YOU NEED TO CLEAN IT OUT WHEN FLASHING OVER AND OVER AND OVER or you end up with fk hd2 with too many bad blocks in nand and screwed partitions.
5.) Now re-do your radio with latest by replacing LEOIMG.nbh with ruu_signed.nbh from radio rar/zip. = ie 2.15 radio and vol-down reboot hspl again.
6) Now replace LEOIMG.nbh with MAGLDR 112 .nbh as LEOIMG.nbh on sd and
YOU ARE DONE.
7A) Jump down to replace data.zip 7B) before you Run dwi.exe and install Windows 7 then do ChevronWP7 hacks/etc and get LIVE. note: SOMETIMES helps to pull battery out not press vol down twice at 1234-5-6 (go go go) point - ie: first HARDRESET per Cotulla and DFT instructions. and CLEAN 8gb class 10 SD-card SANDISK is best and OEM (but faster).
7B) .........final.....stage.....here....
Continuing on: wp7 CLEAN: WORKS:
Before doing dwi.exe PROPERLY: make a fake data.zip with EMPTY (ie: notepad make 0kb .txt files then rename part00.bin, part01.bin, ALL THE WAY TO part07.bin and save these into data.zip (rename real data.zip data.bak or whatever).
Then flash with dwi.exe so this CLEANS OUT PARTITIONS COMPLETELY with ZEROES.
now: notes:

Also - questions:
Anyone take note and/or mtty'd or used Cotulla's SIMULACRUM SPL (LEO 1000 SPL here)? ie: pressing just vol down gets you to wp7 spl before it boots (after magldr of course - 1234 vol down). I have reverse engineered daf.exe/dwi.exe and binaries+ using 24nand+ and dumping/mttying have been able to crack a few commands for this strange but necessary second-second-program-loader. Anyway - TO CLEAN YOUR PHONE wp7-method do this and (this is the both normal winmo and my replaced data.zip NEXT STAGE CLEAN after the above oem/stock/winmo and spl cleaning by sd... save the life of your hd2 for another year...
(nb: you can also do daf/android way with NO FILES .IMG at all - just use flash.cfg with 0 asize allsize and no boot, system, ro, nothing: just those 3. ie: partition name is 0. dont even have to name a file system. Although is interesting that daf.exe has strings in it for both: SquashFS, and WPH. !!! this is daf.exe not dwi.exe ...) hmmm.

Hello,
I have done these steps:
1. Put your stock rom ruu_signed.nbh on sd card as LEOIMG.nbh (<4gb card)
2. Reflash that by holding vol down - hspl.
3. Reboot and dont got into it - goto new (old) spl.
and now my phone says I have SPL 3.03! I cannot flash any other SPLs anymore.
Please help....
what I am missing?

HD2 newbie need advice & guidance

Hi guys just bought HD2 and i love it
I read in the forum mentioned that HD2 can be upgrade to WP7...is stable...if i want to upgrade it to WP7 how can i do it is there any links that i can follow as a guide

for all ROM's install procedure is almost same (for more details look in ROM topics) :
- Flash original WM6.5 if needed
- prepare microSD card formatted to FAT32
- Flash HSPL 2.08 if needed
- Flash MAGLDR 1.13
- in MAGLDR use:
* 10. Services, 4. UseLast24NAND
* 10. Services, 5. ClearSD MDR
* 5. USB Flasher and run DWI.exe to flash ROM
- after flashing done, do hard reset (Settings - About - reset my phone)

[Q] Error Description: USB failed HD2 convert from wm6.5 to wp7

Hi, I have a new problem. Installed a ran DFT_LEO71_TEST. Ran DW install which loads raptool. This looks good, I get the 4 colours on the phone as per the various You Tube vidoes. The raptool says its looking for USB connection which its currently connected to. Then bombs out with the following error message:
"An error message has occurred.
Read below for more information.
ErrorDescription: USB init failed
INfo:\RSPL|RSPL.cpp(1198)"
What is the solution to this USB problem?

