Use the toolkit to return to factory stock. There should be an option to return to stock. Good luck

Try this toolkit. Download link is in the bottom.
http://www.wugfresh.com/nrt/
Download all the necessary files when the program starts.
Turn on phone to bootloader mode by holding power button and volume button down. Go to the toolkit when and select "Flash stock + Unroot".
Wait for it to do all the work.

This is what I had to do as well last week. I had twrp installed and it caused an issue I believe.
All set now but I lost some data. My own fault for assuming it would go smoothly. I did not make a back up.
Sent from my shiny new(bought last Nov), scratch less Nexus 4!
i tried with this toolkit but nothing!
i think that the problem are the drivers! may be??

I think I did something silly!
From the UK. I rooted my phone a while back after my friend told me all about it. I used the Nexus Toolkit V2.0.0
I am selling the phone and needed to go back to stock. So I flashed stock android 4.2.2. back successfully.
Then I saw this option saying Unroot on the toolkit (Option 4 the Option 5 (Unroot, uninstall Busybox + CMN recovery)), So I did that without thinking and now when I boot the phone it gets stuck on the Nexus X loading screen. When I turn it off it just starts up again and goes back into the Nexus X loading screen.
What do I do? Thanks!

ask the toolkit developer.
the right way to do it(unroot and go back to stock) is to not use a toolkit, but to flash the factory via fastboot.

I rooted my Nexus 7 a few months back and I was still using stock android 4.2.2. Today I decided I wanted to start using 4.3 but when I tried to update it gave me an error. I then proceeded to do a factory reset on my tablet hoping that would help, it didn't now it wouldn't let me click the buttons or connect to any Google services. I then downloaded the Nexus Root Toolkit and clicked the Flash Stock + Unroot button. I proceeded with all the steps but when my computer said it was finished my tablet didn't restart, I tried to turn it on but it keeps saying "Booting Failed" I need help please!!! Thank you for any help.

How did you do that fix?
I've tried everything with this thing and I haven't been getting any luck, I hope you guys can help me.
Here are the details:
Bought an unlocked T-Mobile Nexus 4 off Ebay Version 4.3
Tried to root it using this method: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2019273
I made a mistake around step 13 I think
It turns on, goes to the Google and unlock symbol, and just stays there. If I wait long enough it goes to the Nexus X, but it just stays there as well
I wiped the phone, wiped the chach, wiped everything I could to reboot it to factory settings, no luck
Any help would be appreciated, I know I probably messed up by trying to root it on a mac when it would have been straightforward to just do it with a toolkit on a PC.
Thanks!
1. Your phone is not bricked.
2. Flash the factory images.
3. Never use a toolkit.

Unlock bootloader > Flash TWRP (custom recovery) > Flash supersu binary or flash a custom rom via TWRP
A detailed guide that elaborates upon these steps is here.

I had that once. I had to flash stock recovery with a tool kit and go in and factory reset. Unfortunately it quoted my SD card but I was able to boot up afterwards
Sent from my Nexus 4 using Tapatalk 4
I searched all the internet and can't find any soliution to this.
Here are some examples (didn't find any of N4, but these are the same):
Some additional information:
It happens only on 4.3 or later (including 4.4 port) ROMs or stock OS.
It started when 4.3 came, i updated it officialy (my phone wasn't rooted/unlocked yet)
There were some times on 4.3 stock when it booted after half an hour, but I couldn't boot it again after next shutdown.
I can get to the recovery mode.
I tried to wipe everything, bring it back to factory state, but this thing still, happens. The only way I can use my phone is to have 4.2.2 ROMs/stock (I use cyanogenmod).
Any ideas on how to fix it?
EDIT: Solved by:
1. Flashing stock 4.2.2
2. Trying to officially update
3. Phone doesn't install the update, but goes to recovery instead?!?
4. Flashing official 4.3 with flash-all.bat
Man, you are lucky I saw this. This just happened to me today too and I freaked out. You need to download the radio from 4.2.2. Then manually fastboot install. Once you've done that everything works again and no more bootloop. I guess I accidentally wiped the firmware when installing 4.4. Anyways look for that and I promise you'll find it. I'll look for the post I found and post the link. I promise that's the issue.
I would recommend to download the toolkit and flash stock image. Make sure to backup all your files; it will wipe out everything.

Does your baseband show "Unknown" in the phone settings?
I had the same problem some weeks ago. Fixed it by flashing the stock 4.3 image again and again. The 3rd time it worked.
Here is a photo of my Fastboot screen :crying:

No, it shows the one I flash. Did you flash using flash-all.bat or in recovery or using adb, and which one jwr666y or jwr66v?

Flash-all.bat. The other way is through Fastboot. You can't install images through adb or recovery directly.

Greets,

If you can define the procedure you followed for updating to Android 5.0.1, then I can think of something.

Well, your phone isn't dead but you might have to wipe your phone. I'd start with doing a factory reset in the stock recovery. That will wipe your device
Sent from my Nexus 9 using XDA Free mobile app
Go to stock recovery and you can trying wiping /cache first, and then reboot. If that does not work, go back and do a full wipe.
Did you use the toolkit? If so, this happens everytime for some reason. Your phone is not broken. Just give it some time after rebooting and should bring you to the setup menus.
