vibrant is tough to hard brick so keep trying

You are not doing it properly. First of all make sure your phone is powered off. Then press the vol up key and keep pressing it. Then press the power key. Do not relese the vol up key till you see the bootloader.
you seem to be pressing vol-.
you have to press vol+ and then power on button or press vol+ and battery insert

To use the RST, you must use the Vol + button. If done correctly the motorola logo will not appear.

All started when the Defy began to restart on the startup MotoBlur screen, I went into recovery mode (vol-) and restore the original settings, but continued with the same problem. I tried to install via RSD Lite the Froyo rom, the Defy booted and stopped on the screen where need to enter the MOTOBLUR account, but he came back to restart.
After I entered the bootloader (vol+) with the rom JORLA, started normally and the screen to set up the account MOTOBLUR he restarts (again) with the same problem. I removed the battery to enter the bootloader to put Froyo rom again but no longer entered the bootloader, I tried the recovery menu and also failed. I put the charger and nothing, stay on the screen with the M in the center, it blink and does not leave him, I put in the USB but a white light turn on and the computer does not recognize anything.
I don't know what I do.
Sorry for my english ...

I've a similar problem on a NEW Motorola Defy...
...can't go in Bootloader!!!
I've pressed Power and Vol+ BEFORE insert battery and doesn't work!
Recovery Mode works but I can't use RSD Lite to flash (is possible without recovery???)
My phone is a Defy Mini with red lens, 600 MHz CPU (so it isn't a Plus) and 1700mAH battery (like Plus?).
Is a italian phone branded by TIM (Telecom Italia Mobile), maybe they made some "lock"?
try this:
start and set RSDlite with your favorite sbf
than conect the phone in OFFMODE
if the RSDlite see your phone (something like this"S Flash 3630)
start flash the sbf
if not, try to charge the battery(could be empty) and try again
if even so RSDlite not see the phone NOW you have a problem
good luck

Hi!
Sorry it's my first question here on XDA forum.
I have a Defy with CWM, and Stock ROM. Can I use format system partition, and then flash a Custom ROM from a zip file in CWM? Or should I use just wipe data/cache, then flash a Custom ROM? Which is better?
Thanks

First: You posted in wrong thread, this thread is only for that defy's not going in locked on M logo and no recovery & bootloader. 2nd: You don't need to format system rom, because cwm wipe it while flashing ROM zip. Just wipe data/cache/dalvik and you'll fine.
Has anyone saved this problem ? i`m into the same situation...
Try monkey method - hold volup + power and when insert battery. Helped for me once. If this method will not help try this - 1.remove phone battery from defy, 2.plug charger to socket ,but not in the phone, 3. Holding volup button plug charger in phone without battery, 4. It should enter in bootloader but with blinking VATTERY LOW. CANNOT PROGRAM, 5. put battery in phone, 6. Reflash with rsd lite. If above metods not helping - still moto logo - mainboard fried, when only one solution - service center. Good luck.

[Q] Can't access phone after using 'adb wipe all'

Hi, I have a HUAWEI IDEOS X5 U8800 and I used the command 'abd wipe all' which worked but had some errors towards the end.
After that I switched on the phone and all it displayed was the HUAWEI logo and getting into a boot loop. The phone won't also go into recovery mode by pressing volume+ and power button.
On Pressing volume+/- and power button the phone gets into update mode (pink screen) but can't access it via computer using a usb cable.
Thanks for your concern, I appreciate it.

The pink screen appears only when I press both volume + and volume - buttons together with the power button.
But when I press volume + and power button to get to recover nothing happens, it just displays the HUAWEI logo and gets into a boot loop.
Don't press power button, let USB start phone.

Solved!
Download the latest gingerbread, then find a MicroSD and another phone. Use the other phone to copy "dload" to the MicroSD then put it in your phone hold Vol+ and - like updating again.
That worked for me :-D

[Q] Full Bricked Defy+?

yesterday my defy+ started to freeze and rebooting itself, I was on stock gingerbread. I tried to wipe data/cache on stock recovery but it always freeze. I tried a many times reflash sbf but nothing solves, on one of these attempts rsdlite stuck on 0%, after that the phone wont boot up, only black screen, not even the white led shows up. I can't get to bootloader or recovery...
When I connect the phone without the battery the white led lights momentarily but rsdlite wont detect it. I'm sure there is battery power, last time with rsdlite it was on 50%...
There is any method to revive this phone?
I think you may have flashed a sbf with a number lower than stock. Unplug the phone and pull the battery. Whilst plugging battery back in hold the volume+ and power key then flash a SBF from a later time.

I think I hard bricked my 727

I've had my US model 727 Pro 3 for a month or so, and all was pretty good. I got the bootloader unlocked, rooted it, but was having trouble with the filesystem remaining read only, so I couldn't make build.prop edits and xposed showed that it was running, but the modules weren't doing anything. So, I finally figured I'd start over from scratch, wiped everything using the AIO toolkit, and flashed TWRP again. Now my phone won't boot up at all. No vibrations, nothing but a black screen whether I try holding just the power button, power plus volume up, down, or both up and down. Any suggestions, or am I just SOL?

I used adb/fastboot to manually flash TWRP, then the device went dead when I tried to reboot from fastboot into TWRP. I can't get it to power on at all now. I tried following steps I found in a thread on fixing a hard brick with the Qualcomm QIF tool, and it seemed to recognize the phone, but still didn't get it to boot.

Tried that. Tried holding down power for over a minute, tried holding power + volume down for a minute, tried power + volume up for a minute, even tried holding all three down for at least 30 seconds. Nothing. The only indication I get that the device isn't completely fried is when I plug it into the myth desktop while running the Qualcomm diagnostic software, but I can't get it to boot up with that program, either.
