Problem upgrading to Artemis

Hi, I tried to install the Artemis Touch 4.02 Full with 4 sided cube ROM on my HTC 3301 (same that 3300) but when I try to install the mobile has restarted when the bar progress stay on 3% and don't work... please help me, my mobile don't work more, and I don't know what to do!

3% is a classic... did you use uspl first? In this case it means that you have to perform step1.bat first, then step2.bat. Make sure step 1 went well, then try step2 again.

But when I execute STEP 1 I see this message:
"No Device Connected" -> "Would you like to try copying again?"
And don't work... My mobile only enter in bootload (Red, Green and Blue Screen).
The Active Sync don't connect in mobile on bootload screen =(
What I do?

Do you have a SD Card >2GB in your Slot?
Then removed it and try it again ... There is a known problem with flashing while a sd card >2GB is connected (you have to install the sdhc driver after install in order to use your sd card ... maybe its included in the rom)

No, I removed the memory card before install... I trying to use the mtty, but I don't have successfull too =(
I read on web that I can put a ELF0IMG.nbh file on memory card and power up on bootload with the card to install the ROM... it works?

This worked for my O2 XDA Orbit (HTC Artemis) ... it could be, that youre device isnt supported ... it could be different as a P3300?!

Thanks, but I can't sync my phone because I can only enter in bootload mode =/
I tried puting the ARTEIMG.nbh file into memory card, but only give the message: "Invalid Certificate".
Thank you for try to help me, but I don't know what I can to do! I think that my mobile is dead forever =/

So, you can't turn on your device anymore?
Did you tried a Hardreset?

Yes, I can turn on the device, but don't start the OS, stay on SPL/IPL... screen, and I can enter in BootLoad screen too (Red/Green/Blue screen).

This sounds bad .... the last thing i know is to do a hardreset:
when device is switched on
1. press left and right softkey together and hold ... then stick the stylus in the RESET hole and remove it (but still press the keys)
2. after a short reboot you should see a message with further instruction ... now you can release the softkeys and follow the instructions ...
So, thats the last thing i get in mind ... sorry ...

SPL 3.03 isn't compatible with HSPL sir.
But you can run Android on your Stock Rom 3.14!

Hmm. I've got spl 3.03.0000, can run android from sd... But am getting the 'robot voice' on calls, even though I hit CLRCAD before running Android.
Any ideas?

Hi, I am a complete n00b at this but I have spl 3.03.0000 as well on my HD2 and I want to run android with sense - considering the FroyoStone Sense v3.2 like you have.
Before anyone completely grills me... I've done my research and downloaded everything I needed up until I came across a few posts on xda about not needing HSPL3 and radios etc if I had spl 3.03 on my phone because Android can run on spl 3.03.
I came across this post and didn't want to miss the opportunity to ask. So my question is, do I still proceed with flashing HSPL3, installing a radio, flashing a custom WinMo rom (ie. Energy's rom), format sd card and putting Android on it, then do the CLRCAD and haret to run Android?
Or (correct me if I'm wrong), can I simply format my sd card and put Android on it and do the CLRCAD and haret in order to run Android, without doing anything to my phone?
I do appologize for being long winded, it seems like we both have the same spl 3.03 and want to use FroyoStone Sense v3.2, and since you got it to work, I wanted to know how you did it.
Any help would be must appreciated,

When you have SPL 3.03 on your device, don't tray to install HSPL. installing HSPL over SPL 3.03 isn't possible.
and installing a SPL 3.03 ROM over HSPL will limit your program memory to +/- 50Mb. (except on T-mous devices)
Android is compatible with latest stock ROM (SPL 3.93 / Radio 2.15)
If you have robotic voice, try to change the Kernel version.
You don't need to do something special on your device in this condition. Just format your SD card and put Android on it, and run the CLRCAD and haret in order to run Android.

Nah, is there any chance to install cooked rom on SPL 3.03? I had a problem with volume up button, it didnt work and I gave HD2 to HTC and they returned it to me with SPL 3.03 not 1.66 as I had before. :/

yep, you can have cooked roms on spl3.03 by sspl. sspl will fake the spl version just for flashing purpose but not really change anything, thus no impact to warranty. search it in the rom forum and you can easily find it.

