The attached file is some SSL traffic that occurs when the device is turned on. It also includes checking Nokia's OVI Production servers along with checking on a few other certificates including blacklisted ones.

All the traffic has been saved in the 7z as well. It includes the info for all of the T-Mobile USA apps that are embedded in the ROM.

Using an unlocking service online, but your mileage may vary. I never really tried as T-Mobile has ZERO reception at my home and I have the ATIV Odyssey that does everything and more (NFC and factory SIM unlocked) for essentially the same price point.

that's great piece of code, wonder why wM6.1 still does not do that natively, it has been in other brands for years...
Anyway only one drawback, it would be really nice if you posted here a version without a signature, i mean now i know who made, so i don't see the point to see your signature in every sms, it's just unprofessional, more even a spam
One way or another, thanks again

+1 for that feature without a signature
But i've already removed all the development software from my PC ! Too much work reinstalling everything just to remove the signature ;P
just post the sources, i'll take care of the rest,
second drawback it only looks up first name so if have two michaels in my contatcs with different lastnames then i still don't know
so post the sources, i'll take care of that either
B/R
I will look into reinstalling my development tools and refreshing the code. Regarding posting the source, i shall refrain from that. The last time i did that , someone had added a trojen into my code, recompiled it and posted it as a legit copy and "general" uses who got caught blamed me and accused me of intentioanlly infectting their pc's. This really did happen.
I have just refreshed the code to new version v1.04 . Only 2 small minor changes.
7th July 2009 - v1.04 released
- Changed display "First Name" to "FileAs". This will show both First/Last Name.
- Removed the signature "Developed by ....." (Hope everyone who requested this is now happy
Files can be downloaded from the original link in the first post above. Remember, UNINSTALL previous version first.

I am using SMSBubbles and it does the same and more!
"SMSBubbles displays incoming text message or delivery receipt in a "bubble". If text of message contains a phone number SMSBubbles tries to find matching contact from the phone's contact list and according to the settings replaces the number by composed contact string. All phone numbers in a bubble are shown as links, so it is possible to activate them and then make a call to the linked phone number."
But decide yourself what to use...

Unlock code reader for HTC Snap / Maple

---
Noctua Tech team presents software unlock code reader which allows you to easily SIM unlock HTC Maple (HTC Snap / HTC S522 / T-Mobile Dash 3G / Tmobile Captain):

Get the phone unlock code in just 3 simple steps:
Connect the phone to your computer using the USB sync cable
Launch HTC Multi Unlocker
See the unlock code for your HTC phone appear on the screen!
All codes are 100% correct for all networks and countries, code is read from the phone itself, no wrong codes are generated.
HTC Multi Unlocker will only display the phone's SIM unlock code, allowing you to use the phone with any GSM operator's SIM card.
This software does not perform CID-unlock or Security-unlock, this is done on purpose for those who want to remove the simlock, netlock and service provider lock restrictions and still keep the phone's warranty intact (it doesn't flash a radio, or SPL... nothing is modified on the phone).
How to get the unlock software?
* People who has donated 30 EUR to XDA-Developers can request a FREE unlock by sending your phone's IMEI via PM. (You must have at least 3

I still don't understand. I'm sorry but I'm confused with so many names.
Ozone is also GSM. Does it mean this unlocker doesn't work with this phone?
I own an HTC Ozone and I got the GSM slot unlocked by calling Verizon and providing the IMEI as like in any other phone.
This actually worked for me!
It'costs (15 euro) but it work good on Dash 3g!

Hi.. Your mobile dash 3g can be unlocked by its network provider itself.. Otherwise unlock it by some online providers like Simpleunlocking.com very easily.. Actually the above software could unlock some limited models but you can get unlock codes for plenty of models from that online provider.. So it is better to unlock it here....

A graet idea for forums!

A great idea especially for THIS forum!
I was just looking after QR code generators and readers when I had an idea.
So, I think everything would be easier with Qrcodes. I mean today you have to download an app/cab to your PC/MAC than copy it to your device and install it or surf to the thread (but the thread address is very long...) via your device download it and then install it. I think it s a quit long time...
Next to each apps cab there should be a QRcode within the direct download link/URL of it.
This is an example:
I want to download Opera Mobile 10. Instead of having only a cab link there should be the cab's QRcode, like this:
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",

"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
This way you would be able to download the app (almost) instantly instead of surfing to the thread.
For this you can use different apps:
QuickMark Reader (official site) and Mobiletag Barcodes Reader (official site) are the best apps for this.
Download QuickMark
Download MobileTag
I have also tested (on Leo) the i-nigma and Neoreader (inigma throw me an error log because of data regarding, Neoreader is not the best and it s not really touch friendly).
For QR code generation I used Kaywa's generator and ZXing's generator
Any question, remark is welcome!
Cheers
Here are some pictures and some explanation:
Apps icons (bottom left)
QuickMark's main screen
Here it shows the contact informations contained in the QR code. By clicking on "Telephone" a "Dialing" will appear at the bottom left soft-key and by hitting "Dialing" it will (obviously) start dialing! It happens almost the same clicking on "Email", but unfortunately it starts Outlook...
"Options" shows up the option menu within you can save the contact by clicking on "New Contact", you can also see/copy the complete text of the QR code with the "View Text" option.
QuickMark is unable (in free version) to interpret mail-address QR codes...
...as it says you have to upgrade to be able to use this feature
Here is a simple QR code containing a phone number, hitting "Dialing" it will start the call
Here is the content of an URL QR code, hitting "Access" the app will start a webbrowser by default IE, but you can change it to Opera in the main screen under "Options" (bottom right soft-key)
Here you can the the options you can choose for URLs
This is MobileTag main screen, as you can see you have to hit the screen to star the camera
This a contact information QR code, with MobileTag you can even edit the informations before saving
Nor MobileTag support "mailto" QR codes
"Do you want to call this number?"
This is what shows up when decoding simple text QR codes
You can't set up the default browser in MobileTag, when decoding URL QR codes it instantly starts IE
If you have internet or data connection you will see this screen when reading a normal 1D bar code
If the app find the product via internet it will show its best price and where to buy it...
...and each store's price.
question, dont you need to point the camera at the screen to scan the bar code? I do all my surfing on my hd2, maybe a selection of mirrors to get the image in front of the camera? orr would I have to save the image and import it into the scanner?

