So i have triangle away and it works great but is their anyway for instance say i break my digitizer and cant use my screen is there a way for me to do so without using my screen????? would be very useful

Hey guys my hd has locked it's self i can bring it out of standby but it wont unlock the touch screen.
have done 3 hard resets and it gets to the "tap screen to continue" screen but still says "unlock" in the bottom left corner.
it wont allow me to unlock it.
i am running the stock rom 6.1 on orange uk.
can anyone help?
does that corner of the screen work? what happens if you press phone? do you get the dialer? it could be that the screen doesn't work.
the soft keys doesn't work apart from the hang up key which vibrates and lights the screen. But when i touch the unlock button nothing happens. if i press the volume control i get the htc volume control as well
Well I had this problem once and only thing which worked was when I connected the phone to the power for charging and it immediately unlocked.
have you tried going into bootloader mode? if you can, then try install a new ROM...
Ok i didnt mean the soft keys. There is a option in the bottom left corner of the screen that says phone, i was wondering if you touch that corner does it work.
Also if only 1 of the soft keys are working you have a another issue as well. I would be getting in touch with orange and looking at sending it backfor now. I would flash any custom roms as this will affect the warranty. Look into keeping the warranty in tact until the issues have been resolved.
1 thing you could try is flashing the original rom again. See if you can find the orange ROM (it's on here somewhere) and reflash with this and it might solve some of the issues as this will do a little more than a ard reset will.
thanks for your feedback guys. Nothing i did made any difference so it's gone to HTC to either a: fix or b: replace. i was lucky in that i hadnt flashed any roms into it yet as i didnt wont to invalidate the warrenty and that orange being s#it, wont even let me upgrade the stock ROM. grr. will post on here when i find out what it is.
no idea what was wrong with it and they replaced the whole touch screen.

as the title says, my phone doesn't work anymore. It does that even in recovery mode, so I haven't been able to install another ROM...
I guess it's some hardware problem, but since my phone has been rooted, I wonder if there is any way to take it back to its "original status", without using the display... so that I can use my warranty...

my galaxy s4 gti9505 got water damaged
i opened it and cleaned it the propper way
now then first phone would not charge and after more drying and cleaning finally got to work.
the problems are as listed below
-touch screen sometimes starts responding on its own without me even touching it but after pressing power button and turning screen back on starts to work again
-will not connect to computer did before but now has stopped keeps saying connected to dock but charges
-touch screen above the home button and menu button and back button about 1 cm of the screen does not record my touch for eg. if i type in a keyboard holding phone vertically i cannot use the space or symbol or even keyboard setting (however when phone starts responding itself them buttons start working by themselves but will not allow me to use them sometimes i can use space).
ok now what i have done so far is as follows
- was rooted so my knox counter is 0x1
-warranty has been voided because of water damage and knox counter and i also spoke to samsung and they said we will charge you for fixing it but not sure what the problem is
-its on android 4.4.2 stock now but no propper bootlader as it was on chainfires root
-i cleared cache and full factory reset several times
i changed my charging port unit but made it worse as i could not lock screen using power button kept waking up strait away so i changed back to my first charging port flex cable and that issue has been sorted.
im using the phone everyday and touchscreen works fine apart from that little problem so im thinking the digitizer is ok
i think it is the function button or sensor that is causing this problem i am having

Hey Reader ! My Nexus 4 is unresponsive from the bottom light to about 2-3 inches up from the screen & I Accidentally put a pin on the phone. I Remember my pin for sure , but I Cannot hit Enter because of the unresponsive area . I Was able to get to the factory settings however I Cannot Confirm the Factory Reset ! Is there any possible way to Reset it by Computer ? I'm trying anything at all costs not o have to buy a new phone when mines is still usable ! PLEASE Help ! All Ideas Are welcome !
Information about which ROM you're using would be helpful. On custom ROMs you have to option to enable 180° rotation; you'd basically use your phone upside down, which should allow you to avoid the unresponsive area. In fact you can turn on all angles rotation and just tilt your phone around to avoid the unresponsive area. This is for custom ROMs, I'm not sure about stock.
If you are however on stock, it is worth to try turning on rotation and just rotate it landscape. If that's successful, you might want to just disable the pin instead of wiping the whole device.
So basically after flashing my note 4 several times my screen messed up. At first i flashed back to stock tmobile rom and it didnt work. Basically the problem is if i touch a certain part of my screen, it reads it as if i pressed a lower part of my screen. It doesnt read where i want to press it and the calibration is way off. I tried a calibration app but it did not work, and the only way im still using it is through my s pen which works perfectly fine. I even tried to flash a new rom (cyagonmod) but it still had the same problem, so i flashed back to stock rom and its still glitchy, PLEASE HELP!
I dont know exactly the service code.But there is a code that updates the touch screen firmware.Many users have solved this problem.If you can google or some other user can tell
