Htc hd2 spl-3.03.0000

Hi,
I hope you can help me and although I have my cell phone HTC HD2 get but with SPL 3.03.0000 I would like Android rom instalation but before I do so with HSPL3 THE ERROR IS NOT flash is what I have to do one probably you have an idea ?

SPL 3.03 isn't compatible with HSPL sir.
But you can run Android on your Stock Rom 3.14!

Hmm. I've got spl 3.03.0000, can run android from sd... But am getting the 'robot voice' on calls, even though I hit CLRCAD before running Android.
Any ideas?

Edit... Just tried a different version of android & it works perfectly. No HSPL req'd.

Hi, I am a complete n00b at this but I have spl 3.03.0000 as well on my HD2 and I want to run android with sense - considering the FroyoStone Sense v3.2 like you have.
Before anyone completely grills me... I've done my research and downloaded everything I needed up until I came across a few posts on xda about not needing HSPL3 and radios etc if I had spl 3.03 on my phone because Android can run on spl 3.03.
I came across this post and didn't want to miss the opportunity to ask. So my question is, do I still proceed with flashing HSPL3, installing a radio, flashing a custom WinMo rom (ie. Energy's rom), format sd card and putting Android on it, then do the CLRCAD and haret to run Android?
Or (correct me if I'm wrong), can I simply format my sd card and put Android on it and do the CLRCAD and haret in order to run Android, without doing anything to my phone?
I do appologize for being long winded, it seems like we both have the same spl 3.03 and want to use FroyoStone Sense v3.2, and since you got it to work, I wanted to know how you did it.
Any help would be must appreciated,

When you have SPL 3.03 on your device, don't tray to install HSPL. installing HSPL over SPL 3.03 isn't possible.
and installing a SPL 3.03 ROM over HSPL will limit your program memory to +/- 50Mb. (except on T-mous devices)
Android is compatible with latest stock ROM (SPL 3.93 / Radio 2.15)
If you have robotic voice, try to change the Kernel version.
You don't need to do something special on your device in this condition. Just format your SD card and put Android on it, and run the CLRCAD and haret in order to run Android.

Nah, is there any chance to install cooked rom on SPL 3.03? I had a problem with volume up button, it didnt work and I gave HD2 to HTC and they returned it to me with SPL 3.03 not 1.66 as I had before. :/

yep, you can have cooked roms on spl3.03 by sspl. sspl will fake the spl version just for flashing purpose but not really change anything, thus no impact to warranty. search it in the rom forum and you can easily find it.

Is it possible to downgrade software? For example if I'm running 1.66 now and wish to try the newest rom but find that I do not like it, could I downgrade back to 1.66?

What if i need to go back to the stock ROM, do i need to run stock rom again or just use the wipe all function?

I want to install android for my running HD2 ship rom 3.14.707.3,
2:15 radio contest to select the appropriate version of android to do, I heard that Android can run on hd2 (512) HSPL forward without your help, many thanks.

Sinds i have the 3.14 stock rom from HTC i get a the error i cannot install unsigned apps, and so i cannot run Android roms etc..
What is the easyst way to fix this.

Disable USB connection.
Windows 2008 (Vista) >>> followed guide to change driver >> driver changed.
Enable USB connection.
Activesync fine, synched one last time.
Unzip [P3600i] HardSPL v1.1
Start ROMUpdateUtility.exe ([P3600i] HardSPL v1.1)

Did you run the ROMUpdateUtility.exe as Administrator???
You MUST run it as Administrator or it will not work correctly.

I have a problem when a install android in my HD2 in SD card... when i run it, it works well but when a try to take a photo or someting like that e gave me an error in SD card...
can any one help to resolve the problem?

G 15.42.50. 1 1U
D 3.14.04666
I've install the file: SuperRam.Sense_V0.1 like in this link: w

The problem is... I don't know what is another android build... but cam you help me to install another android build in my HD2... I'm sorry but i don't speak very well english so it's a little dificult to understand techinal terms

the android builds on the hd2 android development subforum are all sd card builds, you can try any one of them

Cant get into magldr112, device hangs

I am upgrading to the wp7 rom, my radio is 2.8x, I have installed magldr112 via the DFT cab file, device restarts and then hangs on the start up screen.
I know ive read about this here on the forums but cant seem to find the post again.
Could someone help please before I go crazy?!

I had a problem like this and found it was something to do with the PC I was installing it from. I install the whole thing again on another PC and it worked fine.
The 2 main differences with the PC was one was Vista 32bit and the other was 7 64bit.
Not sure if this is relevant at all but I hope it helps.

I am installing it from my Windows 7 64bit.
Did you find you had the same issue on a 64?

I've just tried on a 32 bit machine and still the same.
I was using energizer 6.5.x rom and now it hangs on the NRG boot screen.
Getting worried now!

Any ideas? I've been sat here for nearly an hour trying to resolve this. I cant be the only one surely?

Nope, I'm stuck at the same step.
Can re-install MAGLDR112, but it always just re-starts and get stuck at the white htc screen.

Actually I'm past that bit...woohoo!
Reset the device back to the loader and installed an updated radio (Radio_2.10.50.19_2.zip) and now it boots into the MAGLDR112.
Give that a go mate.

yeah i tried that already and didnt work for me, however I did try new hspl3 and now it works
Trying to get wifi working now..

My Wifi didn't work until I removed the SD card. Hardly got any free space but it couldn't see the card before I took it out anyway but at least is Wifi working.

