Bought the Transformer and chose ship to store.
Got an email telling me it would be available for pickup from the 12th to the 22nd.
I called BestBuy to confirm and got a confirmation.
Got an email yesterday saying it would be available for pick up the 8th.
Got an email today saying it wouldn't be available for pickup.
Called BestBuy again, and the guy told me that it wasn't available anywhere and canceled my order.
I am pissed, waiting since the 26 and now no more tablet...Just going to go pick up an Iconia instead...
Did anyone else have this problem?

Well I don't shop at Best Buy anymore. I have been lied to by their sales people about their extended warranty. They lied to me saying if I bought their warranty, they will replace an item if it broke. When it broke, guess what? They didn't replace it and they took a month to fix it.
Note: Use your American Express or Visa Signature card and get a free one year warranty on top of a one year warranty. You don't even have to register the product.
If you don't use the credit cards above or want a longer warranty, use Squaretrade. Make make sure you google an online coupon code for around 30% off. A 3 year warranty for the Asus Transformer is $40 with a 30% off coupon code from Squaretrade.

Yeah I bought a tv from them with extended warranty. When the screen had a warped image they couldn't confirm the problem because they refused to plug an antennae into it. If they wouldn't do that then what did they do for diagnosis.

Pretty sure they are the biggest electronics store chain in the US and are nowhere near going bankrupt.

I stopped by Frys and bought an acer iconia...not sure when the transformer will be available...i would love to own a transformer but I am done waiting

tried iconia myself.....with a higher price tag, its screen is not as good as the transformer and I heard its battery life is really poor...plus you'll miss the docking station (which is the killer feature for me)

With the Dock it comes out more expensive than the Iconia itself.
I bought a leather case for it with an integrated keyboard off ebay. Works well and now that I rooted and froze the bloatware that can't be uninstalled I got 20 hours of battery with moderate use (WIFI on all the time)
back on topic. It seems that a lot of stores are canceling orders or just pushing back the orders saying it is out of stock.

No problems with BBY here. The ****ing (as you put it) Best Buy website was amazingly quick. I ordered yesterday in the 24 minute rush and it had 0-1 days to process. This morning it still said InProcess, so I called them to change the shipping from free ground to overnight. ****ing Best Buy told me no, there is no way to change it. It turns out it isn't ****ing Best Buy, it was due to the fact that they had already shipped it and UPS had not passed back the tracking number yet.
So **** this and **** that, I'm getting my ****ing tablet very ****ing fast through the ****ing Best Buy website. **** yeah.
... and once more. ****ing Best Buy. I won't say rocks, but they did their ****ing job, thanks BBY.

Bought my tablet from Best Buy on launch day. Ordered it online at 530ish and got it two days later couldnt be happier. Took it a week later to best buy to see if itd fit a netbook case for it and all the more techie employees wanted to check it out excited for when they could finally get it in stock at the store themselves. Shocked even by how much better it was over the acer. I ended up getting the netbook case I liked. And not getting the million other accesories i couldve bought for it. yes i know best buy computer accesiories are overpriced but they have a large selection of everything and hire so many people. If you don't like it don't shop from them but i've never had a problem with their service.

OK, **** Best Buy. After my call to Best Buy this morning when I was informed that my tablet was out of shipping it was then change to back-ordered. Bastards.
I called them and supposedly BBY is getting shipments from Asus daily and adjusted my shipping to overnight to compensate. We'll see.
If luck is with me, overnight will beat the free 5-8 day ground shipping.

Ordered from Best Buy morning of 4/26 for p/u in store (16g) on 5/11. Received the email that it wouldn't be available for p/u on 5/10 (day before I was to p/u). Called and was told there was NO estimated time I could get it. Ordered a 32g from Tiger Direct yesterday morning and it's in transit to me as we speak, I should have it tomorrow. Cancelled the BB order today. But I'm not even entirely convinced I would have ever received the BB order anyways. Who knows... sounds like some people have had some luck.

Well, it seems luck favors the bold. I was willing to tempt fate and take the Best Buy people at their word when they told me shipments were coming in frequently, multiple times a day even.
I have a tracking number as of a few minutes ago and I am impatiently waiting on them to get the physical box on the way. Way to go ****ing Best Buy.

Ordered from Tigerdirect as well. Really glad I did, mine should be in hand tonight! Thank god, I really didn't want to have to resort to getting an Iconia instead.

Yeah Iconia wasn't an option for me. Glad to report TD has come through!! UPS delivered my 32g Transformer to me @ work a few hours ago. Step 1 complete - now I need to get the dock.

I'm excited to get one soon but is it really that serious? I mean I'm glad yours is almost there but I don't understand everybody's lack of patience. What did everyone do before it came out?