procedure for upgrade to WP7... all WP7 have same install (flash) procedure... if WP7 already installed, just enough is last two steps...

plzz help urgent ..error during flashing all wp7 roms

previously i had flashed more than 10 times.and i never had problem .all was working well but now when i flash any wp7 rom there is error at the end and process stop in between.i had tried changing sd cards but no use plz help me....i have attached screenshot plz have a look at it ...any solution??:crying:

did you set magldr options right? uselast24nand and clear sd mbr?

read all tutorial and did same told .....uselast24nand and clear sd mbr done ..but no change...still shows same error...
spl is already 2.08 is there problem in spl??
how can i solve this problem??

change USB cable
try on other computer
run DWI.exe as administrator

done same told....usb changed ,admini run,tried on other computer still showing same error...its it hardware problem?

[Q] Should I flash it or no??? Help please

So my HTC Blackstone is going crazy.I changed battery & touch screen and after that cam went crazy.I saw all kinds of colou's on cam but that's not a problem because I use it rarely.What bothers me is that I locked myself out of it.I was setting up screen password early in morning and I don't know what did I typed in.How can I solve this???
I'm thinking to flash it but when I was looking at flashing instructions I saw that I need to Sync it with my computer in Windows Mobile Device Center.But I cant sync it since I cant log into the system.I installed all drivers on my PC and when I connect it via USB it detects it automatically.
I wanted to reset HTC to factory defaults but I cant I did Hard Reset but when I do it I come to that 3 color screen and cant go further than that.
When HTC is disconnected and I'm in 3 color screen on the bottom it says "Serial",when I connect it to USB it says USB.
So basically I'm stuck and I need advice,what to do???
Can I flash it without sync it with Windows Mobile Device Center???
Or is there other way around this problem!

For flashing a new ROM, there is no need to sync with Windows Mobile Device Center. However, you will need Microsoft .Net 3.5 SP1 to connect to Blackstone. I am guessing you are using Vista or Win 8, so you may have to do a separate install for it.
I recommend that you use a ROM from this thread, which is the most updated on this website. I am using it, and it is very stable. I had used the Android version, and it is user and finger friendly.

Caution: Make sure Blackstone has at least 70% battery-life
Step 1. Update HSPL to 1.56 Olinex
1a. You will need to update the HSPL (effectively, unlocking your phone) to 1.56 Olinex. Follow the instructions found in the above thread, under a heading:

1b. Follow the instructions very strictly. It can get tricky, but it is worth the effort.
Step 2. Download custom ROM
2a. Go to the Download site, and in Mediafire site, go to the folder:
0.77_WM_653_WEH_Orange_ROM
2b. Inside the folder, you will find this ROMs for download, for example:
ORANGE ROM [1-October-2013] - 0.77 [Full - Cookie 2.0_Android] WM6.5.3 WEH.zip
2c. Download this file and extract the files.
BlackstoneAdvancedRUU.exe
RUU_Signed.nbh
2d. Copy the "RUU_Signed.nbh" file to the Root of your Blackstone microSD and rename it to "BLACIMG.NBH. Do not insert it into Blackstone yet.
Step 3. Wipe existing Blackstone ROM
3a. Reboot your Blackstone to Tri-color screen and connect to PC by USB.
3b. On PC, run the program "BlackstoneAdvancedRUU.exe". Select Task 29 do it. This will do a clean wipe of the Blackstone ROM (which you said has been corrupted.
3c. Once the Task 29 is completed,
Switch off Blackstone.
Disconnect USB cable from Blackstone.
Insert the microSD (with the BLACIMG.NBH file) to your Blackstone.
Step 4. Install custom ROM
4a. Switch on your Blackstone to Tri-color mode.
Very shortly, you will come to a screen to ask if you want to update the ROM file.
Press the Power button to update
4b. The rest of the update will be done automatically.
