Can't connect to network printer - Galaxy Note 3 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

My network printer hp officejet pro 8600 works fine but I cannot connect to it using print bot nor samsung print nor hp direct print. The phone cannot find the printer even though it is active functioning and on the same network. Any suggestions?

Network Printing and Faxing

Is it possible to print from a network printer? At my office, we have a laser printer setup on a network. I use my laptop that is using wifi to print all the time. Is it possible for my ppc 6800 to do the same with its wifi connection. I am in and out of the office all the time, and do not want to drap out my laptop to print a file that I can also receive on my device.
Also, is it possible to fax a file that I receive from this device? Our stores do not have email capabilities (what century is this anyway...lol).
Thanks!
Yes, I use a program called JetCet. It has a lot of options, which include printing from network shared printers.

Printing with Tab

Hi
The tab obviously supports printing.
But how do I add a network printer there?
I am connected with wireless. Within my network I am having an HP inkjet network printer. Connected via ethernet to the network.
How can I utilize this printer with the tab?
Anyone managed?

Would also like to know the answer to that one too

I have used PrinterShare from the Market and sucessfully printed documents. If there are any other solutions, then I would love to hear about them.
The only problem I found is its insisting to use letter instead of A4 when printing.

Tethering to iPad with BT PAN (or any other way)

So where do we stand? Has ANYONE successfully connected their touch to an iPad for BT PAN?
Me:
Touch cdma. Bell, NFSFAN 6.1, iPad2 32gb no 3G
Try to connect, BT pairs, but iPad and phone both say Not connected and won't connect.
I'm in the same boat with my Blackberry Playbook!

Hi sorry for reposting this but here's my connection:
My entire house has internet wifi connection from a bridged router connected via ethernet to a XP computer that has a windows network connection bridge between my Vogue's NDIS USB and computer's network card.
Always had dropped connections every couple of minutes with vista and windows 7 tethering directly. Found NDIS drivers for XP, made an internet bridge and connection now lasts at least a few days to a week!
This comes in handy since my location can only connect to internet via dialup or satellite.
Not the fastest, but 1.5mbs is far better than dialup, and we have 2 laptops, iphone, ereader, bluray player (netflix), X10 devices, and android phone all connected to it with wifi. Really wish we had DSL or cable here, but the companies don't want to bother supplying it to our neighborhood.
So basically my desktop becomes a basic internet and 4TB storage server for all the other devices in our home.

Print server error

hi, I have a problem with the print server. I use it in an office with 6 PCs connected to the network. The problem is that sometimes it prints many pages with strange characters.
the printer is a lexmark e352dn, regularly recognized by cups via ppd.
the raspberry is connected to a network via LAN a cisco linsys e3000 router. The 6 computers are windows (7 and 10).
the printer is connected via the usb port to the raspberry.
I usually print these strange characters when I print from a web page (e-mail receipts or when I open the pdf in the browser) but sometimes it does so with word 2010.
The printer is just usb and is far from the other computers, so I thought of connecting it to the rasp and sharing it with the others. I checked this morning and in the printer properties it is not connected to any ip address, as if it were not connected via ip. practically I went in ret, I looked for the printer among the shared resources and I installed the drivers through windows on windows
