ICS for AT and T in february

In addition, this update seems just for Samsung Galaxy S II and Galaxy Note international version. Meanwhile, the operator version of both devices will get update Android 4.0 ICS in different time, like Galaxy Note for AT&T that’s reported to get it on February 19th.
Update Android 4.0 ICS will brings something interested for Samsung Galaxy S II and Galaxy Note. According to the reports, it will improve the functionality and user interface, even though still using Samsung TouchWiz UI. So, be patient to wait Android 4.0 ICS for your Galaxy S II or Galaxy Note.

Wow, that's some really bad English on that site. And some misinformation too, as the 19th February is the release date for the AT&T Galaxy Note, not the day it will recieve the ICS update.

+1,preorder yesterday and in stores the 19th.

Maybe I am wrong but I tought that the ATT GNote has already Ics when it will release on 19th of February, no more Gb but just a supposition

Jelly Bean updates by Samsung for SGSII, SGSIII, Note and Note II

This weekend we tweeted about Android 4.1 updates for the Galaxy S II, Galaxy S III, Galaxy Note and Galaxy Note II.
Let us explain what Samsung will do and how far they are at the moment.
Galaxy S III
The test firmwares for the Galaxy S III are passed and they are working on a public version of the first Jelly Bean updates for the Galaxy S III.
The wait is on the public version and the agreement of Google:laugh:.
Galaxy S II
Samsung is still testing Android 4.1 for the Galaxy S II. The first tests are looking fine. Because the Galaxy S II is still selling very well will Samsung update the Galaxy S II to Android 4.1.
If Samsung decides in the last moment to not update the Galaxy S II, all Galaxy S II owners will get a value pack update. But till now there is no reason to not update the Galaxy S II to Android 4.1.:good:
Galaxy Note.
For the Galaxy Note it is the same story as for the Galaxy S II.
Tests are fine but there is still no official words by Samsung.
Galaxy Note II.
The Samsung Galaxy Note II would be showed at IFA 2012. The test software is currently based on Android 4.0. Our insider isn’t sure if Samsung will introduce the Galaxy Note II with Android 4.0 or Android 4.1.
If Samsung decides to use Android 4.0 at launch, an update to the Galaxy Note will be available a couple of months after.

Why are they stupid? Software shouldn't be restricted to newer hardware. There are hardware upgrades but the current 10.1 hardware is very capable of handling all of the new features in the 2014 version. People will buy the new one for hardware and design enhancement and people who don't own the older version will still buy the new one. Not stupid in my book.

OT, but speaking of updates when are we going to receive the next one? My Samsung Apps updated themselves, but no OS updates in a very long time.
Other than that, I too am curious about Air Command and what changes the new Snote will bring as I rely heavily on Snote and think it's a great program.

There are plenty of hardware changes that will differentiate the OG from the 2014 version. Software wise we should have a similar experience, with the exception of processor limitations.

We already have all of these features on Note 10.1... Quick command does every single one of the features except global search which is pulled strait from S Voice handwriting input. You can add contacts and phone numbers everything in Quick command... funny thing is it was c gimmick on Note 10.1 1st Gen and these will be more of the same as its just Quick Command in a different UI

I think the old Note 10.1 will be updated directly with Android 4.3 with the features of Note 10.1 2014 probably at the end on Q4 or maybe Q1. So yes, the air comand feature should be available also on the old Note 10.1. Question is , how many of you will be using it ?

For example, when a user in the US swathed from T-Mobile to AT&T, he/she have to pay $9.99 and request new sim card from the carrier to activate the new phone. Till now T-Mobile parent Deutsche Telekom, AT&T, Orange, Telefonica, Vodafone, and others have agreed with Samsung to take forward this e-sim card adoption program. The carriers which don't agree with e-sim card program will be left behind. Many details about this exclusive facility will be revealed in coming days.
Galaxy S7 features 5.4 or 5.2 inches Super AMOLED display with 4K resolution. Galaxy S7 Edge is the curved variant of S7 which features dual curvy edged display. The upcoming flagship from Samsung may also feature flexible body that can bend like LG G Flex. Samsung will release Galaxy S7 in both Exynos and Snapdragon variants.
