to be honest I don't think its actually working it just that you have the volume on high. The way you can tell if it records via line and not mic is to turn down the volume and see if it still records. In my case it did not even though I picked "phone line" for audio source.
s..t, no volume high...really worked line recording
Is this working for anyone else?

In the settings it is set to line. Incoming voice is clear without the use of speakers so I guess it is indeed recording from line.
Obviously doesn't record from line as incoming voice in crowded places is impossible to hear.
works, but i suspect from mic (though is set to line).
audio is clear but at very low volume

Doesn't work for me on Xoom, but works on my Nexus One. I believe HTC put in circuitry that can detect different contact layouts.
Hey,
I had SGS3 before Nexus 4 and the volume on that was low, so you could increase it with Custom Roms and / or custom kernels so the speaker and headphones volume was much louder.
Anyone know whether something similar will come for NExus 4 as it's a tad quiet, althought the music quality is better than SGS3 in my opinion.
Cheers.

This Application is ONLY for phones running Gingerbread.
It will NOT work on any other version of Android but should work on ANY phone running Gingerbread (2.3).

and the paid version works fine for me
Thanks for the replies.
The Volume+ App doesn't work so I guess I will just wait to see if a kernel comes out that works with volume boosts.
Cheers
I'm having to use an app for call recording atm as I can't find anything to do with it on my phone.
Could anyone shed a bit of light on it?
I've tried some different call recording programs, and so far this is the one that has provided me with the best results
Haven't tried it on my Note 3, but it worked great on my galaxy S3

Try out MP3 incall recorder.
Good one with mp3 recording format. And also free.

£7.95 is a bit steep!
I think ill go with Automatic Call Recorder by Global effect. Its got a free trial so i know it works, then its only a £1.78 in app purchase.
It will be my first purchase ever, I hate in app purchases.

The app states it doesnt work with 4.3 yet.
Is it totally free, or is there an in app purchase to enable automatic call recording?
Using CallRecorder - https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.skvalex.callrecorder
With device type "SG Note II" and "Standard API" in recording settings works perfect.

Yes it is having in app purchase for automatic call recording but try out lite version first and decide.
I have purchased and it worth to spend. Even you can use this app in multidevice with one purchase.
And manual recording is not big deal, it gives icon in call screen and very flexible.

I agree that it's a little expensive, but i noticed that the quality was far superior other alternatives I haven't compared it to the one you've mentioned though

I would like to speak about the new funtionality, bug, and change.
For me now all works fine, I need to conplete test.
Only thing it's really orrible is the new Home with a too big icon. I can't see that.
What about speakers volume? Its louder or lower? Has the quality improve?
Thanks
You who already have this update could post pictures for us users of the D6543 (Brazil) version, because it will take too long to get to us. .
Ultra Stamina, works well?
I heard about a bug in the google bar? Proceeds? Pictures please.
Thank you

worked on the first try for me. However, it was a little bit laggy. Had the graphics quality on High but it's definitely not because of my network since I have Gigabit and professional hardware (Switches and Access Point).

have you unlocked bootloader? if yes do you have ta folder backed up???
If your notifications seem quiet, use the volume button, in volume settings it can be on max and sound quiet, but if you use volume on home screen it will increase. I think it's tied to media volume for some reason. Heard peoe say about camera viewer lag and tried 4k video, got 9:30 recorded and phone was barely warm. Couldn't record longer as ran out of storage. I think they have done something to the viewfinder that stops the phone overheating. Before I couldn't get more than 7 minutes.