Do you have installed HSPL208?
MAGLDR won't work with HSPL142 or HSPL166 (stop at white screen)

I'm not sure. WP7 couldn't see my SD card anyway (look in "about" in settings to see available memory) and I found other posts suggesting removing the SD card will allow Wifi to work.
I'm searching now to see if I can get an SD card that will actually work. Has anyone actually got an SD card working in a WP7 HD2?

Well, on first setup i was able to use wifi, but now it doesnt connect. I can see the router/s but refuses to connect.

Switch your router off, then back on. same happened to me, but was able to connect after doing that.

MAC-adress
Everytime i reboot my device i get a new MAC-address.
the first 6 chars are still the same 00:18:41:... but the last 6 changes after every reboot. I Think that is the problem why you can't connect to WIFI-network.
(sorry for my bad english)

1. Put your stock rom ruu_signed.nbh on sd card as LEOIMG.nbh (<4gb card)
2. Reflash that by holding vol down - hspl.
3. Reboot and dont got into it - goto new (old) spl.
4). Connect and do HSPL3_PKG.exe, We hacked it. Best to NOW change your drivers to MTTY drivers (first point you can as hspl rapitool doesnt recognize them so change to unsigned drivers now) and connect then do:
task 28 55aa
task 29
task 8 (which is reboot)
YOU NEED TO CLEAN IT OUT WHEN FLASHING OVER AND OVER AND OVER or you end up with fk hd2 with too many bad blocks in nand and screwed partitions.
5.) Now re-do your radio with latest by replacing LEOIMG.nbh with ruu_signed.nbh from radio rar/zip. = ie 2.15 radio and vol-down reboot hspl again.
6) Now replace LEOIMG.nbh with MAGLDR 112 .nbh as LEOIMG.nbh on sd and
YOU ARE DONE.
7) Run dwi.exe and install Windows 7 then do ChevronWP7 hacks/etc and get LIVE.
Before doing dwi.exe PROPERLY: make a fake data.zip with EMPTY (ie: notepad make 0kb .txt files then rename part00.bin, part01.bin, ALL THE WAY TO part07.bin and save these into data.zip (rename real data.zip data.bak or whatever).
Then flash with dwi.exe so this CLEANS OUT PARTITIONS COMPLETELY with ZEROES.

Thanks for your extensive answer but guess what? Thats right, still no wifi.
It worked on first boot, i was able to sync my contacts, go on facebook etc so must be something that has happened since then or during restarts.

You can always HEX-Edit the partitions going to nand for Wp7 and change MAC.
I have (almost completely now) reverse engineered Cotulla and DFT release of Windows Phone 7.

bootloader proplem

i need help here:
1- i cannot install asl 2.8
2- i cannot mglder 1.12 or 1.11
3- i cannot upgrade radio
4-i cannot use hpsl 2 or 3
5- all this prop has one link the program cannot find my device on bootloader however the device found by computer
note:i remove the asl from phone and install the basic rom 6.5 but this prop founded before i remove it

what ROM version do you have on your phone right now? turn the phone then back on. when the phone starts up look to the bottom left of the screen and list exactly what you see typed in red. this will tell us where you are on your phone currently. then we go from there.

ok....first you must flash spl 2.08. then flash 2.08.hspl.
to do this make sure you use HSPL3 from THIS post. if you you dont know how you can follow the intruction in THIS post. but make sure you use HSPL3.
then flash magldr v1.12

you should be able to upgrade from 1.42.000.
do you have windows mobile device center open and running in the background showing the phone is connected? you should. then run HSPL3. it should reboot your phone to the tri-colored screen and check for usb connection. then choose the version you want to install.
is this what you are doing?

which windows OS are you running? 32 or 64bit? so i can link you the right one.

hi i am a noob needing help im after windows phone 7.5 (mango) on my uk o2 htc hd2 but i am very confused and need a step by step guide i'm currently running window mob 6.5.5 (Artemis ver65.0) which i bought with the rom already installed any help will be much appreciated thanks

simple steps to install WP7 ROM to HD2:
1. Check HSPL in booloader screen... you must have (install) 2.08 HSPL
2. insert formated microSD card
3. install Radio 2.15.50 (first boot to bootloader then connect device and run flashing)
4. install Magldr1.13 (first boot to bootloader then connect device and run flashing, after process done device restart and boot to Magldr menu)
5. Enable 24MB extra memory in Magldr services (select 10. Services - 4. UseLast24NAND, confirm with green)
6. Delete MBR on SDcard in Magldr services (10. Services - 5. ClearSD MDR)
7. In Magldr select 5. USB Flasher, connect device and flash ROM with DWI.exe
8. wait process done, and when WP7 booted do hard reset (GO to Settings - About - Reset my phone)....
and thats done...
after WP7 installed, you must have .net Framework on your computer, also install latest Zune and get Live ID key from Microsoft (with chat or phone)
also install WP7 SDK and with Tom XAP Installer you can istall XAP's to device....

installing wp7 rom 2 errors probably simple ;)

does anyone know what this problem is? i have installed hspl 2.08 fine and magldr v1.13 but when i have gone to try and install 3 windows 7 roms the same error keeps coming up :/

yes i did that first time.
but i havent installed radios so that may be the problem ill try your solution and see if that helps

i found solution its so SIMPLE XD
it wouldnt recognise it for some reason. all you do is right click on dwi and click run as administrator now its working
