already tried doing it. I think i am also having some problem with KNOX.
the first time i tried rooting the phone the supersu did say KNOX detected disable it i clicked yes but it didn't disabled it successfully and after waiting patiently for 15 minutes i closed the app and reopened and this type it disabled KNOX. Do you think that might be the problem?

yes thats what the error mate Secure Fail: Recovery

There is some instructions about deactivate reactivation lock before flashing cwm (custom recovery)
Does your reactivation lock was enabled while you flashed recovery?
And what happened when you flashed ROM with odin? It was successful or ended with error?

i don't know about it honestly while i flashed recovery coz its been more than a week when i flashed it. Actually when i first got the phone that day it self i flashed your v1 ROM but was getting some errors in it so i flashed back stock rom and rooted the device with TWRP as custom recovery. Today i thought of giving it another try of your rom and i ended up in this.
Now flashing stock rom is also not helping. Moreover i have also lost root now.
seems like i will be heading to samsung care tomorrow if i donot get any solution

Phone stuck at boot - Help needed

hi guys
I have bought this samsung galaxy S4 I-9500, build number I9500XXUAMDK from someone, it was brand new and i rooted it successfully using Adam Kernel and ClockworkMod Recovery.
I didnt use it much, apart from downloading few apps and taking photos. The phone was then out of battery, i charged it fully and i switched it on and since then, stuck on boot (SAMSUNG logo)
I tried few things, among those: wipe cache, wipe data (using CWM) as well as removing battery but nothing helped
I finally followed the guide in this site to unroot the phone but wasn't sure about the country from which the phone was bought (I assumed Germany because it has the same build Germany MBC (May 2013) PDA: I9500XXUAMDK CSC: I9500MBCAMD6 Version 4.2.2)
I used ODIN to unroot and it passed successfully but i am having still the same issue (I also tried the wipe data and reset to factory)
I am running out of solutions and would be grateful if someone can help me or at least guide me to what to do and what i can test or try
many thanks again

I have followed the steps exactly as described and i downloaded these files:
I9500XXUAMDK_ROOT_ODEX
MODEM_I9500XXUAMDK
CSC_I9500MBCAMD6_HOME_MBC Germany
BOOTLOADER_I9500XXUAMDK
but the status is the same and i tried to wipe the cache in recovery but didn't help either
i am really worried now and don't understand why an original firmware cannot sort this issue?
I would really appreciate any suggestions if any
NB: I noticed after wiping the cache partition i get a green android icon with a red triangle (exclamation mark on it); is there some kind of issue with wiping the cache?
Also, in recovery mode i get 2 red lines stating: "failed to mount /sfa (invalid argument)" followed by 4 yellow lines MANUAL MODE,. Applying Multi-CSC, Applied the CSC-code: unknown & successfully applied multi-CSC
thanks

yes the same situation
i tried all advices and used 2 different stock firmware in case, still doesn't pass the boot
it's a new phone so i will try to take it to samsung but bit worried they might discover i tried to root it before
ODIN MODE states system status: custom
but if i don't have other choice then i guess i have to take it to them

How to root xxuemk4

(ALSO WORKS ON ALL 4.3 AND ON N7105)
1. dwnld and flash philz_touch_5.15.0-n7100.tar from odin for pda button.(flashing zip in recovery didnt work for me)
2. dwnld DrKetan_MultiTool_AdvanceV5 and copy to internal sdcard
3. go to recovery (in philz touch) and flash DrKetan_MultiTool_AdvanceV5 and proceed to "aroma file manager"
4. go to system/app in aroma and find and rename all the knox.apk files to knox.apk.bak(in short add ".bak") and dont touch files tat have .odex names (for ex. KNOX.odex)
5. save and exit aroma and reboot.
6. go to recovery again and flash the multitool and proceed and inject root and busybox and reboot.
7. dont open su now.go to play store and update su.
now u ve fully rooted and gud to go.........hit thanks if i helped.

[Q] back to stock firmware and recovery

Hi guys, I back my note 3 to stock and the recovery too. I used odin and my original rom from sammobile.
My problems is that when I try to look for update and tell me (snapshot)
All my phone is like factory one ...so why dont look for update?
My knox is 0x1 because I used a custom rom but I think that it not should be a problem to get update..

Really to back to stock one.. the only methodology to restore the stock firmare and stock recovery is the odin flash with original firmare .. place in the AP slot.. so .. I dont unterstand why I have this problem.

You might want to try to factory-reset again and eventually write again stock (right over the factory-reset).

No need for the bounty brother...
But then check sammobile.com for the correct firmware of your phone and download only 4.4.2.
Not a version less. I.e DO NOT FLASH 4.3 or 4.2.2.
They wont work at all and will brick your device too..
So stay calm..download your 4.4.2 firmware from sammobile.com and flash it via odin ^_^
Nothing more in that..
Report if some error occurs again.
Plus if you are carrier specific as i can see...
This might work for you...
http://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/3/?download=28866
Flash at your own risk brother..
Press Thanks if I helped

Haha..nothing great in that too..
●Flash philz recovery.
●deknox it first, then root it and then update supersu by turning the phone on.
●Now flash any rom by using philz ^_^
This long method is just to avoid complications..
Otherwise you can directly flash a rom via philz without deknoxing your phone..most roms a pre-deknoxed.

Not much though.
But have you tried downloading towelroot from towelroot.com?
It is a one touch rooting app.
