Seller is quite obviously an XDA member.
EDIT: Guessing this is "public domain" stuff from XDA, too...

I think the thing i like best about his website is this:

But then it gets better.. at the bottom of the page it states this:

In all fairness (I didn't look at his website) what you quoted isn't racism. It's bigotry, no doubt, but I don't see anything specific to race.
Anyway, what a tool. You can tell his plan was well thought out.

The reason I ask, and ok, I did fall for it, before I knew a bit more about the unlocker from this site.. I thought it was an alternative method, and it was v3 of the very same software!!!
Some advice would be appreciated......

The king james bible IS NOT signed by a publisher or author, which is WHY it can be redistributed.. however, software contains signatures by the developer.

Inetmediasolutions is a dodgy VERO holder - see here:

Exactly, I do also. I busted a guy trying to do the same thing on craigslist a few months ago and he stopped.
I think this guy went to the Helen Keller school for web design.

if that company has it copyrighted and you can prove that you created it first you have a law suite. i dont know how microsoft or htc would react.

HTC / Microsoft won't do anything and if they really do, the would go after XDA first that's because the program is developed by XDA.

Right, but mods can relay requests to admins if they feel they're valid... I think of them as the liaison between the members and admin(s), so they're not bothered by "I NEEDZ TEH OMNIA FORUMMM".
By the way, is there more than 1 admin? Flar's the only one I've ever seen/spoken with.

I called the MAIN sony Ericsson Service in Poland today
and talked to a very nice and competent man
He has weekly videoconferences with :se:
regarding service and technical issues
So - he noted everything I said
he will pass this further/higher!
I told him all the "truth" regarding this device
and also that in the end I want
to be rather a happy se customer
than a pitbull fighting with the company.
The problem is I don't really see any alternative for X2.

when i was reading your other post on your filings sbouth X2 afther MR1 upgrade I got an idea. Every user who has problems when using X2 should write an email to SE and resend it every single DAY. They will have to do something.
Even I am sick of X2, when it stops working using even only the basic features, and I got it for free. X2 is an embarassement. When I was sitting by the table in a coffie shop I proudly put my X1 on the table. But then with X2 its not the same. X2 is left in my pocket and not on the table.
Today I was driving from work and I wanted to use Gmaps and GPS just for fun and when I turned on the GPS the google maps crashed. I was so pissed I almost crashed my car.
X2 Should be a premium device. It looks like one, costs like one. But it just doesnt act like one (and it also could have newer HW).
Shure SE had to finish X10 but what abouth us WM xperia fans!? We helped xperia brand to puck up back in 2008. Are we just piles of $h1t to them?
If the upgrade in may (6.5.3) isnt perfect Im quiting SE (and I was a total fan since T68i).
Its up to SE.

Good Luck To All You Guys, I Won't Be Buying A Sony Ericsson Again. Shame, because this would have been my third s.e flagship phone i'd had and before my x1 broke 3 times, i was really considering buying one.
But after reading this, i'm glad i didnt. Never going to s.e again. Htc or LG this time, maybe a Toshiba if it ever comes out, or possibly android. So Many Options..

Yeah. It can be called a "public promise". But imagine a court suit with SE They'd probably soon give my back my money. Or maybe it will be more fun to annoy them so they actually make the phone work.

How to get app reviewed and increase the downloads??

People who has downloaded the app used it have given good rating and feedback. But still downloads are not at all increasing.
All my request to app info sites for review has not been replied or they will ask for money
Looks like there is no scope for good developers with no budget

That's not true: if the app is worth it will be reviewed by some important site such as xda portal (for free) and will start getting a good amount of downloads. Of course you need to keep on promoting on the forums etc.
By the way, what's your application?

I don't know it was my experience till now. Had sent review request for several sites but without any luck.
BTW my app is True Launcher on Play

I can't find it. Maybe there is a problem with the distribution settings in the developer console?

I've had more success sharing my app on Reddit and tweaking the keywords in the description than with review sites myself.
I have also added a review prompt in the latest version which seems to be helping so far, fingers crossed.

Google Play has some free channel to help developers promote their apps, but that requires some downloads in some days or something like that.
So, you can try make cooperation with someone, and recommand your app via partner channel.
then you may have the chance of listing in Top New Free to Google Play. :laugh:

I think here XDA forum is also a place for hunting partners :lol

Getting some websites to review your app sure can be challenging. Those websites get hundreds of emails a day and it is hard to scan through all of them, but some of them might pick you up on the offer.
I personally posted on Reddit and it didn't get much attention...I might need to try it again, but maybe people didn't like the app...

I believe that the best always rises to the top.You do not even need to market your app.It only takes a man to download your app and get the ball rolling.If your blog is interesting and useful,you don’t need to do much else.Example of this is the popularity of Instagram.

This only works for some very special cases; for the others, a bit of "push" is necessary.

To my mind, the quality of the app does evrything by itself.

We had the same problem after we have launched (https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/good-weather/id601784766).
We found out that the best way is to approach our users who were engaged with the app.
We thought of a compelling way to ask them to rate us at the store /share the app with a friend/ tweet etc and it worked beyond our expectations...
Bottom line - when you ask someone who likes you nicely at the right time you are much more likely get respond.
We have since decided to develop it to a product which other developers can use - www.kudos-kit.com

Right now Reddit is a good way to promote your app, but best way is here in XDA.
Also, post it on forums allways can help a lot, since most of review sites are not free....

On the presentation page of the OPO, i read that:

However, while it's a huge lie from Oneplus, the OPO does not feature any stereo speaker. Just two mono speakers wired on the same mixed channel. Considering that my only two choices where HTC M8 and OPO, for this feature, i was quite disappointed when i got mine :|
