[Q] ATT I337 Stuck at ATT Logo - AT&T Samsung Galaxy S 4 Q&A, Help & Troubleshootin

My phone is stuck at the ATT Logo screen and no matter what I do I cannot get past it; I tired to boot into recovery mode to wipe data but it won't let me boot into recovery mode. I've went to Odin to and put on a new .pit but I also failed that. Before all this happened I was on MF3 (rooted) and I wanted to unroot it so I could get the OTA and root my phone on MK2. So, I unrooted my phone and got the update and when the phone went to reboot it got stuck at the att logo. Any advice/ solutions would be great. Thank You.

Might help. The OP is an abortion of grammar, but if you can piece it together, it should get you going.

Help

I recently got a Galaxy S4 from att and I rooted it to be able to remove the bloatware. I tried to install a program called icon theme for rooted phones to customize my phone but when it rebooted it stays stuck on the Att boot up screen. Please give me suggestions on what to do. I am very new to android phones and rooting. Thanks in advance.

Ya better off to wait if you have an AT&T variant

just plug in your device to your computer and follow these steps:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=41274147&postcount=5
this will completely disable Xposed, so you'll have to redo any other mods you had from it

Stuck on downloading screen.

First off I have searched, and came up with nothing. I am on MF3, and did a factory reset and now my S4 is stuck on downloading screen. Anyone know a way to fix this. Any help is appreciated.
Are you rooted? When download mode comes up have you cancelled, vol down?
No lost my root on firmware update.. it doesnt give that option. It just says
could not do normal boot.

Have you tried kies? Some have reported that that has worked for them.
Mine does the same thing it will not boot into recovery you have to boot power+home+volume down then press volume down again to cancel and it should reboot from there fine

Did you have a custom recovery ie. Twrp?
I had rooted my wife's gs4 mdl but only rooted she wouldn't let me do anything else, I however had twrp custom recovery and when the ota update of mf3 we both lost root but I lost the ability to factory reset where she did not when I try it goes into Odin mode and I have to do what I stated before to reboot, hers however was able to factory reset no prob

What is bricking phones is people trying to flash custom recoveries on MF3. You can NOT do it, but people keep doing it.. despite the 10000 warnings on here.
OP. This is a development forum. Yes we know what that is, we know how to use it. I suggest you read the sticky threads in all sections if you are interested in anything with your phone. If not, do not attempt to do anything at all. You will more than likely end up with a really expensive paperweight.
Btw, that is the warning screen before you get to Odin mode. Odin is a flashing tool for Samsung devices used on a computer.

I didn't say I bricked nor flashed anything to get this screen.I believe I've only posted 1 time with a small problem I had when I used an lg thrill so as fas as reading and fixing my own problems.I've honestly never looked in "stickies"and for that I apologize. Anytime I reply to someone it is the answer they r looking for.I didn't use Odin to get this to pop up and didn't use Odin to fix it.I just wanted to know what pushing up would do .

Pushing up is how it goes to odin mode. Which at this time IF your on MF3 OTA firmware would be useless since there is no custom recovery anyways. So the ONLY thing for those on MF3 OTA firmware is if they were going into odin mode to flash the MF3 firmware again (for examole at the Samsung Experience inside BestBuys.
For those that have MDL or MDB firmwares then that is what you DO USE to get into odin mode (so that the odin application can be used to communicate and flash the phone to custom firmwares).
So LONG STORY SHORT Yes we have all pushed up and have seen it and installed custom firmwares (For those that have rooted and installed custom firmwares that is).
Also if you did push up the ohone goes into odin mode. It will not brick your phone. You can just hold the power button until it fully powers off and then restart the phone and your back to normal as nothibg wiuld be changed, flashed, or anything.

[Q] HELP! I obliterated recovery! Verizon LG G2

Alright, So i rooted my lg g2, for some reason couldnt flash anything using TWRP. i flashed cwm, only to have my recovery screwed. I tried flashing back to stock, but couldnt get into device manager for some reason, im running windows 2002, I NEED my phone hopefully by today. Im kind of a noob when it comes to this stuff. With my recovery obliterated, i did a stupid thing and accepted the OTA update from verizon and i think im stuck inside some kind of bootloop. it shows the lg logo along with some writing at the top left hand corner, something like a error message it seems like. PLEASE HELP. How do i fix this?

but my problem is that it wont boot into recovery, Im really stressing out. ive seen that link but not sure how im supposed to do stuff without recovery. it boots then shows like a few little messages on the top left corner, then turns off
It has nothing to do with recovery. Read the forum he linked VERY carefully and follow their steps. If you still can't get it to work, then ask for help.

Need Help! Galaxy S4 won't boot

My phone was working fine and then it rebooted on it's own yesterday morning and now it is stuck at the ATT logo screen. I hear the ATT music play but it stays on the screen with the logo. I have rebooted many times and it still does the same thing. I have searched everywhere and no solutions have worked. I have NO idea where to start.
Was it rooted? MK2? MK3? NB1? 1337m or regular? We need more information

It was never rooted. Everything was stock since the day I got it. I think I did a software upgrade at the end of last year but that is it.

I would boot into recovery and do a factory reset. It'll wipe everything so I hope you have a back up somewhere. But it should get you going again.
