Noctua Tech team presents software unlock code reader which allows you to easily SIM unlock HTC Maple (HTC Snap / HTC S522 / T-Mobile Dash 3G / Tmobile Captain):
Get the phone unlock code in just 3 simple steps:
Connect the phone to your computer using the USB sync cable
Launch HTC Multi Unlocker
See the unlock code for your HTC phone appear on the screen!
All codes are 100% correct for all networks and countries, code is read from the phone itself, no wrong codes are generated.
HTC Multi Unlocker will only display the phone's SIM unlock code, allowing you to use the phone with any GSM operator's SIM card.
This software does not perform CID-unlock or Security-unlock, this is done on purpose for those who want to remove the simlock, netlock and service provider lock restrictions and still keep the phone's warranty intact (it doesn't flash a radio, or SPL... nothing is modified on the phone).
How to get the unlock software?
* People who has donated 30 EUR to XDA-Developers can request a FREE unlock by sending your phone's IMEI via PM. (You must have at least 3

Hi,
just curious.... why doesn't the HTC Ozone work with your unlocker?
I see that you didn't include it in the list.
Ozone is CEDAR (CDMA)

Thanks for your reply.
I still don't understand. I'm sorry but I'm confused with so many names.
Ozone is also GSM. Does it mean this unlocker doesn't work with this phone?
I own an HTC Ozone and I got the GSM slot unlocked by calling Verizon and providing the IMEI as like in any other phone.
This actually worked for me!
It'costs (15 euro) but it work good on Dash 3g!

Hi.. Your mobile dash 3g can be unlocked by its network provider itself.. Otherwise unlock it by some online providers like Simpleunlocking.com very easily.. Actually the above software could unlock some limited models but you can get unlock codes for plenty of models from that online provider.. So it is better to unlock it here....

Does anyone no of a wm5 application that when the sim card is changed it texts the telephone number of the new sim card to a predefined telephone number? Even better if it could be stored in memory somewhere.
does IIWPO work on wm5?
edit: my bad, of course it does:

LOL, good point
Wish WM5 would implement this in ROM, like Nokia on the E61 or Samsung on the E900

Hey Guys,
I have a weird question, i have a p4000 from telus in canada and i DONT have caller ID. Telus charges a ridiculous fee for it.
However when i go the caller id screen i can see the numbers of my calls for like 1/2 a second then it goes blank. This is enough that i can get my last call anyways.
Is there any way to completely unlock this via software that anyone knows??
My Telus bill is about $180/mo. (For my HTC Titan & my wife's RAZR V3c.)
...
*sob*
i think mine is 100 or so for the p4000 and the touch.

I agree on the price gouging. I stripped everything off my P4000 plan months ago. No data, no CID, no voicemail, everything except a 20$/month calling plan. I didn't do this because I don't need the features, quite the contrary. But it's my way of protesting the horrible monopoly we're stuck with in Canada. ****em, they're not getting access to my wallet until they match Sprint's unlimited data, unlimited text and 500 minutes for 30$ a month. [/END RANT]
Now, what do you mean by the "caller id screen"? Maybe there is way to hack it but I'm not sure what you're referring to.
I'm referring to the screen you get when you are at the phone screen and you press the button named: Call History
I couldn't find a shot of it in its default state but here is what it looks like if you have the contact photos addon:

Hi everybody
I'm wondering if any of you know whether it's possible to dump the contents of a SIM card in the phone's memory, then to be able to use the phone without the physical sim card present.
I'm engaged with two providers, to which one belongs a SIM card, and I'm forced to open my phone and switch cards when I want to switch from one network to the other... that's really unconvenient !
The point would be to have both SIM cards dumped in my phone's memory, and choose one from a software option.
I'm using a WM6 flashed HTC P3300, if that's of any use.
Thanks a lot !
I never heard about virtual SIMcard in unit memory - but you have standard solution - dualsim ( you can find different solutions - but check before buy - not all working proprly with WM phone .

thanks for your answer
this not exactly not what I need, but I'll check in that way too
No that's pretty much exactly what you need.
You want to be able to use two carriers simultaneously (or at least psuedo simultaneously) without opening the phone and manually changing SIM cards.
As far as I know this is the ONLY way to do that. And it's still not perfect. Like he said make sure the device you get is 3G compatible or it won't work right. Also if you look around they have a device that looks like vice grips with a small cookie cutter welded to it. This is what you need to cut the sim chip. you can try with a scissors but try explaining to your wireless carrier why you need a new sim card.
Also it's tough ordering over the internet because you need to make sure that whatever you get will actually fit in your specific phone (they are all designed to take a standard sim chip but NONE are "designed" to take one of these things. some work in some phones but not in others. The newer ones (which you'll need since you need 3G) usually have an "automatic" setting which basically switches back and forth between carriers without you touching it.
Good luck!
Or u can use Super SIM read here http://www.nowgsm.com/GSM6in1.htm
i also wanted to do the same thing - has anybody tried such a dual sim adapter in a treo by a chance?
also, the sim cards are definitely v2 as they've been issued within the last year and have 3g compatibility;
i'd really love to hear if it worked for somebody before i go ahead and cut the chip out of my sims
Hello is it possible to make a CDMA Telus Canada HTC Snap, work on Rogers Canada GSM networks, i see there is a Sim Card Spot for international Roaming but i was wondering is there a way too unlock it so i can use it on Rogers here in Toronto ?
Good news for Canadian readers – not only is the HTC Touch Pro 2 and HTC Snap going to show up soon Telus, but the CDMA EVDO devices will also be so-called World Edition devices ie. they will contain GSM circuitry allowing the devices to be used outside the confines of North America on GSM networks in Europe, East and Africa.
It appears such World Edition devices are becoming increasingly common on CDMA networks as the technology faces inevitable winding down in the near future.

They don't even have the common courtesy to have devices that boot. Like you can easily see how it works by just looking at it.
Lame.

The HTC snaps they have don't have a trackball (which I would prefer).
here is what they have.
Just an update. Not sure if anybody is still wondering about this... but i have successfully unlocked a Telus HTC Snap and am currently using full data / exchange etc.
just have to update the gprs settings. also it thinks it is roaming.
I wanna get a custom 6.5 ROM on it, but I have yet to verify if anybody has been able to do it successfully. Anybody know? Maybe i will start a new thread...

I have a sprint phone working on the tmobile network since October without any issue until last week when i have to send it to samsung to repair the speaker. Got the phone this morning and it seems that samsung did a master reset and revert the unlock status. The funny things is that i called sprint few times today and the phone appear unlock on their system and told me that there was nothing they could do that i should call samsung. The Costumer service rep from samsung told me that it was posible that the master reset reverted the unlock status and that she created a case #bc she didnt know how to fix this and that someone will contact me regarding this issue in the next 72hrs.
I spent about 4 hr calling sprint, samsung and tmobile trying to fix thus issue and they for the most part just play ping-pon with me so if someone know how to fix this issue please let me know
Thanks

For me, my device was already unlocked... so unlocking it fails.
Otherwise, it should say that it was successful.
Just did a temp unlock on mine. Have 30 days. Can i use another firmware to flash Nougat?