VOTE - Carphone warehouse exchange

I traded in my SGS2 at the carphone warehouse (UK) - got £200.10 for it, which is pretty good.
After I had handed over the phone and signed the forms etc, they told me the money would be credited back to my card within 10-14 days after it had been checked over.
This set alarm bells ringing as I had rooted and installed several different custom roms. I didnt use triangle away or nor a usb jig. I did however flash a standard samsung stock rom before handing back and factory reset etc.
Do you think I will get my money??? Cast your votes!

It depends on CPW's terms, if they are just going to recycle it possibly not, if they will sell it on as a refurbished phone, they might drop the price a little, as I say it depends on their trade in terms.

i received £230 a while back even when I had several scratches on the screen and dents on the case with custom ROM

Did you do it instore or online? i work there if its in store it is normally within a week

Did it instore. It did have a few scratches on screen and a few scuffs on top. But in full working condition.

Did you hand it back with a custom rom already on it?

if you did it instore you will be fine, once the sales consultant has looked at it, it is boxed up and a sent away you will be quids in a few days because it done on your debit or credit card processed like a refund i reckon thursday tops.

Money landed in my account today. £200.10 is not bad considering I never had a case on it nor a screen protector and the front screen was quite badly scratched!
Relieved not doing triangle away didnt cost me! Happy days.

i did the same has yourself,got £204.00 for my s2,it was a great deal...money was in my account 4days later...
the guy told me my s2 would be broke up and scrapped...they are worth more that way...thought the service of cpw was fantastic

Since the 10.1 2014 launched I knew I was going to buy one, I wanted to find a good deal on it though. I got my Black 32GB for $480 shipped! $120 off retail ain't bad.... :good:
What I did:
Go to Amazon and select the Black 32GB, there will be Used ones listed below. Amazon Warehouse is selling "Open Box" ones for $533 in "Good" condition. I looked for one that had the description that said: "Packaging may be damaged" as the only disclaimer. Then during checkout, apply for the Amazon Rewards card and they will give you a $50 gift card instantly that you can apply to the order. You don't even have to use the Amazon card, you just have to apply for it. Free money! I had it shipped with Free 2 day Prime shipping and when it arrived it looked like it never was used. The box had a couple rips on it, thats it. The tablet is in perfect condition.
For my money, I think you can't go wrong.

when the are sent back, does Amazon look into them and like restart and fix the item?! or they just put it in a box and send it to us? is it what's called refurbished?!

But a word of caution to anyone going the eBay route, Samsung will not honor their warranty unless you purchase the device from an authorized dealer.
If you're planning on tripping the KNOX counter with root though, you won't have to care.

Not necessarily at all. It's like people that buy stuff at Best Buy. They just decide they don't want it and send it back. I have used mine a ton since I got it and it works perfect. So I don't know how it could be a bad one. It's not refurbished, that would have to be done by the manufacturer. This would be constituted as "open box".

This is a good point and opens up a new discussion. My theory: I think that people are being very dishonest and buying these tablets to simply get the free perks and then are returning them. I mean heck, you get $75 in free movies/music/apps! Mine when I got it still had all the Perks papers in the box. However, when I went to register on the site it said it was already registered. I opened a ticket with Samsung chat today and the rep said that in 2 days I should get an email from an elevated team that will give me the perks. I was very vague in my dialog. I simply said I bought it from Amazon and it would let me register the device on Samsung.com but would not let me register for the perks. He took all my info and left me waiting to hear from the other team. But I have a copy of the chat transcript that says I will get my perks in 2 days. I think they will have to honor that... In any case, I really don't care that much if I don't get them. Honestly all I wanted was this awesome tablet. And for the price I got it, it's a steal. If I get Perks too, then yay for me!
So you could def get lucky and buy one that the person didn't steal the Perks out of... A gamble I guess.

Make sure you check your gmail under the promotions tab. I thought some kind of funny business was going on with my tablet since I also got the "already registered" message when trying to claim my perks, but it turns out their page for it can be hit or miss (found lots of complaints online). Meanwhile the perks were sitting in my promo folder all along...

YOU MAY BE OVER LOOKING SOMETHING
Below is a copy of the Standard Limited Warranty and according to the warranty by purchasing it used you don't have a warranty.
So if it was registered........... There goes your savings as you now need to purchase a warranty.
I would buy an extended warranty with damage protection anyway because micro USB ports are known to be fragile and I would want to experiment with root. Still a savings though.
What is covered and for how long?

is there even a way for Samsung to know where you purchased it? You can technically say it's a gift and they would have to cover you

499 tax free for 16 MB model at Military Exchanges...got mine today, good stuff, except can't play with it until tomorrow...on a road trip right now.

Just an update, I got an email from Samsung today and I got my perks! So I am not sure if the tablet truly was already registered for it or if the site was just having troubles but they sent me codes.

Be careful I bought one of these last week and it didn't have an s pen. A bit ticked off but amazon gave me credit to buy an s pen at my local store. There's 2 very minor scratch on the bottom but not very noticeable unless you really look. Also some light bleed. Otherwise the tablet is fine. Considering it has some scratch I would assume it was a returned used unit. Still not a bad deal but I'm a bit concerned. I was able to register the device so I'm good with warranty coverage I assume.

