Hi all guys...I would to buy the lenovo a3000-h (the version with 4gb of storage and the expandable memory), I would root the tablet and swap the partition so I can install the apps on the sd...but I have some questions...I have to reflash the stock rom if I need the warranty, right? so how can I backup the stock firmware? If I backup it and, after root, I will reflash the stock rom, it will cover the trace of the root ( so I can use the warranty)?thanks

I bought a rooted Atrix with the GladAtrix ROM and I want to unroot the phone and return to stock rom. Is there a simple way to do this.
The best way I can think of is to flash an SBF on it.

This will restore the phone to the stock factory firmware and applications and clear the internal memory. Everything on the internal SD will be saved though.
I have rooted and I have twrp installed. I'm planking on installing some cm7 or cm9 ROM. I'm going to backup, wipe and all of that good stuff. My question is, if I flash back to stock, can I recover all of my apps from the backup?
what do you mean with "flash back to stock" ?
hopefully not flashing the original amazon rom !!!
you will loose fff, twrp and root - also some guys bricked it doing this
if you want to flash a stock rom i would recommend one of the prerooted stock roms:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=22393194&postcount=20
would backup your current stock rom, so you can restore it like it was including all apps (select the propper tags in twrp - tap all if you'r not shure)
im asking if i go back to stock, can i restore my apps and such. if thats not safely possible, can i transfer my backed up apps to cyanogenmod?
i don't know a way with twrp
for this is titanium backup from the market - you can save and restore apps as you like:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.keramidas.TitaniumBackup&feature=search_result#?t=W251bGwsMSwxLDEsImNvbS5rZXJhbWlkYXMuVGl0YW5pdW1CYWNrdXAiXQ..
so i cant transfer apps from my current stock to cm?
that's what titanium backup is supposed to do
ohh ok. thanks!!
glad to help ...

Hello guys,
I am new here and I have a questiom .. right now im using 4.3 firmware on my i9500 .. before i flashed it i made a backup of my 4.2.2 firmware through CWM to my sd card .. I wonder will i be able to restore it? Or this is the same case as downgrading and it may harm my phone?
Note: my phone is rooted and i installed the cwm but i am scared to hit restore on cwm
You woun't damage your phone.
Your phone will be restored to the exactly same state as it was at backup time.
Another question is how to restore your backup correctly
Google for clockwokmode, cwm, NANDroid backup
Hello.
I had my Note 3 with 4.3 firmware working properly but it's starting to give me problems so i guess it's time to upgrade to Kitkat with a fresh install.
I have the phone rooted and i have a lot of pictures, apps and tweaks i did (like un install bloatware...).
What's the best way to do a fresh update with latest rom and install back my pictured and apps?
Thank you
If you have a phone with unlocked bootloader then just download the KitKat ROM of your choice (I recommend same region ROM as your living location, like if you are in UK download the UK KitKat ROM) from www.sammobile.com, and flash with Odin in desktop. Before doing that take a system wide backup with Titanium Backup Pro and send the backup to your PC. Then go to recovery, and wipe everything (master wipe) and then flash the KitKat ROM as I said at beginning.
The restore process via Titanium is different than taking backup though, you can't restore by using the option system wide restore, that will create problems, you will need to use restore missing applications with data option.
Ok thank you for the info.
I will do as you suggest.
Wish me luck with the restore specially.
Please people, I need TWRP backup of stock rom, so I can install official firmware through TWRP, because my phone doesn't allow me to install stock recovery, guess because internal storage fault.
