Hi! I purchased note 3 several yads ago, rooted it proeprly and it was all ok till several hours ago. While i was playing a game (Kunundrum, if it`s important) screen became unresponsive for several sec and became functional 3 sec after. After i closed game i couldnt turn screen off anymore! Not by screen timeout or lock key (long press still pops up turn off menu). I tried everything, uninstalled app, uninstalled all apps, unrooted phone, factory reset and the problem is still here! Can anyone help me pls?

i have the sprint version, bought it brand new and did not root or anything at all of that nature but if changing songs or on youtube the phone will reboot for no reason, happens up to six times a day, two being the least. Is there a way i can fix it myself?

Usually random reboots is a kernel issue. But since you have not rooted/flashed anything (I assume) than I would either take the phone back to where you bought it and try to get a re-flash or replacement. If taking it back in is not an option I would do a factory reset on the phone and run it full stock (try not to install any apps/themes) for a day or so and see if the reboots happen. You could also try flashing back stock image via Odin. If none of that works it might be hardware issue.
i have already reset more than 5 times and waited for a while only using apps already on the device, so where would i get the stock image?

I'm having the same problem.
Has anyone been able to find a solution tot his?
you got 1 year samsung warranty. use it.
My 5 month old un-rooted Note 3 (SM-N9005) which i bought in Norway just out of nowhere re started and now just almost every app or processes stops and eventually it crashes and restarts.
Any ideas what's happening? I'm not in the country atm so am really hoping to fix it as i really need it.
It doesn't seem to have mobile network either, not that it stays on long enough to use it.

Easiest way is to boot into recovery (Hold Volume Up, Home, Power before you see SAMSUNG GALAXY NOTE SM-N9005) and wipe cache. If that doesn't work, go back into recovery and perform a Factory Reset.

Do you have access to a computer? If you do, you can try flashing stock using Odin in Download mode.
Download the Odin file here: http://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/
Flash it under AP.
I can try that. Will it void my warranty? Also how and where do i get the stock firmware from and which do i need? My ap is: N9005XXUEND5

The Sammobile link, type in your firmware N9005XXUEND5 into the Firmware box, then it will search it for you. You also could just type N9005 and choose the latest based on your region.
No it will not void your warranty.

That's very weird.
Flashing stock should essentially fix the system files that are broken.
You could try root it, wiping all partitions, then reinstalling a ROM.

So i tried my best to install cyanogen mod 12 and it eventually worked but it was so buggy, i flashed my original ROM using ODIN and now the phone just shuts off every now and then and gets stuck in a boot loop until i connect a charger, it is not the battery though as it is always around 50% when it does it, i tried Re-installing my original rom but it still continues to do it. I tried to install philz touch to be able to reset the phone for a new ROM but when i press the buttons to boot it up it just turns on, does the stuff it usually does before going into philz touch but then shuts off, can someone please help? Im going to austria in a few days and need my phone fixed for then

Hi mate
What S4 model do you have , what rom are you installing?
Do a factory reset and flash rom again
Check your power button...just in case
if you root a stock rom you have to remove all knox related files , did you?

Sometimes this sort of issue appears when updating ROM. Please go back to stock and upgrade till lollipop , one step by one, from kitkat to lollipop. Hence you will be updating radios , baseband etc along with it. Then check if its working. It should work
Try heating the phone gently.... Sometimes it works. My phone's wifi option was greyed. I put it on my router for several days and it worked

I put that screen facing up.... Stove is just too dangerous u can put it on your laptop or something that continously heats upto a gentle temperature.... Stove will just eventually cool down

Hi, i had the same issues, i opened a thread here too, i solved by entering in safe mode (Hold power button and the menu' with 3 select option will displayed) just hold the Power option on you lcd and it will say if you want to reboot into recovery, once you are in recovery just restart the phone and it will work, atleast for me it does. Let me know.