Yeah I hear ya, that's why I looked for one that only had the description that said the packaging was damaged. They were right on, my tablet is perfect. Minimal light bleed and not a scratch on it. I think that all units are going to have a little light bleed, its just the nature of the beast. The missing s-pen is a fluke I'm sure.
I am assuming the same things about warranty, they would never know if I bought this used if I am the first one to register it... So warranty should be fine

Galaxy Note 4 Pre-Order NIGHTMARE!!!!

So I pre-ordered the note 4 on the 24th like eveyone else super excited to receive info that it shipped early. Sure enough Monday comes and goes I cleared my schedule waiting for ,Ups and checked outside to find notice on my door that they tried to deliver but never rang bell or knocked on door. Was too late to hold for pickup so they said it would go out on tues. called around 5pm to find out it wasnt on truck for delivery. Put a hold for pickup and went down to station to find out they cannot locate package and they have placed an investigation on it and that it might of been stolen??? Kidding me??? dont they have cameras in factory. Tmobile was very understanding and said they would overnight one which should of arrived today only to find out its still pending shipping even though my other would of arrived Monday and they told me this doesnt get released until friday so with overnight shipping wont arrive until monday. even though the Pre-order ones were released early. Now im without a phone for rest of week as Like anyone I sold my galaxy note 3 on ebay and already shipped it out. I would of just risked getting in store tomorrow but now I have double charges on my credit card until they find original. This sucks anyone else ever have issue with UPS :crying:

Ever heard of Murphy's law?? Sorry to hear bro but I've never had problems with ups so far maybe it's just one of those freak accidents

Forgive me - I don't mean to come off sounding critical - but why in the name of.....would you sell your previous phone before you had even gotten the new phone in hand? I can't imagine ever doing that - there are just too may odd possibilities that could happen - hind sight is 20 20 - but this one could have obviously been avoided if you had just waited until the new phone was in your hands before you sold the previous phone.
having said that - I am sorry you had problems - and hope, for your sake that your new phone gets here soon.

I placed a pre-order from tropical_mobile on eBay since I decided the H815 model was the best choice overall, for me. They offered two day shipping as well, so it was sort of a no brainer at that point. I paid a few pennies shy of $700, but they have since significantly dropped the price down to $630, so your patience will be rewarded if you decided to wait! As their listing states, it comes with some goodies, and I thought I may as well post a few pics of said goodies in case anyone was wondering.
There is no extra back piece included. Just thought I'd get that out of the way in case anyone was wondering. It only comes with the back that you ordered. In my case, that's the black leather - and I love it!
I'm a bit peeved that I could've saved $70 by waiting a few days, but I'm one impatient as hell sonofabitch, so I'll just deal with it haha.

I paid $646 for mine and very next day it was dropped to $629. No biggie at all cause a si said, the phone came faster than expected

I ordered from them as well. Mine had a tracking number issued but sat for 3 days saying label created. After emailing them it magically moved (could be coincidence) and is now on plane for delivery tomorrow. Ordered at $646 for non leather back and saw it dropped: no biggie as I signed for PayPal credit to finance over 6 months. If I don't like it, Swappa here it comes!

i did get a pretty generic gray adapter from them. Seems its the same most ebay phone sellers supply.

Why even include all that extra garbage? I will just throw all that extra trash away. They should have included an extra that is actually worth something, like an extra back cover or an extra battery.
I ordered a brown leather G4 from them last night by the way for $629. Already got a Fedex notification that it should be here tomorrow morning. Said something about Singapore. Crazy if it ships from there in a day and a half.

Strange.. ordered on monday morning and havent receive a tracking number from ebay... will create a account on fedex to see what happens.

Mine just showed up at home and I ordered it last Wednesday. I can not wait for work to be over.

You sure? I got no email from eBay or Tropical Mobile telling me that it shipped. I only know they sent it because I have a Fedex account that is set up to notify me when a packaged is sent that is addressed to me.
It is coming direct from Singapore by the way. Confirmed.

Ordered from them, didnt use the screen protector included though, I just left the one that was pre applied on the phone (yes I know)

Go naked. The screen is curved a little so even if you set it face down, the screen won't be touching and won't get scratched.

I picked up one from them as well, red leather.
I paid $674 on Saturday, they sent me a tracking number on Monday, and the phone arrived this morning in good working order.
So far, I think this is an awesome phone, and although I could have saved a few bucks by not being impatient, it was worth the 674 to me at the time, so it's hard to say I got hosed.
Either way, great seller, hopefully I won't be using them for a long time!

true true. however I have always had issues with my screens getting scratched, it drives me nuts!

Is that a particular FedEx feature? I just created an account but dont see that option/setting anywhere

Those of you who already received the order from this seller, can you post the full model number? I'd like to know the bands that it supports. I want to use it with Bell in Canada but also in south america (Chile)
