Please people, I need TWRP backup of stock rom, so I can install official firmware through TWRP, because my phone doesn't allow me to install stock recovery, guess because internal storage fault.

I am having a problem installing a custom ROM... I root the device using CF-Autoroot and Philz Recovery. TIBU confirms the phone is rooted.
I boot into recovery, then try to install a ROM which is on the ext-SD card. I do a full wipe using Philz Recovery.
When I try to restart the phone, I get a bootloop, NO MATTER WHICH ROM I am trying to install. Then I have to go through the hassle of downloading the original firmware using KIES
and start all over again.
Any help or thoughts will be greatly appreciated.
Wipe before flashing
You must do the full wipe before flashing a new ROM, not after (Because if you are wiping /system after flash, you are leaving your device without OS)
And remember, flash gapps after first boot, not after flashing The rom
P.S you can do a full Nandroid Baclup before flashing a new ROM, because if you get stuck in bootloop again, you can simply enter to recovery and restore backup

hello. i have ale-21 and after i tried install a failed update, i am in this situation:
1. can't root because after flashed recovery for root i can't access in recovery (black screen)
2. even if i flash twrp it can't be able to wipe for error mount.......
i tried reflash vendor 049 and return to b133 firmware but same situation.
is there a way to do a complete re-format phone and repartitioning all (internal memory and all partitions) to return to stock status?

Hi. After instaling TWRP and some custom roms, i got one big problem. my samsung a5 2016, showing only 4 gb of internal storage. this phone should have 16gb. I download official firmware from samsung site and flash with odin also, and i still have same problem. i cant install any app cuz system use 80% of space. Does anyone know how to fix this?
Back up all the files first. then enter twrp and select wipe, advanced wipe. Choose everything else except for usb otg and shift to wipe.
the phone will be completely erased. install official firmware with odin. Or if you have twrp backup, restore from backup.

Thanks for tips, i fix it by instaling official rom with odin. somewhere is problem with twrp.
My main phone got damaged so i am using this Moto G4+ phone temporarily. Years ago i flashed Resurrection Remix Nougat on this and the phone is really slow and laggy right now so I am hoping flashing a stock ROM will fix it but i am not sure how to flash the stock ROM. I know about the fastboot method but i am worried about bricking the phone and i really do not want to risk bricking it at all since this is the only working phone i have right now. I am worried about all these different bootloader versions and the 32bit/64bit thing. My current bootloader version is 1.07. Should i fastboot flash the ROM given here https://forum.xda-developers.com/moto-g4-plus/how-to/stock-rom-npjs25-93-14-4-march-1-t3608138 or do i have to do something else first?

If you're worried about bricking your device, I would initially try flashing the TWRP flashable of the Nougat or Oreo stock ROM (from here https://forum.xda-developers.com/moto-g4-plus/development/rom-oreo-8-1-0-soak-test-t3873367 ) This TWRP flashable will update your system, boot(kernel) and modem and should not update your GPT/bootloader (so you'd still be on B1:07). The stock ROM is 32 bit - if you're flashing, I would recommend you wipe data, after flashing, before booting - so ensure you back up (e.g. backup system, boot, data in TWRP) and keep that back up off your device.
If anything does happen, restore your backup and reboot.

I was able to successfully upgrade to stock Oreo through that TWRP zip but unfortunately the phone is still laggy, Do you think that fastboot flashing the stock ROM or upgrading to custom Pie ROM will help?

If you can still get into TWRP, there is no need to install a stock ROM. If you do, you will not only have to reinstall TWRP, but it will also encrypt your data partition. Just make sure that you perform a wipe to do a clean install of whichever ROM you choose. Also, if you haven't ever formatted the data partition, that will prevent from backing up or installing a custom ROM. If that is the case, make sure you copy any files you have saved because, unlike a wipe, formatting the data partition will delete EVERYTHING on that partition.
