Hello,
I've been trying to flash a new ROM on my NOTE 3 (SM-900)
the ROMi've been using is the official Samsung ROM for Israel. (device compatible ofc)
but during flashing Odin (3.04) says failure.
this happen with two versions of the Israeli ROM and another ROM i've tried ( Paraguay's ROM)
the device is not a fake and it seem like i can flash it only with the official Hong Kong ROM.
the Odin log shows the following:

Hi,
tried to flash the 4.4 stock on my I9505 (was on 4.3, which worked fine).

Hi guys - first post.
I have been trying to upgrade my Gti9500 Octa with Kitkat. After trying many different upgrades I finally got one to work through odin:
I9500ZSUDNB3_I9500OZSDNB3_I9500XXUFNA6_HOME.tar
It's the Hong Kong version.
all goes well through odin until here:
<OSM> Enter CS for MD5..
<OSM> Check MD5.. Do not unplug the cable..
<OSM> Please wait..
<OSM> I9500ZSUDNB3_I9500OZSDNB3_I9500XXUFNA6_HOME.tar.md5 is valid.

Seems I need a modem.bin file.
In dowload mode ( which is in Korean!) it says:
Product Name: SHV-E300S
Current Binary: Custom
System Status: Custom
Warrany Bit:1
Apologies if I am in the wrong thread/
Any help is greatly appreciated.

I had the same on GT-I9595 and had to use a different usb port for it to flash correctly
Your phone is SHV-E300S NOT GT-I9500 and you're trying to flash i9500 rom on it. That's why it's fail.
Find SHV-E300S rom and flash it. It should work then.
(If I can remember correctly SHV-E300S and i9500 are different in modem hw. That should explain why it fail at flashing modem.)

Galaxy S5 root issue
So I need to root my S5 after a full reset but it keeps running into problems. I've tried from installing usb drivers to disabling reactivation lock and changing usb ports. I'm on G900F t-mobile variant with stock rom and firmware after a full reset, but no matter what I do it just wont do.