Is it possible to downgrade software? For example if I'm running 1.66 now and wish to try the newest rom but find that I do not like it, could I downgrade back to 1.66?

What if i need to go back to the stock ROM, do i need to run stock rom again or just use the wipe all function?

I want to install android for my running HD2 ship rom 3.14.707.3,
2:15 radio contest to select the appropriate version of android to do, I heard that Android can run on hd2 (512) HSPL forward without your help, many thanks.

Sinds i have the 3.14 stock rom from HTC i get a the error i cannot install unsigned apps, and so i cannot run Android roms etc..

I have a problem when a install android in my HD2 in SD card... when i run it, it works well but when a try to take a photo or someting like that e gave me an error in SD card...

I've install the file: SuperRam.Sense_V0.1 like in this link: w

the android builds on the hd2 android development subforum are all sd card builds, you can try any one of them

Cant get into magldr112, device hangs

I am upgrading to the wp7 rom, my radio is 2.8x, I have installed magldr112 via the DFT cab file, device restarts and then hangs on the start up screen.
I know ive read about this here on the forums but cant seem to find the post again.
Could someone help please before I go crazy?!

I had a problem like this and found it was something to do with the PC I was installing it from. I install the whole thing again on another PC and it worked fine.
The 2 main differences with the PC was one was Vista 32bit and the other was 7 64bit.
Not sure if this is relevant at all but I hope it helps.

I am installing it from my Windows 7 64bit.
Did you find you had the same issue on a 64?

I've just tried on a 32 bit machine and still the same.
I was using energizer 6.5.x rom and now it hangs on the NRG boot screen.
Getting worried now!

Any ideas? I've been sat here for nearly an hour trying to resolve this. I cant be the only one surely?

Nope, I'm stuck at the same step.
Can re-install MAGLDR112, but it always just re-starts and get stuck at the white htc screen.

Actually I'm past that bit...woohoo!
Reset the device back to the loader and installed an updated radio (Radio_2.10.50.19_2.zip) and now it boots into the MAGLDR112.
Give that a go mate.

yeah i tried that already and didnt work for me, however I did try new hspl3 and now it works
Trying to get wifi working now..

My Wifi didn't work until I removed the SD card. Hardly got any free space but it couldn't see the card before I took it out anyway but at least is Wifi working.

MAGLDR won't work with HSPL142 or HSPL166 (stop at white screen)

I'm not sure. WP7 couldn't see my SD card anyway (look in "about" in settings to see available memory) and I found other posts suggesting removing the SD card will allow Wifi to work.
I'm searching now to see if I can get an SD card that will actually work. Has anyone actually got an SD card working in a WP7 HD2?

Well, on first setup i was able to use wifi, but now it doesnt connect. I can see the router/s but refuses to connect.

Switch your router off, then back on. same happened to me, but was able to connect after doing that.

Everytime i reboot my device i get a new MAC-address.
the first 6 chars are still the same 00:18:41:... but the last 6 changes after every reboot. I Think that is the problem why you can't connect to WIFI-network.
(sorry for my bad english)

1. Put your stock rom ruu_signed.nbh on sd card as LEOIMG.nbh (<4gb card)
2. Reflash that by holding vol down - hspl.
3. Reboot and dont got into it - goto new (old) spl.
4). Connect and do HSPL3_PKG.exe, We hacked it. Best to NOW change your drivers to MTTY drivers (first point you can as hspl rapitool doesnt recognize them so change to unsigned drivers now) and connect then do:
task 28 55aa
task 29
task 8 (which is reboot)
YOU NEED TO CLEAN IT OUT WHEN FLASHING OVER AND OVER AND OVER or you end up with fk hd2 with too many bad blocks in nand and screwed partitions.
5.) Now re-do your radio with latest by replacing LEOIMG.nbh with ruu_signed.nbh from radio rar/zip. = ie 2.15 radio and vol-down reboot hspl again.
6) Now replace LEOIMG.nbh with MAGLDR 112 .nbh as LEOIMG.nbh on sd and
YOU ARE DONE.
7) Run dwi.exe and install Windows 7 then do ChevronWP7 hacks/etc and get LIVE.
Before doing dwi.exe PROPERLY: make a fake data.zip with EMPTY (ie: notepad make 0kb .txt files then rename part00.bin, part01.bin, ALL THE WAY TO part07.bin and save these into data.zip (rename real data.zip data.bak or whatever).
Then flash with dwi.exe so this CLEANS OUT PARTITIONS COMPLETELY with ZEROES.