you just have to point the camera at the code and the app will decode it itself., but if you are already surfin on your device you just have to click on the link!

no, i am not using them for clicks or whatever, i think it could be useful because i always use my PC for downloading the cabs so i use the longer way...

[Q] Determining the revision of Samsung Focus other than the battery method ?

Just bought a Samsung Focus used, but SIM/Carrier unlocked, Update-7390. The previous owner mentioned about replacing the battery for the Phone.
Is there any other way to determine whether the phone is rev 1.3 or rev 1.4 ?
I've read on the forums that the downgrade only works on rev 1.3.
Thanks !
The revision # is printed on a label underneath the battery on the phone, not on the battery. So, take the battery out and take a look.
Revision 1.4 phones are not capable of receiving 7390 NoDo update. So likely your phone is rev 1.3 or earlier.

I've also got a Focus from Rogers, and there's nothing like a "rev:" or "revision:" on the white label under the battery. The only items listed are Model, FCC ID, IC, IMEI, S/N, UPC, and on the same like as the S/N, there's a "10.11".

Yes Thank You,
Found the revision it's 1.3.
Will post a picture soon, so others can know where to look for it.
It shows like 'Rev. 1.3' on the label. Can't speak for Canandian versions of Focus. They may not have this printed on like the AT&T versions do. They also run different firmware than AT&T version.
Focus from Rogers (Canada) doesn't have the revision anywhere under the battery. Here's a photo of what it looks like (note: IMEI and SN have been edited):

Cool, thank you for your app...I like it.
I will try and give you feeb back. Hope it will available soon on play store, and it will defeat the wearfit and wearfit2.0 to be the best app for DT78/DT92.
However, it seems very difficult to auto establish the connection and reconnecting...after disconnected
EDIT:
So kool...Download DT78-App-Android v1.8
I like the simple look UI of your app, light weight but powerfull
However, it seems that the connection did not stable

Dear Fbiego, SAVE MY WATCH...please
Can you make a video to guide us how to update firmware of DT78 by OTA?
My watch's firmware version is v6.06. Which version of your watch?
I saw on youtube some watches have firmware version v8.02
Thanks!
EDIT:
Unluckily,
The version v8.05 is not compatible with my watch. Now, the screen is shifted upward and inversed screen. Anyone can help me, please?
I need v6.06 to back to the original. Huhuhu...

I don't know how the firmware can be reverted. I got the firmware v8.05 in a zip file which also included 2 more .bin files
C23_804_capacitive_hynitron_cst816s_update.bin
C23_test_20200402_1819.bin
Not sure if these are firmware files
Which version is showed on your watch before and after ? Did you OTA without any troubles? And where do you got the firmware?
Thanks
In product specifications description advertisements it is said that OTA is supported but now they refuse to support.
It is fully death after flash this file C23_test_20200402_1819.bin
No longer turn it on
I'm looking for the solution of JTag jump
I got the firmware from russian forum 4pda.ru, I have not updated my firmware using the files as it requires an iPhone.
I currently have v8.02 on the watch
Already bought another, ...
I recommend that DO NOT OTA update firmware for this watch since it has nothing changes except that the version number code: v6.05, v6.06, v6.09, v8.02, v8.04, v8.05 ....even v12.01
All the Chinese smart band's firmware is not interchangeable ... even in the same model code.
Dear Fbiego,
Can you add this function to next update of DT78-App ?. It auto re-connect BLE device if the connection is broken (Wearfit2.0 can do this-for example if we move the watch far from the phone- the connection break, however then if the watch moves back again close to the phone the connection will auto re-connect)
https://stackoverflow.com/questions/34425662/android-auto-reconnect-ble-devices
https://stackoverflow.com/questions/44446587/automatic-connecting-to-a-ble-device-android
What this does is if our device is disconnected it will keep on trying to connect to it until a connection is established.
Code:
else if (newState == BluetoothProfile.STATE_DISCONNECTED) {
intentAction = ACTION_DISCONNECTED;
DeviceActivity.runOnUI(() -> {
sharedPreferences = PreferenceManager.getDefaultSharedPreferences(getApplicationContext());
String name_dev_1 = sharedPreferences.getString("Dev_1", null) ;
connectToDevice(name_dev_1);
disconnectGattServer();
});
}
}
Auto re-connect has been there, the reconnection is not immediate as it depends on the phone's scanning interval.
Please note that it may not work if Bluetooth is turned off intentionally or when the app stops due to error 133
Good to know that it's there. cheers

Is there a way to send watchfaces to the watch?
And maybe add watchfaces?
Thanks

Watch faces are hardcode in the firmware, recently there aren't have the solution to add more watch-face to DT78 (except the three additional option can be changed thru the sync-app)
These three watch-faces also cann't be modified thru the sync-app. Default it is available in the firmware, but not showed-up on the watch; It is only activated by calling the active code thru the sync-app
I dumped data from the SPI flash chip and found watch faces but the format is unknown.
Using RGB8, I get discolored images. 0xFF (white) gives bluish color on the watch
