I've flashed legend rom, v1.2 working great, then I saw 2.0 update, installed that, super fine.. But my wifi dose not work.. What now? I've tryed to go to recovery and install v1.2 again. guess what...

I cant full wipe, cuz I have to go in to recovery for that, and It dose not work. Now I'm trying to get my data working, so I can try with s-voice method.
Well that didn't work...
Ok, I'm done for the night.
Status:
- Phone works.
- Wifi Dose not work.
- I managed to get data working So I have Internet connection.
- Can not reset the phone.
- Can not access the recovery (Tried to flash recovery in Odin I get trough fine, but at the end it says failed because of protection for writing or something like that..)
-
First of all I have to say that I've created this account just to share what I did with this problem. It took me, after doing dozens of hard reset and flashing firmwares, 10 minutes. Maybe, the seller never activated the phone (that's what happened to me) and this screen is appearing by mistake. So what you have to do if this is your case is to connect the headphones that came with the phone and press the button for 1-2 sec. Then the SVoice will apear and there you can use voice commands. So you just say "Start Settings" and it will open the setting where you have to activate the reactivation lock (maybe isn't necessary, but that way worked) but this time using your samsung account. Then you just have to do a factory reset (from the settings, not from the recovery) and your phone will be unlocked. It will restart and then you can set it up normally. Hope this works for you as it do for me.

Click to collapse
THAT method didn't work. It only opens the settings, not the initial set up..
-
goto accessibility option which is available on the first screen where you select language..then goto text to speech option..then from the settings goto install voice data and try to download any language..it will ask you to enter samsung account details...enter your own samsung account details..once the download is complete..go back to screen where it was showing abnormal factory reset adn then enter your samsung account..it will go through..
Click to collapse
THAT method Didn't work also, I cant factory reset the phone...
- When I try to reset the phone from the settings, it just closes..
- If I try to press reactivation lock, it force close on me (Settings)
- What I've want to do: I want to flash any kind of STOCK rom to my phone using odin, I don't have any intention to flash any other custom rom until CM or some kind of stock rom comes out.. Now I'm not in hurry cuz my phone works, but It would be nice to use wifi as normal..
Thanks for the help brother @Killberty
I will press thanks to anyone who tries to help me, or actually helps me with that problem.
Have a good night.
Cheers!

If you have the note booted, can't you turn reactivation lock off and try flashing again?
Flashing with reactivation lock caused the problem, turning off might fix BUT I would probably flash a official rom using Mobile Odin Pro...
Hmm, I cant turn it off. Settings force closes on me..
However I didn't try mobile odin, it might work!
Will try it now, and I'll report back.
Edit: Mobile Odin flash worked, but now my phone doesn't want to boot..
It booted, but the first thing I saw was: Unfortunately Samsung Keyboard stopped...
I thought to myself, ok no bigge, I'll go trough initial setup, and then install some other keyboard.. but then the problem appeared..
This device is locked because of an abnormal factory reset. Sign in to the Samsung account that you have already signed in to on this device to confirm that it belongs to you.
Superb! I did sign in with my account, before.. But what to do now? My keyboard doesn't' work and I can't bypass this screen. I can get to recovery (normal not rooted) I cant root the phone, because Odin fails, I cant flash stock firmware because odin fails.. what now? I hate Samsung with so much passion I cant describe it right now.. WHY THE F**U***C****K DID THEY HAD TO DO THAT?!
And I can't just take my phone back to service, because my knox is 0x1 woohooo.. GREAT HARDWARE most idiotic software that I've ever seen.. Even Apple is ahead of Samsung, I swear!
Btw I've brought that phone becuse of large screen 3gb ram and Cyanogen mod in future! Not because SAMSUNG SH!T
Hahah np if the keyboard doesnt work
Plug in an usb keyboard and there u go
EDIT: umm yeah knox warranty boid does not void your warranty, i read of many (20+) ppl who got warranty anyways

For some reason i cant hook my note up to my pc using usb.
I tried factory reset from the bootloader menu but the usb still doesnt connect to my pc.
Ive tried every driver possible but no pc will recognise my note.
After i factory reset, the phone had still remembered my altered boot.prop as its still in 360dpi.
What i want to try is to get my phone back to how it was when i first took it out its box. Hopefully then the usb will work, if not then ill send it for repair.
How can i do this?

Download your original rom to the phone, and use mobile odin? Dont know if that will trip knox.
Also you could try kies threw wifi
hi, i want get back orginal firmware with official status?
i updated that firmware with odin.. but phone still says that custom?
and if i try to get updates, it says that device is modified?
is there any fix for this? thanks.
There is no way you can get your warranty back now as I assume you have triggered knox.
You can try factory reset to get the official status and get ota updates.

Maybe theres a solution
I am not sure, but I returned my warrenty by flashing back to stock rom. It doesnt say custom. Be sure to delete data and cache before you flash another rom.
1) Download Odin 1.85v
2) Downlaod your stock rom from here samfirmware.com
2b) Extract it till you see a tar.md5 file
3) Put your phone in download mode.
4) Open Odin
5) Press PDA
6) Navigate to the tar.md5, select it
7) Then press start.

Official status doesn't mean that you have warranty. If you ever flashed something custom then you would have triggered knox. If knox gets triggered, you loose warranty permanently as knox counter can't be reset on i9500 till date.

They are not supposed to fix ur phone if knox is triggered but some people don't take trouble to see the knox if it is an easy fix for them.
So if you have a minor problem then most probably they will fix it but if it is a major one then you are in trouble

i don't know about it honestly while i flashed recovery coz its been more than a week when i flashed it. Actually when i first got the phone that day it self i flashed your v1 ROM but was getting some errors in it so i flashed back stock rom and rooted the device with TWRP as custom recovery. Today i thought of giving it another try of your rom and i ended up in this.
Now flashing stock rom is also not helping. Moreover i have also lost root now.
seems like i will be heading to samsung care tomorrow if i donot get any solution

There's a real easy fix if you're rooted...
What does the pop-up even say, you never explained
I think I solved the problem. I changed the file system to art and then back to dalvik. The lock and custom are gone on boot up now. Now I just gotta figure out why when trying to update, it says that the update service is temporarily unavailable.
Does your baseband and build number match? What did you flash?
I was rooted on NI2. Restored to stock NI2. Had the custom message with the padlock icon on startup. Finally changing to art and back to dalvik made the padlock go away.