Thanks for your extensive answer but guess what? Thats right, still no wifi.
It worked on first boot, i was able to sync my contacts, go on facebook etc so must be something that has happened since then or during restarts.

You can always HEX-Edit the partitions going to nand for Wp7 and change MAC.
I have (almost completely now) reverse engineered Cotulla and DFT release of Windows Phone 7.

[Q] Update windows7 7592 to latest rom on HD2?

Hello people!
I've been working with windows 7 7592 on my HTC HD2 for some time now and i really want to keep windows 7. I can't seem to find a way to update from 7592 to 7720, does anyone know of any ?

you'll have to download first the wanted update cab from xbosmod/sylvester's page and send it to your phone with the help of update cab sender from the same guys

which ROM you have? author (which cooker not version)
only Yuki ROM can update with CAB files.... for other ROM's you must flashing from beginning

I installed windows 7 on my htc hd2 some time ago, i think it was the first Mango release, 7592. Any way i can find out who cooked that specific rom i used so i can update ?

did you can send CAB files to phone? if you can, this is Yuki (BTTF) ROM.... but maybe is better to try change to other ROM.... only one warning... if your ROM is Yuki, then your sdcard is locked... you must first unlock it with sending unlock CAB file to phone and then format it before install new ROM....

I could send cab files through a Microsoft developer tool, and my sdcard is not locked.

Why is everything so complicated!!
Ok my friend, i allready have Magldr v1.13 and windows 7592.
On your tutorial you write:
- when you turn on phone press and hold power button to boot direct to MAGLDR:
* go to 5. USB Flasher and run ENG_DWI.exe to flash ROM (or TR_DWI.exe. ENG is installer in English, TR is Turkish)
- after flashing process done, and when show Main screen with Tiles, do hard reset (Settings - About - reset my phone)
- you are done... ignore next steps
Got two questions on that.
I downloaded 3_HD2_Pdaimatejam_Rom_Wp7.5_mango_7.10.8107.79_v7.3.rar but there's no ENG_DWI.exe in the file..
How does it install windows 7 8107 just by hard resetting ?
I feel like a pain in the neck, sorry for that, if things get more complicated i'll try to find another way or just stay with 7592.

I flashed sdcard, went to usb mode but DWI.exe wont regognise the usb connection..

one time file is named ENG_DWI.exe.... totally not important how is named, DWI.exe or ENG_DWI.exe.. is same file..
did in USB mode in MAGLDR recognize USB?

Dude.. I've had this phone for what.. 3 years now?

Everything works.. marketplace works, speech works, everything.
Only thing there is no alphabet with the apps, but that's fine, i'm sure i'll find something somewhere.

plzz help urgent ..error during flashing all wp7 roms

previously i had flashed more than 10 times.and i never had problem .all was working well but now when i flash any wp7 rom there is error at the end and process stop in between.i had tried changing sd cards but no use plz help me....i have attached screenshot plz have a look at it ...any solution??:crying:

did you set magldr options right? uselast24nand and clear sd mbr?
also look tutorial from my signature...

3] usb flasher set
where i can get uselast24nand ?

read all tutorial and did same told .....uselast24nand and clear sd mbr done ..but no change...still shows same error...
spl is already 2.08 is there problem in spl??
how can i solve this problem??

SPL must be HSPL
change USB cable
try on other computer
run DWI.exe as administrator

done same told....usb changed ,admini run,tried on other computer still showing same error...its it hardware problem?
